As a huge fan of patisseries and bakeries I was excited to see a new addition to Downtown Hudson's main Street area. Walking in you just know that this is not just a feast for the eyes but also for the palette. After perusing their offerings I decided to grab a cup coffee, a croissant and a lemon merengue tart. The coffee was a Guatemalan blend and was nice but I really enjoyed the flaky and buttery croissant. I excited to indulge in the lemon later on today. May have to stop in again later this week and indulge in a pecan tart!

I checked out the new bakery - edible and tasty works of art! I'm really impressed with the pastries at the new bakery. I tried a bar, a scone, a muffin and a tiramisu. Everything was wonderful. They look so beautiful, I was reluctant to eat them! The left (north) wall has baked goods on shelves, more mundane items (compared to the main display cases) like bread and bags of giant cookies - yum! This place is a little too fancy for my taste. Personally, I prefer the more traditional main street American style bakery with big quantities of larger and less intricate and more economical pastries. So if I lived on Hudson, I'd probably shop here as a one-off, not as a regular thing. But I really appreciate what they're doing and I admire the baking skills. Thumbs up! -Daddy Maxx Retro

Adorable new discovery in Hudson with delicious bakery items and fresh sandwiches! Staff were very friendly and interactive with customers. it's a quaint place, and you can see everything being baked fresh through in the back! Worth the cost for the presentation and taste 100%

Great customer service! I needed a dozen chocolate cupcakes on a moments notice for my mom's birthday. They put together a beautiful arrangement with decorative confections personalizing the sweets for our occasion. Can't recommend enough!

What a gem of a bakery! Plenty of great treats and baked items to choose from. Friendly staff and placing an order is breezy over the phone and or Facebook messenger! Thank you Chef Froke and team for a scrumptious carrot cake!

Vanilla Birthday cake - A round birthday cake with white frosting, decorated with chocolate pieces, gold accents, and a personalized message for Miguel.

My first time in town and I had the opportunity to order a birthday cake and thanks God I chose this place! The cake was exquisite, it was a Vanilla cake but it was perfectly balanced, it wasn't too sweet but the icing make the cake perfect for those who love the sweetness. The decoration was also nicely made and they did it just in less than 4h. I also ordered a chocolate croissant, I couldn't resist the temptation to leave the store with trying something that. Everything smells and looked awesomely delicious. The baker and owner was very nice and gentle as well as the others two person on the place. Highly recommended, and I definitely will return. I regret that I won't have more days this time to try more things from them, but they are a good reason to stop by in another opportunity.

Custom birthday cake for my 22nd birthday. About $70 with tax/tip

Stopped in to check it out. Wish they had more breakfast/morning items. Ambiance/experience was okay, nothing special.

As I went toward the checkouts, I saw the spices and herbs section. I was thrilled to find celery flakes available, and for a reasonable cost! That ingredient is weirdly hard to find around the region. I went to the self check-outs. One of my cheeses had a smeared barcode that wouldn't scan. I hit the "help" button on the screen, and a checker immediately came over to manually input that item. While I was in the grocery side, my husband checked out the liquor store. He bought a number of beers to take home, including some that were new to him. We were both quite pleased with our shopping experience here and would stop in again on another trip to Hudson.

I would have happily written a five-star review about Festival Foods' rotisserie chickens not long…read moreago. They were excellent -- consistently flavorful, well-prepared, and conveniently packaged in the standard rigid container with a raised base and clear lid. It kept the chicken elevated out of the grease, preserved the texture of the skin, and allowed customers to see what they were buying. That thoughtful packaging has now been replaced with a plastic bag. The result is exactly what you'd expect when you seal a hot, freshly roasted chicken in a bag with nowhere for heat or grease to go. The bird sits in its own rendered fat. The once-crisp skin turns slick and rubbery. Opening the bag means handling a dripping, slippery mess that coats your hands and countertop before dinner even begins. It's a downgrade in every practical sense -- presentation, cleanliness, and quality. After speaking with staff, it's clear this was not a store-level improvement. Employees dislike the change. Customers dislike the change. Which leaves one conclusion: someone, somewhere, decided that shaving a few cents off packaging mattered more than the customer experience. If that's the strategy, it's short-sighted. I no longer buy rotisserie chickens at Festival Foods. What used to be a reliable, convenient dinner option is now something I drive past without a second thought. That's disappointing, especially because Festival's arrival in Hudson genuinely raised the bar for grocery shopping in this community. It's remarkable how quickly goodwill can erode over something as simple -- and avoidable -- as a bag.
