Great food at a great price. It's sometimes a bit busy,so it can be a bit slow but it's worth the wait

The experience at this restaurant is weird. Show up at 11am…read more- you'll have a line out the door. That is understandable, as it's peak brunch time. You talk to the front desk, and they'll tell you there's an hour wait if you don't have a reservation. You look around and see open tables. You think: "that's odd". You check on the website and it says you can get a reservation for 15, 30, and 45 minutes from now. You select a reservation for 15 minutes from now, and magically there isn't an hour wait for you anymore. You note the still open tables and the line not moving. The restaurant is very loud. They're doing late 2010's industrial chic with not a soft surface in site and garage doors, so everybody's conversation bounces around indefinitely. You wait a while for a server to come. I find the way the food looks when it arrives is always different than the way it sounds when you read the menu - sometimes for better, and sometimes for worse. The coffee and bar menu is pretty decent for a brunch place. Prices are on the high end, though some are more reasonable than others. Then you get hit with a 3% credit card fee which isn't adequately disclosed on the menu or when you enter the restaurant.

For dinner, we were looking for a restaurant that served Minnesota fare, and this place came up as…read morea nearby option that was still open. The ambiance is wonderful. The ceiling is decorated with mason jars, which gives the restaurant such a unique and charming feel. The restaurant was clean, the service was excellent, and everyone was friendly and welcoming. We came to try some Minnesota specialties, including the walleye. Unfortunately, the sauce served with it contains alcohol, so I wasn't able to have it. There wasn't an alternative sauce available, so I had the fish plain. I don't think that really did the walleye justice, so it wasn't my favorite dish. Some of the other items were also a bit hit-or-miss for my personal taste, but that's more about my preferences than the quality of the food. One thing we really loved was the adorable bakery and ice cream counter at the front of the restaurant. Grabbing ice cream before we left was the perfect ending to our meal. Overall, this is a beautiful restaurant with great service and a fun atmosphere. If you're looking to try Minnesota fare in a welcoming setting, I'd definitely recommend giving it a visit.

We stopped at this restaurant because we wanted to try some classic Minnesota comfort food,…read moreespecially the famous hot dish. We ordered the Minnesota Sampler, which included hot dish, chicken pot pie, and pot roast, giving us a nice variety of local favorites. The hot dish was our favorite of the three. It's hard to go wrong with a dish topped with crispy tater tots, and we really enjoyed it. The chicken pot pie and pot roast were decent, but they didn't stand out as much. One of the dishes included blue cheese, and its flavor was so strong that it overpowered the rest of the meal. Overall, the food was good and gave us a chance to try some regional specialties, but it wasn't a meal that really wowed us. It's worth a visit if you're looking to sample traditional Minnesota comfort food, but we didn't find it to be an exceptional dining experience.

It's nice, overlooking water and greenery and it is more quiet vs being inside. Today is Tuesday so I opted for the taco Tuesday special which are $3.00 tacos. It comes with beef or grilled chicken as well as lettuce, cheese and on the side you get salsa and sour cream! I did ask for a side of tomatoes which our server brought out at no cost which was great! My boyfriend ordered their cheeseburger with chips. The burger came with two onion rings which were delicious! The chips weee very fresh and crisp! I think they had to be home made! They were so good! The pickles are also very good here! They are the thick cut and sliced circle pieces, with a nice crunch! We also hit cheese curds and added marinara for a charge of .50 cents! Food was excellent! They also had bingo happening so we joined in and played that while we waited for food and played while eating! Our server was very nice, very kind, and got us what we needed! I would highly recommend this place! Food is fresh, it's a good price point, the booths are comfy, patio is nice and we didn't wait long at all. Mid come back again!
