I had a delicious fruit smoothie made with fresh peach and mango (choose your flavor). No dairy in the smoothie. The owner was genuinely a nice spirit. Based on the decor, I inquired if he was Italian, and he informed me that no, he's Lebanese He also informed me that he has a couple of vegan sandwich options. I've only been there a couple times, but the Pastrami sandwich was very good, with lots of meat and fresh tomatoes. I enjoy the intimate and independent feel of the place, in a town that's not on a freeway or anywhere you might find yourself without trying. read more

What an amazing slice of Heaven. This small proprietor is a family Ron business that makes most everything from scratch. They have fresh deli sandwiches that have fresh and healthy ingredients. Morning Glory's Bakery Cafe is one of the best small business cafes around my local area. I have been going here since I found out about them 7 years ago. Recently visited after a long span of not eating out much (per COVID) and celebrated by bringing my husband here for lunch. He has never been here before and is quite the picky eater. I have raved about this place though so his expectations were set high. After reviewing the menu he decided to go with the lunch box special (such a great deal!). With this you get a wrap or sandwich, choice of soup or house salad, and 1/2 a dessert bar for $9.99. He ordered the Gyros wrap with lamb meat (his choice but can get beef too), tomatoes, marinated red onions, lettuce & Tzatziki sauce. For the soup they only had one option available since they ran out of the other - and that was Chicken Tortilla. The desert bar he chose the 7-layer bar. We only had to wait about 5 minutes for them to put together the lunch box - super speedy staff! We ended up getting drinks as well- I got an Americano coffee (delicious!) and my husband got a Strawberry Peach smoothie. I thought it was really nice that they let him choose two flavors to mix in the smoothie since he was so indecisive. Once we got the food my husband couldn't believe how large the wrap was and how much meat they put in it. Was SO good - if you love gyros I'd recommend trying the gyros wrap here!! My husband isn't the biggest soup fan so I was excited to try the Chicken Tortilla, which was absolutely delicious. I have never had this flavor soup as tasty as theirs and what I especially love is the amount of healthy veggies they put in it and the chicken which is so soft and fresh in this soup. They also threw into the lunch box fried homemade tortilla strips as the soup topper - bonus!! The dessert bar was fabulous too. 7-later bars have always been one of my favorites since youth. The only negative is that they only serve half a dessert bar in the lunch boxes (which is great for health and portion control) but from the view of how delicious and fast you'll end up eating the dessert you'll wish you had a full dessert slice. All in all, every time I've visited here I've never been let down. My husband (remember he's very picky!) rated this visit a 10 out of 10. I'm biased - it will always be a 10 for me . I encourage you to visit here when you have a day off work or on the weekend if you take a drive or want to stop by a quaint cafe and support small business. You won't be sorry you did!! read more

I absolutely love Morning Glory's! They have the best bakery items - I especially love their caramel rolls. On the drink menu, I love their Iced Blended Vanilla Latte. I love the almost cottage-like atmosphere and local charm. The prices are reasonable and on-par with other cafes. I had a great first experience at Morning Glory's Bakery and Cafe for lunch and will definitely be back again. It's a small and quiet space. The staff (owner?) was very attentive and great. I ordered the soup and salad special with the Mushroom Brie soup and veggie Greek salad. The soup was very good. Not a strong Brie taste but I liked it. My parents went with me and my Dad got the Gyro and was pleased with that. My Mom got Chicken wild rice soup and liked that as well. We also got a box of baked goods to take home like eclairs, 7 layer bars and lemon poppyseed muffins. Everything has been delicious. Morning Glory's is a small establishment in downtown Rosemount. They have really good soup and sandwiches. My wife loves the chicken wild rice soup. They always have that, a chicken tortilla soup, and then they also have another soup that changes weekly. I have never gotten coffee from here but they do have many different coffee drinks to choose from. They also offer a variety of pastries/bars. Overall, this is a great spot to grab a quick lunch in Rosemount. It is nice to see a business that isn't a chain restaurant. read more

