I only ordered a Thai Chi latte, it was hot and tasty. The ambiance and decor is exactly what you expect in these chain coffee shops. The staff was very polite and helpful. Unfortunately this Caribou location consistently disappoints me with incorrect orders, not having drip coffee ready (I'm not kidding), and poor service. I've emailed the company with my concerns at least three times and things are not improving. I highly recommend the Caribou located by Von Hanson's (excellent staff) or the one by Walmart as alternatives in Shakopee. I will never return to this location by Target ever again. read more

1. What's the point of wearing gloves when you're using them to take peoples money, credit cards and working the cash register and not changing them before you work with food? Complete morons. 2. I ask for room in my coffee, completely full to the rim so spills on the way out the door. What's the point of asking me if I want cream or a room? It's like they're mechanical, they just ask they don't actually do it. A bagel store who never has bagels. This is our third trip in a row where this is out of most desirable bagels. Yes, even plain bagels. Being subjected to the same old story as people attempt to order bagels at a bagel store.... "We're out of that... in fact we're out of most of our bagels. We have nasty bagels left like poppy seed, four cheese, etc". Get a clue and make more bagels. Perhaps change managers whom can recognize the demand for bagels in their bagel store and make adequate inventory Do not waste your time driving to the bagel store with no bagels. read more

40 minute wait today and we were too tightly packed to leave the drive through. Our baby lost patience and was crying so financially I went inside. There were 4 employees so reasonably well staffed and the manager wasn't even slightly apologetic just said "what do you want me to do about it?" They still charged us for our food after 40 minutes! Came home and found 2 sandwiches were made wrong anyways. I know for a fact they were super busy and backed up last Saturday morning too so surely this wasn't a surprise. I'm sure our drinks will be great but no coffee drink is worth a 50 minute drive-thru wait. Spent 45 minutes in line, with no way out or we would've driven away sooner, then got to the window, paid for our drinks, and then were asked to pull ahead to a parking spot to wait for our drinks to be ready. Wow. Not sure what was happening inside but I don't see the need to ever go to a Caribou drive-thru again. We ordered 2 drinks 1 pumpkin spice blended cooler and 1 Carmel high rise. We got a blended thing that tasted like peanut butter and a almost black coffee with PEPPER on it. Not sure who they are hiring and if they think it's funny but it's not. read more

After 20+ visits and nearly all of them less that desirable I felt the need to finally review them. They seem to have a lot of new people all the time or else lots and lots of part timers because I see different faces all the time and someone is always training. After a large, but very simple order and no line in the store ( only one car in the drive thru at the time) the 4 people working still managed to make it take 14 minutes to fulfill my order of 2 brewed coffees no cream, 2 kids hot chocolates, a breakfast sandwich and an oatmeal. Should be fairly simple for 4 people nothing in the order was custom or even required concocting anything. After getting my items one by one, finally only the oatmeal left and no one knew how to make the oatmeal. 3 workers looking at a piece of paper reading over the steps one by one as I wait. Ugh! My recommendation is to drive one more mile and go to the caribou on Vierling. Even if you are 8 deep in line you'll get out faster. read more

My husband and I go to this location at least three times a week and have never had an issue. In the morning, the drive thru worker is usually kind and cheerful and I've never received the wrong order. The also have a new sitting area in the front which often attracts bike riders and people enjoying the nice weather. read more

I've been here twice both times they messed up my order. The first visit I ordered a small decaf coffee with soy milk, I got a medium decaf latte with soy milk. The second visit I ordered a medium decaf coffee with soy milk, I got a medium decaf coffee with cream after I had corrected her two times. read more

Caribou is the best coffee place in Minnesota and sometimes they can give you the wrong order but at least caribou keeps everything on their menu unlike Starbucks. read more

This is not one of the better Caribou's. The staff frequently seems overwhelmed and prioritizes the drive up over the people waiting at the counter. I usually go to the one over by Cub on the other side of 169. read more

I usually visit this shop all the time. Visited the shop with my son. I ordered a large hot turtle mocha and my son ordered a blended turtle mocha. He received his and it was over ice, I received mine and it was a medium not a large plus it was half full. Very disappointed in the service that day. read more

Very rude people! They don't want you to use your perks and get angry when you ask them about it. Never going here again!

I downloaded the Yelp app just to discourage other patrons from choosing this location. I am not a "fancy" coffee drinker and usually make at home. On one occasion it took 20 minutes at the drive through with 2 people in front of me. I thought okay short staffed maybe new people, they apologized for the wait. Annoying, but benefit of the doubt. That was last week. So, this morning I decided to return as I was out of coffee at home. Instead of go through the drive through I decided I would go in instead. There was 3 employees behind the counter, 4 patrons waiting for drinks already purchased. I stood by the register for at least 5 minutes, not once in the multiple glances from the employees did they acknowledge my presence and say they would be right with me. I have never ever been to a coffee shop where there wasn't even a good morning. That was it for me, I walked out the door coffee-less and will never go back to this caribou again. I will also tell my neighbors to spend their money elsewear in Shakopee. Oh and not one of the 4 people waiting for their drinks were served while I was being ignored. read more

Ok it's been three months since my last review here and all I can say is there is no hope. They're unorganized, super slow, and they have no sense of urgency. When i go thru drive thru, that's because I want to drive thru!! Not sit and wait fifteen minutes for my drink!! It's coffee... Are they hand grinding every bean?!! Terrible. Embarrassing. Slowest caribou I've ever been to over and over again. And yet, I keep going back - why? Obviously I'm as bright as those people working there!! read more

Although I have had a couple of snotty teenage order takers, by far, this place is awesome. They have a great variety, and most of their people are very welcoming and engaging. I stop to get coffees for me and some co-workers generally once a week. One of the times, I left, and my co-worker texted me that she did indeed change her mind and want a coffee. I was at a stop light, and went to make a U-turn, and ended up spilling my super hot coffee on me. (So not fun to feel like your buns are burning because the coffee is under your butt on the seat, steaming, waiting for you to lower it to your demise) I got back into the shop, placed the order for my co-worker, and ordered my coffee again. I asked if they had a bathroom, and explained I was covered in sticky coffee, and they re-made my coffee for me, for free. It was totally not their fault, it was all me, and I explained that, but they gave me the re-made coffee for free anyways. That's GREAT customer service right there, and it would take a LOT of poor service to change my mind about this location after that. read more

WOW!!!!! Horrible service!! I simply hand a cashier a twenty dollar bill with a purchase of a berry white mocha and she hands me back a five dollar bill back. When i ask her where is the rest of my change she starts swearing at me and tells me I'm accusing her of something she didn't do. read more
