Hudson is a bit lacking with breakfast spots. We were doing a girls day and my daughter wanted pancakes. Keys it is! When we arrived on mid-morning on a Saturday, it was a 25 minute wait. Not terrible. We were seated in a comfy booth and greeted warmly by our server. My sister ordered an omelet and a single pancake, daughter got a pancake and bacon kids meal, and I ordered the corned beef hash with eggs. Both the omelet and hash came with choice of a carby delight. It understandably took awhile for our food to arrive but when it did it was fresh and hot, with the exception of the hash. Note that the beef was shredded, long shards, not diced and tender pieces. It was tasty, if not a bit salty. The eggs were cooked perfectly and the homemade jam they served with the toast was yummy. The bacon with my kiddo's meal wasn't as crispy as she's used to, so she didn't end up finishing that. The omelet was liked but sis was surprised that it didn't come with potatoes, so she ordered a side (which were crisp and good). The star was clearly the pancakes, which were slightly crisp along the edges and had the perfect buttery sweetness. We paid up at the counter and it looked like they have an incredible little bakery section there, tempting us. We would stop in another time not to eat in, but to grab baked goodies to-go.

Best Breakfast in Hudson! I love the omelets and the Homemade Bread toast, my coffee never gets cold and the service is great! And now with a Full Bar I think I might have a favorite new Dinner Spot too!

Very pleasant diner atmosphere with friendly staff (thanks Heather!) and great food. I had a Monte Cristo and the ham was a nice thick sliced version with chunks of Thanksgiving quality turkey as well. Crinkle fries as the side; They come seasoned. Couldn't ask for a better place to hang out on a Saturday afternoon.

Stumbled upon this place while on a road trip! Breakfast was awesome and fresh - clearly made from scratch - even homemade bread! Best part....baked goods to go...cookies, cheesecake, pies!

Great food and large portions at a reasonable price - 5 stars! What a great place! I wish I had a Keys location close to my home. I'd definitely be a regular weekly customer. I still think my favorite Keys location is the first one - St. Paul on Raymond Avenue. And I tried one a few years ago in the north Twin Cities Metro and I was underwhelmed & disappointed. But the Hudson location is a big step above. I don't hand out many 5 star reviews. But this Keys deserves it. We could have had lunch or dinner. But we both went with breakfasts along with pastries for dessert. Wow - awesome! And the prices didn't break the bank either, very reasonable. Our service was first rate too. BTW, this location serves beer & wine. The décor is pretty nice too. Check out my photos. Our server screwed up my Mexican Omelet and forgot the chili & the salsa. Like a dork, I put my jelly on top, thinking it was salsa. Yuck! Our server was incredible. She more than made up for the mistake. She gave me a completely new omelet to take home and she comp'ed them. So I got both omelets for free. Everyone makes mistakes and she MORE than made up for it. That's the way good customer service is done. I'm definitely a big fan of Keys in Hudson. Thumbs up! -Daddy Maxx Retro

Was charged full price & received only this. 3rd time this has happened @ Keys when ordering to go.

Such cute cupcakes and cake pops hand decorated. The staff was helpful with answering questions and brought the Midwest kindness. Note that if you are vegan or lactose intolerant, this may not be the spot for you (understandably). We ordered: Pesto parm focaccia: incredible! We sliced and served it with an Italian meal and an olive oil dipping sauce and it was the highlight. Soft, fluffy, and flavorful. -bbq bacon biscuit sandwiches: very good! You can get them to heat them in their oven for you or you do it at home. Just a slight sweetness and hint of BBQ, which seems to have coated the crisp bacon. The biscuit is buttery, fluffy, and perfectly crumbly. Monster cookies: the kids loved these. They are PB oatmeal cookies with M&Ms. great taste, but I wish they were softer rather than crunchy. -Cinnamon roll: the roll itself was huge and very soft. We wished there had been more of the cinnamon/sugar filling in it. However, the frosting was to die for! Just a hint of cream cheese, great consistency (not too thin or thick), and not overwhelmingly sweet. This spot was pricey, but with food costs, it likely needs to be for them to function. Always happy to support great local spots.

As I went toward the checkouts, I saw the spices and herbs section. I was thrilled to find celery flakes available, and for a reasonable cost! That ingredient is weirdly hard to find around the region. I went to the self check-outs. One of my cheeses had a smeared barcode that wouldn't scan. I hit the "help" button on the screen, and a checker immediately came over to manually input that item. While I was in the grocery side, my husband checked out the liquor store. He bought a number of beers to take home, including some that were new to him. We were both quite pleased with our shopping experience here and would stop in again on another trip to Hudson.

I had to dig through to find produce that wasn't bad. Fruit was the same. I didn't end up purchasing any fruit or veggies because I wanted to use them throughout the week and they would have been bad the next day. That also made me a little hesitant to buy meat if the produce is so bad. They do have some good sales on items and maybe those items will be fresher as they go through them quicker? But to find moldy carrots, cucumbers, tomatoes, mushrooms, cauliflower and broccoli in a row...wouldn't recommend!
