Drink sizes, assorted drinks, pasties & bakery items!

A busy, but great and cozy little coffee shop creating specialty crafted coffees, teas, and other drinks, as well as delicious breakfast and lunch bites. This was my first visit, but it was visibly very popular as every table was full. The attendant at the counter was absolutely delightful. She recommended her favorite latte, and that's precisely what I went with: a Blueberry Iced Latte. My first time trying one and it did not disappoint ;) The blueberry syrup is strong, so if you're not a big blueberry fan, this might not be your jam. I went for their "Healthy choice" breakfast sandwich, which consisted of a fried egg, roasted tomatoes, and onions (I asked them to 86 my onions), Swiss cheese, and sliced turkey deli, warmed between two multigrain toasts that had a pesto sauce smeared on each slice in place of butter. It was savory, juicy, slightly sweet, and full of flavor--a filling morning bite which paired perfectly with my Blueberry latte. The vibes at this location are verrrrry casual, but their focus is on serving good coffee. They were pretty busy, and I did have a slight wait --primarily for my meal --but I would revisit, as everything, including the sandwiches, is made fresh, which makes all the difference in quality and flavor. It appears they are trying to address that by hiring more staff. All in all, Blackwater Coffee & Cafe had all the elements I appreciated in a first visit to a new coffee shop: good customer service, and a wide selection of drinks and bites.

Visited in a late Monday morning after looking for a new coffee shop to check out on the way to a playground with my kids. The shop itself is pretty standard and kind of tucked into the corner of a strip mall. Might not be a bad place to do some work if you live in the area. I got an ice coffee which was actually not bad at all. So why only 3 stars. The drip coffee my wife got tasted little different than gas station. Unfortunately. Now I do know as my wife says I'm am coffee snob. But I really hope for better at these places. I'm sure the lattes and such are good though if that's your thing.

I walked in on a Tuesday around 3:45pm and only had one customer in front of me. I read they make their chai syrup in house so I knew I needed to try it. My drink was SO delicious!! I wish there was a Blackwater closer to Shakopee so I could get it more often. I got the iced Maple Cinnamon Cream Chai to-go and highly recommend you stop by to grab one too!

A cute suburb coffee shop! It was busy the whole time we worked remotely from there. Loved that they have milk tea, coffee, and food options. The tonka latte was pretty good. The wifi worked well and there were plenty of tables and nook areas for working or chatting.

I got a sesame oat matcha! it was definitely something I have never had before but it was very good! The staff were very friendly and helpful when asking about different options! There was a lot of space in the building to do work as well as outside space!

This place is a gem in an area of the twin cities without many local coffee shops. Some things I love about it: - friendly smiling service -free parking lot right outside - cleanliness -variety of the menu You can get anything from a hot coffee to a bubble tea here and both are equally as good. I haven't tried to food yet but looks like a great menu. There were multiple places with an outlet if needed. My favorite spot is next to the fireplace in the armchairs or right by the window in their booths.

I grew up going to the Maple Plain location, and I was really excited to check out this one today. The coffee was good, and the interior ambiance was nice. Service was also fast and friendly. I would certainly recommend checking this location out! It's got a nice modern feel while still incorporating a fireplace to add a a little bit of Caribou style to it.

Wanted to introduce some family visiting from Chicago to my Lady Friend. She asked if I had been to Blackwater. When it was a different chain a few years ago I had gone a few times but not to the new place. We agreed to check it out. First the gentleman behind the counter was very professional. He made up three Chai latte for the rels and my girl. For me I got an iced coffee. Secondly I noticed on the wall some very sophisticated menu items for any restaurant. Surprising for a coffee shop. I will come back soon with a few friends and sample the food items because it looks so good. As per the Chai and the iced coffee? They were very good.

I popped in here for a quick coffee to get some work done and enjoy a nice cup of coffee. Loved the coffee menu and that they provide the WiFi password at checkout easy for you to grab it before you get seated. Good coffee spot.

After dropping my son off to work I needed to do a Trader Joe's run. But first coffee. Blackwater is in the same area as TJ's so it was perfect to pop in and grab some morning java. I ordered the turtle mocha and it was tasty. Service was fast and they had matcha and tea as well. They had plenty of parking and lots of tables for seating.

