I've driven by a bunch but never had the chance to go.. however, when I found out they were an official Loons watch place, I made it a point to go for the Allstars game (as one of the Loons made the team!!) After canceling our original plans, we did a quick search and my buddy suggested that we eat here bcuz he's heard great things about it and works nearby. I had the breakfast poutine to try something different. And it was fine and a creative way of using ingredients already on their menu. So they used toasted biscuit instead of fries for the base. And the toasted biscuit was delicious. My favorite part. They were overly heavy on the cheese curds, which were ok, but kind of dominated it honestly. Sausage gravy was good. I would have preferred a more traditional one with fries. But the biscuit was really great, just not enough of it compared to the curds. I ordered the buttermilk chicken sandwich (which was a favorite of mine). However, what I received was the thinnest, most overcooked, and driest chicken breast I have ever been served. To level set the chicken breast was thinner than my 5 year old son''s kiddie hamburger. I included a picture of the sandwich with this review. The waitress did take the sandwich off our bill (I sent it back and didn't eat it). Based on the fact they didn't offer me another one, I'm guessing this how all of their chicken sandwiches now look. If you google pictures of the sandwich the restaurant puts online you will get an idea of the dramatic difference between what is advertised (and also what the sandwich used to look like) and my picture shows what you get today. I am pleasantly entertained at the fact that this bar is known to me as the "Cheesecake Bar." THE TASTE: A delicious fluffy and not too "fudge" like texture; it had me surprised at the fact at how delightful it melted in my mouth. It wasn't so sweet that it had me on my back which is a good thing. THE MYSTERY: I asked our waiter who was the chef of this cheesecake and he said that there is lady who would come in every once in a while and make a giant batch of cheesecake. Yes, salad is healthier, but before I congratulate myself, I have to admit I just bought cherry salad at Costco so I could have just eaten that at home for cheap. Anyway, the salad was great. The French Dip was ok but not memorable. The service was fast and the bar is so clean it was an easy choice to sit up there instead of table. I like the menu, but it seems similar to Yardhouse which is nearby. Like so many restaurants, they have huge TVs everywhere if you like that. Honestly this place was very underwhelming. The restaurants nearby had long wait times so my friends and I decided to come here instead where we could be seated right away. They seated us way off in the back at a table right by the server's station. I didn't think this would be a problem but we even had someone come and reach right behind our chairs for some plates. When we offered to move our table a little into the very open area in front of us, she told us to just stay. Weird. Our server was also incredibly rude, not in an outright way but just in a way that made you feel guilty for asking questions about the menu or even ordering with her.
