    Great employees!

Outstanding employees! Very upbeat and personable. There are only 5 people on duty, and they are swamped, however they are all so friendly.

I like the location as it is right off of 494 and Penn Avenue. Conveniently located close to Target, Walgreens, and so much more. Traffic can be a bit bothersome in this area. If you go through the drive through, pay close attention when leaving the drive thru line for passing cars. I have seen some close calls there. Inside has been fairly clean for the few times I have wandered inside. Their coffee is pretty goo but sometimes drinks are not filled up to the top, very rarely in my experience but this happens occasionally. They have never gotten my order wrong. Staff encounters haven't been very friendly on a few of my visits. I have only purchased the Caribou drinks and Turkey Bacon Egg & Swiss sandwiches. Often if I order a sandwich they check if they have it before they add to the order, which I appreciate. They normally have it but on a few occasions it was out of stock. I would recommend getting a perks account if you plan to visit a lot or even occasionally as it is free to sign up. You earn 2 points per dollar spent. It's 120 points to get a free drink and 30 points for an espresso shot. Despite the few issues I've had in the drive thru, there's nothing that has turned me away from this location unless it is very busy.

Full disclosure: I am not a coffee snob. I drink a lot of it, but I'm not the type to have an extra large, soy milk chai berry mocha latte with an extra shot and a squirt of sugar free vanilla on the regular, or even ever for that matter. For someone "normal" like me, Caribou is a great place to grab a warm morning pick me up. The staff is friendly, the drinks are tasty (and low calorie if you want them that way) and the prices are so much better than Starbucks. The environment is warm and homey, and free of pretentious coffee house regulars. It's just right for someone like me.They also have some pretty good warm breakfast sandwiches, try the apple chicken one, yum!

    Mmm... sure is.

Drive-Thru review: always friendly, fast and efficient and willing to give my whip cream and a milk bone.

Asked for light ice and it was ignored. The service was slow and flavor was inconsistent with other Caribou Coffee locations.

There is some street parking as well as some paid ramps. I came in on a Saturday morning around 10AM. By then, it was busy, but I was able to still find a seat. The staff were kind and I think as pleased with the number of drink options as well as pastries - gluten free, too! I enjoyed a seasonal lemon bar latte (yum!) and a gluten free banana chocolate chip muffin. I will likely be back. The coffee is great, the parking situation is just a bit weird.

I used to live in the area and when the small coffee shop opened I was so exited to have that in our community and was happy to support them - even if some coffee beverages were top dollar. I was in the area today, and decided to stop in since I no longer live in the area and wanted to enjoy a good brew. Unfortunately, the experience I had left me leaving with a bitter taste in my mouth - and it wasn't from the coffee. I thought it goes without saying, but when a customer greets you, you should greet them back, not just stare. It would be even better if your staff would greet each customer first - make them feel welcome. Maybe I'm a millennial channeling boomer energy, but for years I'm noticing the customer service disappearing from a lot of businesses. I love that connection, but I'm understanding that some people see only a paycheck and skid by with minimal customer service and that is the new way. I don't plan to visit this establishment again. I wish the barista with star tattoos would have put in enough customer service energy that she did with her impeccable makeup.

First things first--the vibe is chef's kiss if you're into cozy, low-key, intentional spaces. It's quaint without trying too hard, and it doesn't have that loud, chaotic coffee shop energy. I was actually able to focus, which says a lot. Now what really sets this place apart? It's tucked inside Zawadi Center, and that matters. This isn't just a grab-your-drink-and-go type of café. You're surrounded by culture, community, and a space that feels like it means something. Between the event space, the restaurant, and the overall energy, it feels layered... like you accidentally found a hidden gem that locals want to keep to themselves. The refresher? Solid. Did what it needed to do. No complaints there. If I had to give a little Yelp Elite honesty: seating can be a bit limited depending on timing, and if you're someone who needs complete silence, this might not be your spot when it gets busier. It's more "focused but alive" than "library quiet." Overall, this is the kind of place you come to reset, get a little inspired, and maybe romanticize your life for a couple hours. Will I be back? Absolutely.