I've been to Blackwater 4 times now since I'm frequently in the area and I've had great experiences every time! The 2 baristas I've talked to have been helpful with drink recommendations that I've enjoyed, the seats by the fireplace are comfy, and there are a lot of outlets for when I've wanted to do some work there. I like their big mural and the plants too. Drinks I've tried and enjoyed: iced tanka latte, blackwater sesame, and the dirty chai

Stopped in to meet a friend for coffee and was pleasantly surprised! We got breakfast sandwiches and coffee. I was also impressed with the price of everything. The sandwich was so tasty but didn't break the bank. It was definitely a busier time I went at but still felt quiet and lots of room to sit. Both my friend and I decided this will be our new coffee shop to meet at! The staff was very knowledgeable about the gluten free options.

Almond milk latte with sugar free vanilla

This is a great coffee shop to get work done, plenty of seats and free water. I got a sugar free almond milk latte, and the sugar free vanilla did not taste good. I will have to try a different flavor next time because it tasted way too artificial.

During my visit, I ordered a harvest latte with almond milk and an egg, and cheese croissant. I'll start with the win: the latte. It was thoughtful, balanced, and the clear highlight of the visit -- easily the reason I'd return. The croissant didn't stand out as much. It's premade and reheated in the microwave, which is not my personal favorite. The sandwiches taste fresh, and they are handed to you warm, but I wouldn't come back specifically for breakfast. Even though I stopped in on a busy Sunday morning, the wait was short, which I appreciated. The service felt a bit reserved. It wasn't unfriendly, just not especially warm. That might have been because of the steady rush, not a lack of care. Overall, it's a good coffee shop. I wouldn't take it off my list; the prices are fair, and the coffee is good.

Great first visit to Basecamp Coffee!…read more The staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly. They walked me through the menu and explained all of their coffee selections. I loved that they had hot, iced, and seasonal coffee options. There were also seasonal flight options; however, I opted for an iced latte. They also offer punch cards, which I loved and happened to luck out with--the customer before me won a free coffee and decided to gift it to the next customer, which ended up being me. The space is huge! It's shared with the brewing company next door, so both the coffee shop and brewery seating areas are open for the public to enjoy. Whether you're there to work or meet up with friends, there's plenty of space to hang out. While I waited for my coffee, I scoped out the merch area, which was filled with goodies made by local vendors. I purchased my first reusable sleeve, which turned out to be the ideal solution for my iced latte. I was immediately able to put it to the test and was happy to report that I was satisfied with both my latte and my sleeve! Looking forward to try out at coffee flight at my next visit!

How leadership handles customer complaints will tell you everything you need to know about a brand…read more After "certified" groomer Kait Carlson injured our dog in 2 areas, never communicated this to us at pick up, (as I was later informed she should have,) our labradoodle developed an infection that led to $700+ additional vet visits/meds/supplies...(not to mention, by the looks and smell of it, we questioned if he'd even been shampooed at all on groom day). This happened in July, and I have been trying since then to have them meet me at least halfway with the expenses. However, after multiple attempts to address this and sending them my invoices, the Brew Park manager assured me that her upper leadership was still looking into things, but that there had been a "death in the family." I can respect a family loss and was patient, but after subsequent follow ups, I was given the same excuse each time, and never heard a word from "leadership". I followed up again last week, and finally heard from Jake Henninger (Director of Business and Staff Development,) 6 months after the fact, and the excuses abounded.....yes sorry, actually we had 2 deaths in the family, and oh, sorry we never got your (multiple) messages from the manager and by the way she doesn't work here anymore (convenient), and finally, the groomer just contracts with us (therefore, not really our problem). I explained that the services of their 3rd party/contracted affiliates are under their brand, but he didn't seem to care. Last week he said he'd agree to pay for the first vet visit ($130,) and I said I would also at least like a full refund for the grooming services plus tip ($200)... In total, this would be $330. He agreed to get back to me on "Monday" this week, after speaking to their groomer. He did not. So I followed up today and was met with more excuses (was waiting to receive the invoices from the vet, because they weren't attachments I could open...even though he was reading the invoices to me last week). Then, he tells me they will refund me $250. I told him this is not we'd discussed last week and asked him several times if he'd even spoken to the groomer but he refused to answer me. This is not even 50% of my out-of-pocket costs. Actually, the grooming service with the vet costs would be $900+! I can assure you, if you look at this place, they are making hand over fist. I let them know from the beginning I'm not "trying to get rich," off of this, but am asking for reasonable reimbursement. Yet in spite of them causing the issue, neglecting to tell me about the injuries, ignoring me for 6 months and blaming everyone and everything else, I've declined their offer and will be pursuing this in small claims court. A lot of unnecessary time wasted. Am I the only one, or does it seem like "customer service" has taken a complete nosedive since Covid? So disappointing.
