4 stars all the way! Crumbl Cookies is a great place. We stopped in after getting sushi next door. The first thing I noticed is the space is a super clean, bright, antiseptic, and modern looking. (And it smells awesome!) All of the ordering is digital. But if you aren't a digital person and if you're a cash payment person, no problem, they'll accommodate you. You can order and pay cash at the register too. Added bonus: Crumbl has a drive-through window and they also deliver! The employees are very friendly. I really enjoyed chatting with them. I really love that they have a display near the register of real cookies, a bunch of different flavors. I found the sample display to be super helpful. FYI, Crumbl is a franchise and they started in the state of Utah. Since I'm a low-carb, keto guy, I didn't indulge myself. But I tried all of my buddies cookies, and I can testify that they're awesome. Thanks, Crumbl! -Maxx

Ordered a 6 pack of cookies ahead of time. Cookies came out warm and fresh when we arrived. They were frosted perfectly and tastes amazing. We will be returning! Staff were very friendly.

Amazing cookies. The workers always pump the food out quick and are very friendly. Sometimes it's full but they do good

Such cute cupcakes and cake pops hand decorated. The staff was helpful with answering questions and brought the Midwest kindness. Note that if you are vegan or lactose intolerant, this may not be the spot for you (understandably). We ordered: Pesto parm focaccia: incredible! We sliced and served it with an Italian meal and an olive oil dipping sauce and it was the highlight. Soft, fluffy, and flavorful. -bbq bacon biscuit sandwiches: very good! You can get them to heat them in their oven for you or you do it at home. Just a slight sweetness and hint of BBQ, which seems to have coated the crisp bacon. The biscuit is buttery, fluffy, and perfectly crumbly. Monster cookies: the kids loved these. They are PB oatmeal cookies with M&Ms. great taste, but I wish they were softer rather than crunchy. -Cinnamon roll: the roll itself was huge and very soft. We wished there had been more of the cinnamon/sugar filling in it. However, the frosting was to die for! Just a hint of cream cheese, great consistency (not too thin or thick), and not overwhelmingly sweet. This spot was pricey, but with food costs, it likely needs to be for them to function. Always happy to support great local spots.

I went into this new-looking store in search of artisanal cheese, and I was very pleased at the…read morebroad selection of import and domestic cheeses. I found several I hadn't tried yet. As I went toward the checkouts, I saw the spices and herbs section. I was thrilled to find celery flakes available, and for a reasonable cost! That ingredient is weirdly hard to find around the region. I went to the self check-outs. One of my cheeses had a smeared barcode that wouldn't scan. I hit the "help" button on the screen, and a checker immediately came over to manually input that item. While I was in the grocery side, my husband checked out the liquor store. He bought a number of beers to take home, including some that were new to him. We were both quite pleased with our shopping experience here and would stop in again on another trip to Hudson.

I would have happily written a five-star review about Festival Foods' rotisserie chickens not long…read moreago. They were excellent -- consistently flavorful, well-prepared, and conveniently packaged in the standard rigid container with a raised base and clear lid. It kept the chicken elevated out of the grease, preserved the texture of the skin, and allowed customers to see what they were buying. That thoughtful packaging has now been replaced with a plastic bag. The result is exactly what you'd expect when you seal a hot, freshly roasted chicken in a bag with nowhere for heat or grease to go. The bird sits in its own rendered fat. The once-crisp skin turns slick and rubbery. Opening the bag means handling a dripping, slippery mess that coats your hands and countertop before dinner even begins. It's a downgrade in every practical sense -- presentation, cleanliness, and quality. After speaking with staff, it's clear this was not a store-level improvement. Employees dislike the change. Customers dislike the change. Which leaves one conclusion: someone, somewhere, decided that shaving a few cents off packaging mattered more than the customer experience. If that's the strategy, it's short-sighted. I no longer buy rotisserie chickens at Festival Foods. What used to be a reliable, convenient dinner option is now something I drive past without a second thought. That's disappointing, especially because Festival's arrival in Hudson genuinely raised the bar for grocery shopping in this community. It's remarkable how quickly goodwill can erode over something as simple -- and avoidable -- as a bag.
