Typical sports bar prices ranging in the late teens early 20s for food. Happy hour is decent $5 taps, margaritas and some other drinks. Food is decent. Neither the best nor worst. Typical bar food in a typical sports bar. I had the spinach-artichoke dip, and it was nothing special. Others at the table had the chicken wrap and lobster ravioli. The chicken wrap was good (I mean, can you mess that up?), and the lobster ravioli was lacking lobster. What stood out--and what earned this 3-star rating--was our server, Graycen, who was fantastic! Her friendly attitude, attentiveness, and professionalism truly saved the experience. Unfortunately, our first impression wasn't as great. A staff member who had been cleaning up seated us right next to other patrons, despite the restaurant being nearly empty. When we asked to move, the next table had visible crumbs and a sticky surface. When we pointed it out, her response was, "I cleaned the table. I've been here for 8 hours--I should know." Blueberry Burger. Their steakhouse burger with a habanero blueberry sauce, cheese, and bacon. A side of their buffalo ranch fries and ranch. The fries were great. The burger was okay, smaller than I expected. The blueberry sauce was okay. It is spicy and the heat will linger. The vibe is your typically sports bar. To note, the prices aren't bad for the day and age and they have an old popcorn machine filled with cheeseballs (think Cheeto cheeseballs). They have pulltabs and virtual slots available. Pleasantly surprised and nice experience! The food was pretty tasty. I had the Lupe's Avocado Chicken Flat Bread. Lots of veggies, basically a salad on a flat bread! My boyfriend had the Turkey Club and ordered a side salad of extra. He had iced tea and I had coffee. Good service. The waitress kept refilling our drinks. We enjoyed our lunch here. Driving home from a takeout order as i write this review so I have yet to try the food but the service was terrible! The hostess was completely missing, a sign at the hostess stand said pick up to-go orders at the bar and the bartender just redirected me to the hostess stand. The bartender was rude and not at all helpful. I will not be a returning customer. We'll... I tried the food, it was nearly as bad as the service. Would you pay $21 for this? We decided to go here after my cousins Swearing-in ceremony (police). We had a group of 7 and when we walked in we did see a sign about large groups of 10 or more may not be accommodated, first come first serve basis. So maybe not idea for large groups. They were pretty empty when we walked in, no one was at the host stand but there was a sign that said wait to be seated (unless you wanted to sit at the bar). We were sat next to the door, I would say it's not idea when it's cold out because you can feel the air come in every time the doors are opened. There was also several flies around this area which isn't idea for an environment to eat in, especially indoors. The waiter was generally attentive. We all ordered drinks, then food. For some reason one of the meals came out at least 15 minutes after everyone else's (we all ordered at the same time). Also 2 people ordered Caesar salads and because one person only ordered a salad (food wise) its was implied they wanted a full size vs the side salad portion and prior to the meal they delivered 1 salad saying "who ordered a Caesar salad?" In which one person responded they did (even though there should have been 2). After maybe 10 mins or so she wanted to ask for extra dressing, and come to find out it was someone else's salad and they brought out a full size salad with the food. That was a bit of a mess. Ordered wings & fries. Asked for the wings to be fried hard/crispy, they weren't, but were overall fine. I got the spicy dill flavor. They were decently seasoned. The fries are interesting here. They are more so like a hand cut fry. The food overall was decent. I ordered a melon bear drink, it was okay. Overall I'd say service could be a little better and the fly situation/cleanliness could be better. read more

I'm surprised by the reviews, but I've only visited for Happy Hours so maybe that's the difference? It's close to our campus and it has hit the spot both times I've stopped in! They host an all day Happy Hour which includes a wine, beer, and some liquors. I opted for a Tito's and Diet Coke. The drink was strong and the service was quick for me. We split several apps - Pretzel Bites - I was not expecting to enjoy these! They were soft but had a crust on the outside and the cheese sauce elevated them to a whole new level Cheese Curds - these cube shaped cheese curds had a unique breading (thicker than a typical cheese curd, but not overly thick) and paired well with a traditional marinara Buffalo Chicken Dip - spicy, creamy, and hearty! The bleu cheese was mild - I'm usually anti bleu cheese, but wasn't bothered by it. The naan was warm and held its integrity with the heavy dip Fries - such a cool shape! My friend recommended me this place because she said how she liked the duck wontons. The only time I ever had duck wontons was at the state fair so, I was excited to try this place out. I went during the weekend so, I would say it was pretty busy but there was still plenty of seating. If I had to be honest, the food here was alright. PRO- 1. There are many options to choose from the menu 2. My server was nice and friendly 3. I would say everything is reasonably priced CONS- 1. The burger was tiny...I was a little shocked when it came out 2. The banana foster is veryyy sweet. I usually like sweets but it was a bit too much for my liking 3. All the portions were small so, I could've ate it all alone but I usually like sharing with friends Overall, the food wasn't terrible but I am not sure I would come back again. Met some girlfriends here for lunch today, everything we ordered was so delicious! We started out with the shrimp toast to share and it was dreamy, I could go back and order that for my entire meal it was so fresh and delicious! I ordered the turkey club it is such a big sandwich and packed with goodness, a little messy to eat but so worth it and those fried are dream worthy also, I think my cousin