Fresh is the name of the game here and everything from their wondrous baguettes that they make their sandwiches with to their delicious salads. There are so many people, that don't live in Rosemount, visit this place on their way through. I always get the Italian Club without the onions. The only issue that I do have is that when you bite into the sandwich the meat tends to fall out. I think maybe sandwich staples would be a good idea to keep the goodness inside :) read more

Yesterday was my first actual trip to Morning Glory's. Many years ago I tried out the cran-nut wrap at the old gelato place off Cliff Road (no longer there) and fell in love. It's been several years since I had one, but I made the special trek down to Rosemount just for the wrap. Of course I got one for yesterday and one to-go, for today! Friendly staff, quaint place. Prices are really quite low. Wish I lived closer to make more frequent visits. The cran-nut wrap has a cranberry spread, some toasted walnuts, chicken, and a saffron sauce, all wrapped up with lettuce in a whole wheat wrap. It can also be made into a salad. They have several types of salads/wraps/sandwiches, dessert bars, ice cream, smoothies, coffee, and tea. Support this cute little cafe! read more

I have stopped in twice, each time there is very little variety. The first time I got there in late morning, and there was very little to choose from. The guy waiting on me suggested I come earlier, that most pastries were sold out. The second time they had just opened and they had cinnamon rolls, eclairs and cookies. I thought it was a bakery! I had the oriental chicken wrap and my husband had the Italian sub. Both were very good! The sauce in the wrap was really tasty. I liked the crunchy noodles in it too. The hoagie the sub came on was nice and chewy on the outside, soft in the middle. I'd go back for sure! read more

I have absolutely no complaints about Morning Glory's Bakery Cafe. The family owned small town feel of the restaurant is incredibly endearing and the food is up to par with the aesthetic. My favorite order I get on my occasional visits to the cafe go as follows. A pastrami wrap, half of a seven layer bar, and whatever soup the owners are cooking on that particular day. If I'm feeling it, I can add a can of pop for only fifty cents (a steal deal for small town "aesthetic cafes" that can often get pricey to compensate for the interior.) As I ate my meal and comforting instrumental music filled my ears, I felt truly happy. As if the wonderful food and aesthetic did not convince you, the agreeable prices will. The meal that I mentioned above cost me less than ten dollars, significantly less than other large chain restaurants such as Subway or Jimmy Johns would cost. I have also on many occasions had some of their exquisite homemade bakery goods. The caramel rolls, in particular, can truly make a morning "glorious" (see what I did there?) In conclusion, I full-heartedly recommend the small town family owned cafe that never deep fries their food and always serves it fresh. read more

This place is so yummy! I tried their chipotle chicken, cran-nut chicken and gyro wrap. All have been delicious! Ingredients are fresh! I've also had the creamy chicken wild rice a few times and every time it's delicious and you can tell its homemade. I usually go for the lunchbox combo and get a wrap and soup with a delicious half bar. Never been disappointed! And it's a lot of food for a good price. I'll keep coming back! read more

I was really looking forward to a delicious lunch given all of the great reviews here, so I was really disappointed this past Saturday. Ordered the Chipotle Chicken Salad and while the few pieces of lettuce (maybe one leaf of romaine cut into 1" pieces) were crisp and fresh, the "chicken" was so bad I only ate half of one strip and threw the rest away. I'd been expecting a grilled chicken breast cut into strips on top of the salad. What I got was "chicken product", which is pressed together from smaller pieces and the grill marks artificially applied. Most of my strips had gristle or skin pieces, and the texture of the one piece I tried was not meat-like at all. The skin and gristle would have been quite visible as they were assembling the salad. Please, please get a new supplier for the "chicken". Oh - and they were out of most of the baked goods at a very early lunch time (before 11am). There was a parade in town, so I would have thought they'd bake extra in advance of the event. read more
