    Dip Into France
    Kathleen K.

We stopped in for lunch. Having driven by here often and not noticing the spot, we finally saw the sign. Lisa provided great service and the backstory on the restaurant is worth asking about. They have been open about 3 weeks but the owners worked at the previous restaurant for many years. The Coop Burger is very good and was cooked a little more done than the medium rare requested. Still, a solid choice. It is also discounted during lunch 11am - 2pm. The Dip Into France was cooked very well done and is dry. The au jus was good. The worst part was the fries. They were so soggy with grease we didn't eat them. They probably didn't have the oil hot enough. They charge $5 for an IBC rootbeer. An order processing fee is added to the check.

Crispy Buffalo chicken sandwich no cheese, lettuce or tomato with a side of their signature blue cheese dressing
    Laura A.

Had to check out Greg and Lisa's! The inside hasn't changed much with the new ownership but it does still have that good townie bar feel. The new menu has a lot to offer. I ordered the Buffalo Wings sandwich- no swiss, lettuce or tomato but add a side of their homemade blue cheese dressing. After receiving my sandwich I asked for a side of buffalo sauce since my sandwich was VERY lightly sauced (could be an ode to MN spicy ) The bun was nicely toasted and the chicken was crispy and delicious. The hand cut fries were great!

Receipt showing BS 4% order processing fee that they don't disclose and also shows the higher price than their online menu.

Dad said "if you can't say anything good about the food don't say anything " I had the French dip. My daughter had the mushroom burger.

Loved his advice. We shared Seafood Guac, shared Ahi Tuna Tacos and one had a Mediterranean Bowl with Shrimp which was outstanding!

I've been to the Bloomington location and that is WAY better than this one…read more.. There is plenty of parking and it is close to off the highway, so decent location. Walking inside the first thing I noticed was the lack of decor and warmth in this place. The pictures are hanging up spaced unevenly. The boards above the booths are not screwed into the wall. It honestly looks and feels tacky. There is a lack of decor and the lighting is too harsh. It feels like someone is moving out. Our server and the other employees, are the only reason I'm giving this place 2 stars. They were absolutely lovely and helped one another out. Our water glasses were filled multiple times and our server was very sweet. The food: we started with a beer and mojito. The beer was good. The Mojito was too strong and too sweet. It was really strange... Then we had the lobster bisque. It was very peppery and lacked flavor. There was only one piece of lobster and it had a strange after taste to it. The jerk chicken nachos were awesome is flavor but sooo greasy. See the pictures. I got the hot chicken and waffles. The texture of the chicken was great!! And the waffles were tasty! But these chicken tenders are very spicy and I could only get through half the meal. I would love if you could pick a non spicy version!! My boyfriend got a lobster roll and said it was good not great and the fries were pretty standard. We will not be back to this location. If you want to try this place, I would recommend the Bloomington location!

Thought we would try this place as we were looking for a new restaurant and we were glad we did!…read more I ordered the lunch fish and chips: amazing! The fish was so tender! The lunch size was perfect for me! My husband got the burger. I tried a bite and the meat was SO good!! Our only complaint is we didn't love the fries. Our server was great. Stopped in with some friends for the first time this week. Service was nearly nonexistent…read more Ordering was slow. Getting drinks was slow. The bar was nearly empty, there were maybe 5 people in the bar/restaurant when we arrived. I don't think it was slow on the bartenders part as much as it was our server. A couple Guinness, a black and tan and a hot cider later, we waited to order food. While eating we decided we didn't want to wait any longer for our server so we went to the bar to ask for waters, our drinks long gone at this point. We also got up to get our own ketchup. Burger was fine but mostly flavorless. Cottage pie was fine, had I not been starving I likely wouldn't have eaten as much as I did. The food was just OK, nothing memorable or spectacular about it. Prices were pretty high for what it was, $17 for a cheeseburger is pretty outrageous, cottage pie in a ramekin was $18. Server wasn't very friendly, or was just in a bad mood that day. She spent a lot of time in the back (this was between major meal times, around 3:30-4) so she didn't seem super engaged or have much desire to be out on the floor. 3% surcharge for credit card

