I frequent Caribou quite a bit at many of their locations. This location in particular is one of my favorites as it is easily accessible and the staff has ALWAYS been super friendly. Other locations are friendly, but there is something about this location that just is a notch above the others. Either way, no matter which location you visit/frequent, beats the hell out of any other "coffee shop" that isn't your local "mom & pop" shop. Plus, their cup sleeves typically have some snazzy saying on it. Support Minnesota's own!!!

We come here quite a bit. My wife is the crazy coffee/caffeine nut. I am usually the chauffeur. I will get something more refreshing usually. My wife likes their coffee and I like some of the cold drinks like the cold coffees and fruit fusion drinks. The staff are normally fast, friendly and helpful. I also like to get some of their small sandwiches when in a hurry. They aren't bad,but not great either. Fair prices on the food. I think the coffee is over priced.

I love Caribou! I'm in the South metro for a baseball tournament and I need coffee! I don't even have to think because I know my order. Same great stuff, good quality. Busy spot between the drive through and even inside. Two of the employees were super sweet and efficient. The manager (I assume) has one of those gruff voices so I thought I was in trouble, but she was just asking if it was for here or to go. What is with all the high top chairs in here? It's not a bar. They really aren't that comfortable. I'm sure couches aren't fun to clean, but the new Bou by me has them and they are awesome and comfy! I was also confused and couldn't find the accoutrements. You know, where the cream, sugar, napkins, etc. are. I looked and looked and had to end up asking for napkins to go with my egg sammie. The other odd thing with this location is the drive through window is on one wall and the drink making area is on the other wall. So to walk to the bathrooms/back of the space you walk between where they grab the to go stuff to take to the drive through window. It's also where you pick up your drink order. So watch it! It's an extra busy area! It is Caribou, so if ever I'm in this neck of the woods again I'll probably swing through the drive through. Bou baby!

Seems like good staff(ordered through app). Drinks tasted like water and just milk for an iced chai latte... could have been better.

This location needs a refresher on ADA rights. Service dogs are not required to wear vests. The employee was a tad bit rude.

Minimally, I hear them ask me to clarify my drink order, but most of the time, they catch every single part of my order with no hesitation.

This place is great!…read more We stopped by on a Tuesday morning, and I was surprised by how large the inside was. It's not gigantic, but I was expecting it to be much smaller based on what I had heard about the place. I ordered the Waffle Latte and absolutely loved it. I would definitely get it again. My wife ordered an iced mocha with an extra shot, and she really enjoyed hers as well. We also decided to try a white chocolate raspberry scone. My wife loved it. I thought it was good, but not quite great. We also ordered a garlic bagel with cream cheese. I really liked that and would potentially order it again, although next time I may try a plain bagel just for comparison. The staff was super nice. They genuinely seemed happy to be there, which is honestly a bit surprising these days when it comes to customer service. The positive attitude definitely added to the experience. Overall, I really don't have much negative to say. Sure, it's a little pricey, but I feel like I say that in almost every review nowadays. Food and drinks outside the house are just stupid expensive these days, so compared to other coffee shops, the pricing here felt relatively fair. Yeah, I don't know. I really don't have many complaints. Great drinks, friendly staff, and a nice atmosphere. I'm giving them 5 out of 5 stars, and I'll definitely be back.

They have a cozy atmosphere and is a nice spot to enjoy a morning drink. I ordered a blue nose mocha and a believin' berry buzz dirty soda along with a blueberry scone. The scone was subtly sweet and pretty dense. It was a great choice of bakery item. The mocha was super sweet. It almost tasted more like a latte than a mocha. The sugary flavors drown out the espresso bitterness. I'd order something else next time since the sugar rush was a lot. Since Farmington has been known to consume the most Mountain Dew per capita in the US I ordered a Mountain Dew based dirty soda. With all the added flavors of this drink I kind of forgot it was Mountain Dew. Like everything else this was a super sugary drink but was nice to try due to the novelty of the drink.

On my last grocery run, I was lucky enough to find gluten-free vanilla extract for some sweet baked goods, a great selection of Pinot Grigio and Sauvignon Blanc wines, and several varieties of dilled crudités (in jars in kosher/ condiment aisles) to lay out with cheeses for a small soirée I threw together. All I needed to add was the Gavin DeGraw music and the palettes were contented that afternoon :) Cheers to Byerly's!

My quintessential breakfast item is eggs Benedict and cappuccino- this is how I begin my evaluation of good food. So it was a toss up between The Better Half and the Lakeville Brewing Co which share the same parking lot. AI told me to go to Lakeville Brewing for the Benedict if I expect it to be done right. However it said The Better half will have way better cappuccino. Entryway into The Better Half was nice . The ambiance reminded me of High Hat on Selby on Cathedral Hill in St Paul. However the warmth wasn't there at The Better Half. The big bar had a few people sitting there, bartender looked at us but didn't say anything. No welcome - no smile nothing. No host at the front door- there was only a sign saying "please wait to be seated". We stood there for about two minutes until someone came from the back to seat us. Our server was a different person, she seemed warm and personable. They should put her in charge as hostess. First impressions are everything. Also train the bartender to be talkative, that's usually why people go to bars- they know at least the bartender will be friendly. Cappuccino was decent and good sized, no complaints there. The Benedicts were executed poorly. The eggs were hard boiled on both dishes. Hollandaise was thick, tasteless and slopped all over the plate. It didn't look appetizing - we had to send it back. With that said the ham was a good thick slice and the potatoes were fried up well. But there was nothing special about the potatoes. Due to poor execution of the eggs Benedict and hollandaise, coupled with the stoic bartender who was unwelcoming- I'd have to give this place a 1.5 star. It's unfortunate since I want to cheer for the small town restaurants. There's so much they could offer in personal touch and experience. Unfortunately this experience left us feeling like "if this is the better half, then I don't want meet the other half." Management needs to step up their game, it's not fair to the workers to let guests start off with a poor experience and then have the food quality continue to degrade the experience. The server never gets a chance to earn a great tip because the bartender, lack of host greeting and poor execution of food overshadows the server who was trying her best. We tipped her well anyway but this is why the lengthy review.. For a breakfast place you gotta get your eggs right. That's 101 cooking.

You talk to the front desk, and they'll tell you there's an hour wait if you don't have a reservation. You look around and see open tables. You think: "that's odd". You check on the website and it says you can get a reservation for 15, 30, and 45 minutes from now. You select a reservation for 15 minutes from now, and magically there isn't an hour wait for you anymore. You note the still open tables and the line not moving. The restaurant is very loud. They're doing late 2010's industrial chic with not a soft surface in site and garage doors, so everybody's conversation bounces around indefinitely. You wait a while for a server to come. I find the way the food looks when it arrives is always different than the way it sounds when you read the menu - sometimes for better, and sometimes for worse. The coffee and bar menu is pretty decent for a brunch place. Prices are on the high end, though some are more reasonable than others. Then you get hit with a 3% credit card fee which isn't adequately disclosed on the menu or when you enter the restaurant.