always ordered a side of seasoned sour cream with them which would make them even better but good with just ketchup. If you've been to a Muddy Cow, you've been to MC tap house, biggest difference, MC Tap has better food. Here's the thing about MC tap house on our visit that you will have to remember during this review, we got there, late ish, on a Thursday in May. It's was probably 830/9pm when we got there. This place solely based on atmosphere is an absolute 1.5 maybe a 2. It's completely trying to be a downtown bar mixed with a downtown club. It has next to 0 authenticity in aesthetics. It's a cookie cutter platform with Muddy Cow but none of the rustic feel. Truly inside it belongs attached to a shopping mall. It's hiding inside a small commercialized section North where you would expect it. From the outside it says tap house with warm lighting. From the inside it's 20 tap beers, which almost all are from commercial breweries. Not to mention that during our visit the music could only be described as late 90s, early 2000s R&B that didn't make the radio. I was honestly I thought I was in a bad club the entire time we were there, and this is next to a Cub Foods apartments that start at 2K a month. Much to my surprise however, we had absolutely amazing service and were surrounded be staff. Our waiter was very thoughtful, polite, and quick. We were sat quickly, and had our drinks and refills very timely. The food came out in perfect timing despite our late arrival and no one seemed in the slightest annoyed that we were ordering so close to kitchen close. The food was actually pretty tasty. I've had better burgers but the take on fries was well worth ordering. They were crisp and close to the size of a wedge but airy almost like tastier pork rhines. The burger I had was, better seasoned than expected and cooked exactly how I ordered it but hardly worth the 15 dollar price tag. The cheese curds were good as well as the Italian sandwich. But overall everything besides the curds were lack luster for the number of ingredients in them. Overall the service was great, the food was average, and the atmosphere was commercialized with terrible music. Decided to swing in here to see a friend play an acoustic set on the patio. With suburban bars I usually don't expect much, but their apps were surprisingly good! Even if you just need fries to sop up all the alcohol, it's worth it. The drinks were priced great as well! As a pickle wrap lover I had to get the deep fried Minnesota Sushi! It was yummy and had a bit of a spicy kick! The service was slow to get seated, but once we sat down, we were checked on often. Came here after a friends wedding today and even though he had a written reservation for 26 I think they had no clue when we arrived. Luckily our server saved the day by letting us in the party room that wasn't being used. After some initial awkwardness things started moving in a good direction. The ordering process was far from ideal as you can imagine but with only one server for all of they managed to get things going. The wontons were pretty good but drowned in a sauce that was ok. I had a salad and a plus the lady had the Boursin burgee and it was ok not cooked to temp but she was happy. All in all 3 stars for the whole place a girl nest to us at the table had hair in her French dip the manager never came to talk to us except to drop food and then seemed very rude. Service started off great, my wife and i got sat right away, ordered a drink and the. our food and all was going well. seemed to be enough people in at 6pm not to throw any alarms of a poor business...But the the food came. i ordered an Elvis Burger (burger with peanut butter) with a gluten free bun and after about ten minutes the food came out. my burger came without a bun as they ran out so i had a few pieces of lettuce for a "wrap" they thought was a good substitute without asking, 3 pieces of reheated bacon (one piece well done and one piece almost raw), the peanut butter and mayo as a side, and a few onions and pickles tossed under the burger. i don't know if you like peanut butter on your burgers but if it's not on the hot burger, it really doesn't help having it cold in a side container. basically worthless meal. Burger was too well done, no flavor, fries were decent and more or less a shrug with an "im sorry" from the waitress. Long story ending, we won't be back although we live 5 minutes from this place. oh, and they still charged me for the $2 GF bun. read more

We were looking for a late night snack and we found MC taphouse. They didn't have a lot of options past 10 PM but all of us ordered wings. Most of us ordered the blackberry barbecue wings. They kind of tasted like they came out of the freezer with a freezer burn but the carrots we're quite tasty with the ranch dressing. They also give you a hefty dose of ranch. We have been coming here to watch T-Wolves playoffs and were promised by the manager that after a hockey game the tv right by our table would be turned on. After that game ended we were told that they were too busy to change it and that manager that promised this no where to be found when we continually asked our server. I picked this for my birthday dinner and was so disappointed. We ordered takeout via their website, so our interaction with staff was minimal. I guess that's what makes the experience feel even worse. Upon arrival the hostess station had a sign that indicated "To go" orders were located at a pickup station near the bar or something to that affect. Went to the bar to ask the bartender and before I could even finish asking he says "NOPE" while walking away. I wasn't too impressed with the food, sorry for the poor pictures, I always get too excited for food to remember to take pictures. Wings were subpar for what I would expect a pub food place. I usually like everything, but the burger didn't feel special at all. Prices for drinks was good. After eating, about 430 now, and asking for our bill, I felt we were rushed out. Especially since a few of us haven't finished our drinks yet. I got up to leave expecting people waiting to be seated and needing our booth, but there were still open booths and no one waiting.