Met a friend for Happy Hour at this spot to catch up and enjoy some small bites…read more Plenty of parking in the strip mall lot where this restaurant is located. The interior is modern and inviting, with some fun wallpaper making a statement. We cozied up to the bar during this visit. I will say that bar was a bit sloppy during our visit...bartenders' water bottles cluttering the visible space, bartenders spilling our drinks a bit during delivery, and weird transitions of staff that were a bit distracting. The Espresso Martini was the best item I ordered! Well balanced and the addition of the cold foam really made for an enjoyable sip. Would absolutely return for that one! The bites we ordered had great flavor, but some fell a bit flat when trying to live up to their creative ideas. The Fried Pickles were the best food item: perfectly crispy medallions with two delicious dipping sauces. The "burnt ends" cauliflower are really just roasted cauliflower with BBQ sauce on top, missing out on the umami juiciness of their namesake. The Chips that came with the Dip were just ruffled potato chips, not housemade or interesting. Solid spot for happy hour if you're looking in the area!

Starting my Happy Hour series and Kitchen and Rail in Eagan did not disappoint…read more The menu is curated, not overwhelming, but still has solid variety -- and the pricing? Very reasonable for the quality and vibe. We ordered the cauliflower burnt ends, fried pickles, and chips & dip. Everything came out flavorful and fresh. The cauliflower especially was a standout -- seasoned well with that perfect texture. The staff was helpful and very informative, which I always appreciate when trying a spot for the first time. The atmosphere gives after-work energy -- a place where you can unwind with coworkers or commune with family and friends. And the background tunes were on point. Happy Hour is getting a 4.5/5 from me. I'll definitely be back to keep this series going.

Tips: - This eatery is on DoorDash…read more - The double turkey burger is excellent. I came to this plaza originally for Caribou Coffee. After fetching my drink, I did a brief tour to check out what businesses were here. I noticed My Burger. I made a note to drop by. After the blizzard, I broke out from hibernation in my hotel room and dug my rental vehicle out of a foot of snow with a snowbrush. I placed an order on DoorDash sitting in my vehicle after I was done digging out my vehicle nearly an hour later. I then headed over to this eatery to pick up my lunch. I got these items: - Double turkey burger (fried onions, ketchup, sweet pickles, and garlic aioli) - Coleslaw - Mexican Coke I got an estimated time to pick up my order. I got there early, as it was five minutes away by car. I went to pick up my drink order from Caribou Coffee before backing into a parking spot steps away from My Burger's entrance. My Burger is a local chain in the Twin Cities. It has apparently been around since 2004 and prides itself on using fresh ingredients. When my order was ready, I walked in. I got the most pleasant, cheerful man behind the counter. I let him know that I had a DoorDash order under my name. He nodded and brought out a paper bag. He then took a bottle of Mexican Coke from the fridge. He let me know that the Mexican Coke didn't have a twist-off cap on the bottle. He asked me whether I wanted it removed now or later. I went with having him remove it for me, as I may not have brought my bottle opener with me. I joked that I didn't want to try prying it off with my teeth, which made him laugh. He handed me my bottle without a cap. I thanked him and happily headed back to my vehicle. I headed back to my hotel room to have lunch. I liked that this meal came in a box. Let's start with the Mexican Coke. I last sampled it when I was at the Coca-Cola Museum in Atlanta. It was nice getting a full bottle. I liked it. It tasted crisp, with almost a natural sweetness that you don't get with regular Coke. It was fizzy and cold. I went with a double turkey burger because maybe the patties would be thin. Nope, they were perfect. The burger itself comes with lettuce, tomato slices, and mayo on a buttered bun. I also added fried onions, ketchup, sweet pickles, and garlic aioli (swap). I got a combo. By default, the side was fries. I got coleslaw instead without paying extra. This double turkey burger was excellent. The patties were juicy and seasoned to perfection. It reminded me of getting the gobbler at Licks. It was my go-to burger before the franchise died in the greater Toronto area. I have not had a decent turkey burger replacement until now. The ingredients were indeed fresh. I loved the garlic aioli, fried onions, and sweet pickles that made this burger special. I miss this burger already. The coleslaw was the perfect side. The slaw was crunchy. It was a mayo-based coleslaw that was tasty. I wish that I had known about this eatery sooner. I would have had more turkey burgers by now! It's a winner. I look forward to returning for more good eats. This place also has milkshakes. I'd like one. (136)
