Bricksworth is consistently the place I recommend people that are in the north loop to go if they're craving food, or want a really good beer and a great time. Seriously, I've probably had everything on the menu and have never been disappointed. They have an extensive collection of beers that will please anybody, with some of the best Hazys and best Sours in town, and also cocktails that work for folks that don't want a beer. The patio is superb, and although you sometimes share it with a passing train, it's tucked away and is a nice separation from the business of the surrounding north loop. I'd argue the wings are easily top 3 in the whole state, they're always crispy, and the monthly specials are clearly thought over and iterated on by talented chefs that want to try new and unique things. The pizza is also probably the best Detroit style in the city, try the Elote and you'll see what I mean. Staff is a hoot, they're all super nice, great to talk to, and have honest opinions about their own menu. Seriously, if you're anywhere near the downtown area, go here. read more

What a great experience! My wife and I visited on a Sunday night and there were a lot of places closed on Sunday nights so I was happy to find the Bricksworth. They were open until 11 and had a great beer selection with an inside/outside option. My wife wanted to watch some of the Stanley Cup so we opted for inside. We arrived around 830 and were able to gain a seat at the bar. Bartender was amazing. Very friendly and personable. Based on his interactions we decided to get chicken tenders (Nashville) and fries and a few more beers. Overall this is a great, inviting environment. I can't recommend visiting here enough. What a find. This pub is kind of tucked away in a district with a lot of craft beer options. They do a great job with signage so just follow the signs! We popped in on a winter Friday night and found the place to be pretty quiet. They do offer a happy hour but not on Fridays. We enjoyed all of the beers we had plus enjoyed the pickle wings, and some other apps. We're excited to go back when the patio is open! read more

