Service: at the time I made our reservation, I referenced that my party would be celebrating a family birthday. There was no acknowledgment of this by the restaurant's staff at any time during our visit. Even little things like this matter. After being seated, no one poured water for our group. Appears that this is a "self serve" thing; if you're thirsty, pour your own water. We waited at least 10 minutes for our server after being seated. As for the coffee, I tried the carrot cake latte as per baristas recommendation and was really good! I got a 12 oz with an extra shot because I like my coffee flavor strong and it was perfect. The espresso has a bit of that bitter taste so if that's not what you like this probably isn't the coffee for you. My only reason for 4 stars is the price. My coffee was 8.92 with no tip so I paid $10 for a 2 shot drink today. I hope that once they have been running the coffee part for a while that the price can come down at least a dollar. Most extra shots are about 75 cents to 1 dollar at other coffee shops whereas it's 1.25 here. Will be back to try other specialty items!
