I've seen great reviews for BlueNose Coffee so I had to check it out! They had a drive thru but I…read morewent inside to order. They have a cozy atmosphere and is a nice spot to enjoy a morning drink. I ordered a blue nose mocha and a believin' berry buzz dirty soda along with a blueberry scone. The scone was subtly sweet and pretty dense. It was a great choice of bakery item. The mocha was super sweet. It almost tasted more like a latte than a mocha. The sugary flavors drown out the espresso bitterness. I'd order something else next time since the sugar rush was a lot. Since Farmington has been known to consume the most Mountain Dew per capita in the US I ordered a Mountain Dew based dirty soda. With all the added flavors of this drink I kind of forgot it was Mountain Dew. Like everything else this was a super sugary drink but was nice to try due to the novelty of the drink.

I finally decided to stop in for an early coffee and breakfast. They have a display case next to the register offering bakery items and sandwiches. The bakery items looked great, but I was in the mood for something more filling, so I ordered the Turkey Bacon Apple sandwich. For my drink, I chose the hot Bananas Foster Latte with an extra shot of espresso. The coffee was pretty good and came out quickly. It wasn't mind-blowing, but I enjoyed it. The sandwich was also good, though nothing particularly special--it was a fairly standard turkey sandwich. The vibe of the café is nice, with plenty of tables and cute décor. The service was great as well; the person who took my order was very friendly and welcoming. While this isn't a place I'm rushing back to, I would return to try some of the bakery items or one of their "dirty sodas," which I thought was an interesting addition to the menu.

We specifically like getting hot queso, guaca, and Tinga from the deli. They can also make you taco and other items for lunch/dinner right at the deli. It's all delicious! My only two complaints are: the deli ordering area itself is awkward to order from. The second there's more than 2 people, it feels crowded and uncomfortable. It's also right next to their house chips and salsa, which are popular items. Maybe they should move them to a place that's not so crowded and busy. Overall the deli ordering area is a massive layout issue. The self-checkouts are also almost never on. It's really annoying. They are right there, but almost never usable. If they aren't going to let me use them, they should just remove them. If would actually be the perfect area to give more space when ordering at the deli. Would solve the layout issue. Overall: go here and get their house chips, tres leches cake towards the back, and some deli items/meals. But be prepared for an awkward layout at the deli, if it's even a little busy.

Their hot food bar is worth trying as they have many tasty meat and side options that are ready to eat. They make tortillas fresh daily which pair nicely with the meats. They also have plenty of grocery options and baked goods to add to your cart. If you are someone who likes to cook vs buying hot and ready, they have a great meat counter and cold options. This bodega is a must try if you are in the area!

My rating is 3.5 stars. I'm rounding down…read more I found Cupcake Bakery when I went to Mason Jar Kitchen to pick up a takeout order. Both businesses have the same entrance. Cupcake is located in a large plaza. You can't miss the signage of a huge cupcake in blue and pink. I parked in one of the curbside pickup spots. I was picking up a takeout order and felt that it was fine. While waiting for a nice woman to fetch my order, I was looking at the desserts. This place has ice cream, macarons, and lots of baked goods. The chocolate croissant caught my attention. I knew that I needed to get one. When the woman returned with my Mason Jar Kitchen order, I asked if I could get the chocolate croissant. Yes! She got me one and placed it in a paper bag. I paid with a credit card. I also managed to include a tip. It was straightforward. I thanked the woman and headed back to the hotel to have lunch. I had the chocolate croissant as an afternoon snack. The croissant was okay. It was buttery, but it wasn't as flaky has I had hoped. It was more dense like a paperweight. I wanted flaky and airy. The chocolate was yummy. I prefer dark chocolate and loved it. I feel the need to go back and consume more items. The cakes and cheesecakes looked yummy. I was too early to take advantage of 50% off all pastries after 3 pm. I need to come back after this time and see if I can find a pastry that wows me. (459)
