Schuller's has been around for a long time. And it looks the same as it did then. We stopped by here for a couple of drinks and some apps. They have a decent variety of beers and a full bar. We for some drinks and some wings, sliders and a burger. The food was good and the drinks were cold. The wings were massive! but tasty. We went with the drunken wings sauce. Plus they have all the free popcorn you could want. Which my six year old went crazy for. The service was friendly and the food came out quick. Our server was really courteous and attentive. This has a very neighborhood feel and one of the better watering holes around the area.

Schullers has become a family favorite/ tradition. It has a hole in the wall feel but the food here is delightful. Its the only place my child will eat chesse curds. And service is always friendly Love it here!

Chicken nachos, Buffalo wings and a taco salad (loved the jalapeños!)

I live in Golden valley and finally checked this place out! Food: We got the chicken nachos, Buffalo wings and a beef taco salad. Good nachos and salad, and we love finding places that do whole wings! The Buffalo sauce was good but nothing special. I would try a new sauce next time. Overall the menu has something for everyone, you won't be disappointed! Good happy hour deals (not great). Vibe: Perfect for me and my significant other. Cabinesk themed bar and restaurant, where the locals obviously go! The BEST EVER (no exaggerating) free popcorn haha. Looks like they host live music that I would go back for! Overall: Check it out, preferably on a weekday for quieter vibes or during a football game if you want a busy atmosphere, if you haven't!

A signature dish served like this should be taken off the menu.

We had heard of Schuller's for years and took a couple to lunch after reading a glowing review in the local daily paper. We were in a different Schuller's, or the reviewer was. Either way, our visit was a huge disappointment. To wit: After parking, we searched for a while before finding the door. We weren't sure if it was the front door or the employee entrance. It was a chilly day --outside and in. We asked the waitress if the heat could be turned up. She stated they had just opened, but the dining room will warm up in a few minutes. By the time we left, about an hour later, the chill was still in the air. Yes, Schuller's bills itself as a roadhouse. Lots of liquor, beer, bar food, and TVs tuned to sports channels. Some people choose not to drink or not drink alcohol in the late morning. After ordering only water to drink, the waitress's attention to our table changed. I ordered the hot turkey with gravy and mashed potatoes, touted on the menu as one of Schuller's signature dishes. Well, the turkey was dry, the bread hard, the gravy barely warm, and the mashed (with lumps) potatoes varied between cold and tepid --all indications that the kitchen took the food out of the freezer or fridge, plated it, and then stuck it in the microwave. It gives me no pleasure to pan a restaurant. But on the day of our visit, they hit the trifecta of a cold dining room, unpleasant wait staff, and poor-quality food.

This place has cleaned up well. The food is great, the staff is kind and the put door patio is beautiful. Small town feel

Needs some updated appetizers. Cool little local bar, just needs a menu refresh. Great new patio.

Good Day Cafe was a wonderful experience for breakfast on my recent visit to the Minneapolis area…read more The restaurant was very busy for brunch, but was very clean, very vibrant, and staff was extremely welcoming to our group of 9. For breakfast, I ordered the Payslie's Favorite Eggs Benedict. This meal comes piled pretty high with guac, tomato, poached eggs and hollandaise sauce, and is served with a side of their delicious homemade breakfast potatoes. It was very filling and very delicious, and honestly one of the better eggs benedict dishes I've had in recent months! To finish off, we ordered some of their beignets. While they weren't quite as good as real beignets from New Orleans, they were a perfect sweet treat to end an already wonderful meal. 5 stars all around! Highly recommend!

The restaurant is in the most random spot, but everyone seems to find it just fine :'D…read more After entering we got a seat immediately, and got our coffee and soda drink orders put in, our food came out pretty quickly as well. Over all the ambiance was very good, but the patrons were very loud. I think that's just what happens in a place with no noise buffers. The German pancake was very good, dense and egg flavored. The lemon and syrup was a great combo. The mushroom and spinach omelet was delicious, definitely a joint to share entrees!
