This is a very nerdy gaming area/coffee shop. The employees are very friendly, the service is quick. They have lots of big tables, good lighting, snacks for sale, games for sale. It is right by Hopkins North Junior high in my 13-year-old and his friends love it there. They have themed gaming nights every day of the week. Try it, you might like it!

Tried out this coffee shop after seeing such great reviews. Ordered an iced americano and a dirty chai. The iced americano tasted horrible - like dirty water. Looked horrible too. The dirty chai tasted like regular tea - not like chai and had no espresso flavor. Super disappointed.

Stopped in for a coffee while one of my kids was at a lesson. Great place for coffee they have good depth charges and standard coffee all from a local roaster that does just their coffee and a couple other places. They have a lot of fun games I'll be back to try their games it's well lit and very clean. I think they're gonna be putting in a bike stop where you can lock up bikes there in a very nice area for local bikers close to Penn cycle and I'm sure I will stop there on a training ride sometime once they get a bike set up in.

Very good coffee! Much better than your typical Caribou or Starbucks. The latte art was a very nice touch

There is plenty of space to play board games or spread out and work. The wifi worked well. The service was quick and the staff was friendly!

The space itself looks like an older Caribou location that's been renovated, with a casual vibe and plenty of seating options. They also offer food like breakfast items and sandwiches, which is a plus. The coffee was just fine overall, but the sesame latte was a miss for me. It tasted like straight sesame seed grounds and was very gritty. It didn't seem mixed well and was honestly hard to drink. The staff was friendly but also felt a bit distant at the same time. Service wasn't rude, but it didn't feel especially warm or welcoming either, almost like they didn't really want you to be there. Parking can be a little tricky right out front, but there are usually plenty of spots available in the main strip mall area nearby Trader Joe's. Overall, it's clear this place is very popular and busy, and I may have just caught it on an off day. Decent space and lots of options, but the drink and service didn't fully win me over on this visit.

Great first visit to Basecamp Coffee!…read more The staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly. They walked me through the menu and explained all of their coffee selections. I loved that they had hot, iced, and seasonal coffee options. There were also seasonal flight options; however, I opted for an iced latte. They also offer punch cards, which I loved and happened to luck out with--the customer before me won a free coffee and decided to gift it to the next customer, which ended up being me. The space is huge! It's shared with the brewing company next door, so both the coffee shop and brewery seating areas are open for the public to enjoy. Whether you're there to work or meet up with friends, there's plenty of space to hang out. While I waited for my coffee, I scoped out the merch area, which was filled with goodies made by local vendors. I purchased my first reusable sleeve, which turned out to be the ideal solution for my iced latte. I was immediately able to put it to the test and was happy to report that I was satisfied with both my latte and my sleeve! Looking forward to try out at coffee flight at my next visit!

Slightly eclectic throw-back vibe, very friendly service, excellent espresso beverages, and a nice assortment of creative wraps and sandwiches (alongside other food items). It's a nice place to spend an hour or two catching up on emails, though it can be busy (and a bit noisy) at certain times of the day. Parking is easy, with a dedicated lot out back and free two-hour street parking out front. One random noteworthy thing is that they have the nicest take-out coffee cups I've seen anywhere (see photo), with a sturdy design that makes it a pleasure to hold while also providing extra insulation. It's a small thing, but it's actually the first thing that comes to mind when I think of Munkabeans!

When I entered inside, not a whole lot customers inside but I came in the early afternoon. Baristas were helpful. Prices were reasonable on the menu and they had your standard typical coffee drinks with flavored syrups if you like to add it. I asked the barista what his favorite drink was, and he recommended a honey latte with something else added into it that I forgot what it was. I decided to give it a try and it was pretty delicious. Sweet but not very sweet. Definitely tasted the honey. The quality of the drink was good, and service was quick. Lots of seating and local art. Nice place if you're in Hopkins

I had to think when growing up it may have been considered some kind of sin to suggest serving coffee and light food in a church. "John how dare you spew blasphemy", Sister Mary Francis would say. A very friendly setting that is uber clean. There was a cleaner working while I was there and then someone came from the elevator with more cleaning equipment. I saw a nice display of pastries but tried the pre made sandwich which was still fresh. They feature a light and dark roast in the standard three sizes. The dark roast, which the barista suggested, had a deep roasted flavor with a non-acidic aftertaste. They asked if I would wait while they made a fresh brew for me, and I was glad to have the drink minutes fresh. As great as the product was the attraction is the airy, arty walls and soft lighting for a relaxing almost, shall we say, spiritual awakening. Ok a bit of hyperbole.
