    Iced coconut whipped matcha
    Madison B.

The convenience of going here while stopping by the library is 10/10. Also, you can place an order online while your kids are playing then pick up on your way out (which is what my game plan was ) I tried a iced coconut whipped matcha from their summer 2025 menu. It was nice and refreshing! Definitely will come back to try a coffee and pastry

Customer service was great. This location is hidden in the Hennepin County Service Center.

Pleasantly surprised to find a solid coffee shop inside a Hennepin County Service Center/Library/ courthouse. The barista was friendly, there weren't a lot of seating but also wasn't overly busy. Lots of natural light at this location and it was clean, bright and super cute with a minimalist plant vibe and music playing quietly. The lavendar vanilla oatmilk latte was good, only complaint is that it was too milky for me but others may like their lattes extra milky. Overall, great spot if you are visiting the building or in the area, although I may not go out of my way to seek it.

    The Silk Road

I needed a pick me up after my trip to the DMV, and this spot was located right outside ;) Fun branding and an intriguing list of seasonal drinks convinced me this was the spot! Service was really friendly and quick! I ordered the Silk Road, which was normally an iced latte, but I wanted something warm given the fact that it was snowing in April! The latte itself was great, but the barista sprinkled some additional spices on top, which floated in the latte and ended up in my mouth most of the sips. This wasn't the most pleasant experience and reminded me of grounds in the coffee. If they eliminated that topping, it would have been a perfect cup of Joe! A few small adjustments and this spot will be a knockout!

Lavender Vanilla Latte (I took the photo after taking a sip lol)

I had a lavender vanilla latte and it was tasty! This coffee shop is located inside of the Hennepin County Service Center, so it's inside on the second floor right next to the library. A little noisy just because people are going in and out to get their drivers licenses and etc. If you're in the area it's a nice one to check out!

Such a cute coffee shop located in the library perfect for getting a quick little pick me up before studying or reading! Lots of tables available and very well maintained! The barista was very friendly!! I got a butter croissant which was so soft and buttery and delicious and also picked up a seasonal shave and spice iced latte! Highly recommend! Will definitely come back again!!

Didn't expect much from a coffee shop sandwiched between the HCLibrary & Hennepin County DMV... I would award Jones Coffee 7 stars for their LOCAL, INDEPENDENT, satisfying house-blended/roasted coffee! Kudos for not only offering delish bakery items but a variety of gluten-free items as well! The Pumpkin Gingersnap Latte, made with homemade spice pumpkin sauce & gingersnap crumble was incredible! Glamper Latte totally rocked with it's sage infused maple syrup & black pepper! I had to buy some "Liquid Death" in the cooler-just for the fun factor for the kids who didn't get to come to the cool coffee shop!

Far better that it has any need to be! With the captive audience that comes with the Ridgedale Library/Service Center/Court building--this coffee shop could've just coasted by like the old Dunn Bros that stood in this concession space. Now it feels like this third wave coffee shop should be somewhere more people can try (because this isn't the most convenient stop on errands). The owners *get* coffee and it shows in what they serve. I've been several times and I find their speciality drinks are also good: the French Quarter Cold Brew is good, the Silk Road is so good it prompted me to finally write a review. This isn't the place you go for foofy Frappuccino-style drinks (eye roll at Dutch Bros...) this is coffee for people who appreciate coffee. Now please open a more convenient day-to-day location in downtown Wayzata

Great cafe!! They have the best matcha in the cities in my opinion & it's perfect for grabbing a coffee on your way to the library.

Best fresh roasted coffee in town! They roast small batches locally. Inside the Ridgedale library, I was surprised in the best way possible!

The space itself looks like an older Caribou location that's been renovated, with a casual vibe and plenty of seating options. They also offer food like breakfast items and sandwiches, which is a plus. The coffee was just fine overall, but the sesame latte was a miss for me. It tasted like straight sesame seed grounds and was very gritty. It didn't seem mixed well and was honestly hard to drink. The staff was friendly but also felt a bit distant at the same time. Service wasn't rude, but it didn't feel especially warm or welcoming either, almost like they didn't really want you to be there. Parking can be a little tricky right out front, but there are usually plenty of spots available in the main strip mall area nearby Trader Joe's. Overall, it's clear this place is very popular and busy, and I may have just caught it on an off day. Decent space and lots of options, but the drink and service didn't fully win me over on this visit.

Ethan also showed me some resources to help research cards and synergies and start deckbuilding which was soooo helpful and really makes the game a lot more approachable than I had initially thought it might be. Also grabbed a coffee while I was here--my americano was reasonably priced, the espresso was great, and the barista, whose name I didn't catch, was super friendly! Lots of tables and space to sit--they were running a Commander event while I stopped in but during a non-event time I can see it being a great spot to hang out and casually play with friends, or even just sit and do some work if I'm in the area. Excited to come back next weekend to actually play here!

Great first visit to Basecamp Coffee!…read more The staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly. They walked me through the menu and explained all of their coffee selections. I loved that they had hot, iced, and seasonal coffee options. There were also seasonal flight options; however, I opted for an iced latte. They also offer punch cards, which I loved and happened to luck out with--the customer before me won a free coffee and decided to gift it to the next customer, which ended up being me. The space is huge! It's shared with the brewing company next door, so both the coffee shop and brewery seating areas are open for the public to enjoy. Whether you're there to work or meet up with friends, there's plenty of space to hang out. While I waited for my coffee, I scoped out the merch area, which was filled with goodies made by local vendors. I purchased my first reusable sleeve, which turned out to be the ideal solution for my iced latte. I was immediately able to put it to the test and was happy to report that I was satisfied with both my latte and my sleeve! Looking forward to try out at coffee flight at my next visit!
