The Lobby was the closest non-corporate chain shop nearby so I gave em a shot. 4 drinks, 1 iced latte and 3 cold brews, and not a hint of coffee was to be tasted among them, just watered down water, with dairy. I cannot stress enough the complete lack of coffee in our coffee. We were not served coffee, it was lightly-tinted water, with dairy. None of us finished our drinks, and we're all coffee addicts who needed a fix. that's how dire the situation. I'm impressed by this accomplishment by The Lobby and applaud them for achieving such a bold ranking in my life's experience. The two young women running the place today were warm, efficient, and a pleasure to be served by. I hope they get to drink coffee when theyre not at their water shop job.

The coffee flight was $20, which felt pretty steep to me. I was expecting something closer to $10-$12. I also would have preferred smaller sample sizes at a lower price. Plan to share the flight with a friend!! Of the four, the only one I absolutely loved was the iced maple latte. Next time, I'd probably just order that! The coffee shop is connected to a brewery, and the two spaces are open to each other, so it smells like beer inside, not coffee. On the plus side, there's lots of seating. The special thing about this location is that they serve Taiwanese street food, my go to is the popcorn chicken- you get a choice of original, spicy, garlic, curry or Cajun- I always get a mix of the garlic and spicy, have yet to try the other flavors. Be forewarned, spicy is actually spicy, so ask for less spicy if you just want a kick. It comes in a paper bag, similar to what one would get when ordering mini donuts but with popcorn chicken, 2 skewers to jab a piece of chicken with. I always ask for a little bag to put my chicken in so I can easily hold it, eat it while drinking my boba and walking. It's really meant to be the "street food" experience. The $5 "small" is a substantial enough size for most people. I've come in often enough that I decided to buy the giant tumbler that they'll refill for $5. It's a high-quality tumbler! Stuff stays cold in there for like a day.