This place is in the former Darbys spot (RIP) and super close for Twins games, or concerts at the Fillmore or even target center if you don't mind the hike. The chicken tenders I can't believe I'm saying this are legit better than the bone in wings. Just so fricken good/ the dill pickle rub was insanely yummy. Came in when it was just a two-person crew -- one server and one cook. They absolutely killed it. We shared a flight, some wings, and the elote pizza, and everything came out fresh. I love Bricksworth for a casual dinner/sports night in North Loop! We walked in on a Saturday and sat at the bar, we were served quickly and had a great view of the TV. I'm a simple drink lover, they have a large menu but loved the twist of the Vodka Soda with Honey Syrup - just a touch of sweetness. This venue is in the back of an office building. You walk through a alley between a parking ramp and the building to get to it. I bet this is an awesome location in the warmer months. So other than the weird location, you have to walk a maze to get to the restrooms. Not the best thought out layout for a brewery. The beer was good here and the service was just okay. Got a bad vibe from the bartender, not sure why. Something was off. Tried the cool ranch dorito wings. I am officially not a fan, but the ranch dressing it came with made the taste better. We came to watch the game here and i'm glad we did! The entrance is kind of tucked away but they have a GIANT patio !!! The staff was very friendly and a man who i believe was the owner checked in on us and was nice. We ordered the chili lime chicken tenders and they had a great amount of spice! I asked for a recommendation and was pointed toward their Detroit style pizza. It is a unique rectangular pizza on a bready dough and cooked until it has a crisp bottom. I tried The Happiest Meal which has all the ingredients of a Big Mac on the dough. Unique idea. The flavors were OK but the top was dominated by pickles. They were disproportionate to all the other ingredients. While I like pickles, as you will see by the picture, it was way too much. The crisp crusty bottom of the pizza was hard and blackened making for a chewing struggled. I also tried their sweet potato tots. They were overly fried and many were a bit too hard. I ate at the bar and the bartenders were more focused on other staff that were sitting at the bar. I assume after their shift. They had a continuous conversation going. This place feels like a secret spot for only your best friends. When you pull up in the Uber, you follow the signs down a back alley. I was so excited. We went there for a pre-NFL draft party. It was so much fun! We were immediately seated at a 4 top table. The wait staff were so busy but they still found time to take our order. I ordered the Fugazi pilsner. I was blown away. It was specular. I know you will love it. After that we ordered the most unique pizza ever. A rectangular pizza with a cheesy crust and dollops up sauce on top. It is hard to describe. Tucked away in North Loop across from Graze, the patio had lots of high-tops and tables, and even some comfy patio furniture for seating. It's a beautiful outdoor spot right on the metro line with greenery around. INSIDE: There is a lot of seating inside for a cozy brewpub feel! They also have a private event space in the back available for event rentals. BEER: They've got a great lineup of brews from their brewery in Burnsville! As a GF gal I don't partake, but my partner is particular about beer and loves everything he has tried from them. FOOD: You seriously can't go wrong with anything on their menu. Their wings are insane - especially the Nashville hot and Cool Ranch Dorito ones. Their burger is delicious and their fries are perfection. They have a nice homey ambiance and a large selection of seating as well as a patio. Our waitress was incredibly friendly and quick with her service. I ordered the box logo pizza (supreme), Parmesan fries (comes with a delicious truffle aioli), and garlic cheesey bread. The whole meal was delicious. The pizza is a deep-ish dish with a crispy crust and just the right amount of marinara and cheese. Each slice comes topped with a jumbo pepperoni slice which was scrumptious. I came here with my friends for some drinks and they were worth it! Delicious and strong. Well worth your money. They offer speciality drinks as well as THC drinks. We hosted our welcome event for our wedding weekend at Bricksworth's private event space. It was perfect. We originally chose Bricksworth because the staff were so friendly and welcoming when we visited to tour the space. They made us feel like they really cared about helping us run a good event. This feeling carried through our interactions during and after the event too, through their communication and their actions. The space was perfect for our size - ~100 people, evening event, mix of standing and sitting, light bites. Their outdoor space was attractive. The vibe was casual. Their pricing (room reservation fee and their food and drink pricing for events) was reasonable. And Bricksworth is one of the few breweries that also offers wine, a full bar, and THC beverages. Their food offerings, also reasonably priced, sealed the deal. The night of the event, we met Sam, the GM, who served as our bartender (and beyond). She was fantastic for the entire event - checking in with us, keeping the bar moving, keeping food stocked, and making sure the speaker system and mic/sound equipment worked. She coordinated among supporting staff effortlessly. The room ran like a well-oiled machine. There were no hiccups or awkward moments. We offered our guests buffet-style "light bites" from their catering menu. Our guests raved about the food. It was delicious and would've been an excellent complete meal. The meatballs especially got rave reviews; the salads were bright and tangy; the sliders were excellent. Bricksworth helped ensure we ordered exactly the right amount of food; they made us feel comfortable with our budget and our food quantity in advance; and they offered night-of additions from the restaurant as a backup plan. The seating options served our group well - with the right balance of lounge seating, table seating, and standing room to keep the flow and spacing optimal. Our three-hour event on a Friday night in mid-May at Bricksworth was the perfect way to kick off our wedding weekend. Bricksworth is a great community with friendly staff who seem to truly care. We strongly recommend Bricksworth for similar casual private events. (And of course their restaurant, pizzas, and beer are excellent too!) read more

This is such a fun place with really fun menu items! I have been here mutiple times for different reasons. Most recently I tried their brunch, super good! We got the breakfast pizza, waffle dippers, and hashbrowns. The hashbrowns are better than McDonalds! I also came again with my parents and sibling for dinner. That time I tried a pepperoni pizza with goat cheese and garlic cheese bread. The cheese bread is delicious but I didn't love my pizza as I think there was too much sauce on it but that is just something I will need to remember for next time! There are umbrellas for both sun and if it's a little cloudy out or chance of rain. They also have some delicious wings, both bone-in and bonless. They have some dry rubs and different wing flavors you can get them tossed in and honestly all the flavors are awesome. The staff is extremely friendly, and it is open seating outside, so after a game it could get slammed and every table fills up. My husband had the Aloha Friday pizza and he liked the kick of heat; I chose the Box Logo minus sausage crumbles and I loved the crispy edges of the pizza and thought the flavor was great (next time I will state I don't want the red sauce topping as I'm all about crisp crust and toppings, so clearly I am not a fan of Detroit style). For dessert we shared the Caramel Crunch Cookie and that was so good that it was gone in a hurry! Why did I deduct one star? Mainly because the interior looked like it was suffering from an identity crisis, with the rough high top tables and chairs between the bar and the booth seating, and the different color pipes on the ceiling.
