Babes is a great spot for sports, drinks and bar food. A great selection of tap beers anchor the bar that is "manned" by very efficient and friendly ladies. Everything on the menu is done well and efficiently. Before COVID and the ensuing stupidity, they had free popcorn! As our COVID memory gets fuzzy, I hope they bring it back. Babes is also where I saw my forest Friday night Meat Raffle and was instantly addicted. I think I paid $359 a pound for pork chops (I'm perennially unlucky!) but that's on me and I had / have a ball!

This is a classic divey bar. The patio has gotten super nice over the last couple of years but other than that take it for what it is. You're not coming here for a fancy dinner with a host and fancy kitchen staff. You're coming here for a dive bar experience with consistent food and cheaper drinks. It's also a fun place for live shows on Saturday nights. I have a friend in a band that has done a few shows here. Sound isn't amazing but that makes sense with the acoustics of the venue. It really has the mid-level garage band vibe going for it, which I personally appreciate!

There are a few different areas to sit and hang out, plus tables spread throughout the property. It's also dog friendly, which is a big plus. The wines are solid, and it's fun to try a variety, especially some of their more unique options. The staff was really helpful in making suggestions also and knew the history of the vineyard which was cool to learn more about. The only thing I felt was missing was more food. They do have a small section where you can grab items to build your own charcuterie board, but I'd love to see a few more food options added.
