    Sirloin and salmon
    Michael J.

Stopped in there today. I like the look. Bathrooms were clean. We got sat pretty quickly. Our server was polite and prompt. I had the blueberry mojito, probably the best I have ever had. My fiance had some white wine, very good. The calamari was great. I had the top sirloin with mash potatoes and green beans. My fiance had the salmon with fingerling potatoes and Brussels sprouts. The food was good. However, it was closer to cold then it was hot. We noticed when we were done that people were been served bread. That wasn't offered to us. We will probably go back though.

We sat out on the patio on this most beautiful Saturday afternoon. I tried the bahn mi sandwich off the menu. I thoroughly enjoyed the sandwich. Everything about it was delicious. Definitely having again, better than a hamburger any day. The Thai chicken meatballs really amped up the dish.

The happy hour is great! $4 house wine and apps for $7,9, and 12! I love their calamari and buffalo cauliflower, for me both of those are enough for a meal! Nice calm atmosphere, I recommend this spot!

First off this is the cutest little place where you can sit outside and dine on the patio under a stream of adorable lights or you can sit inside at one of their oversized booths or at the bar. We opted for a booth and immediately was greeted by our server Mike. Mike was absolutely fantastic! He promptly got our drink and food order. Never missed a second with a refill, asked us a few times how everything was and if we needed anything else. He was quick, knowledgeable with the menu, and never kept us waiting for anything! He was an excellent server and I hope if you come here you get to experience the magic like we did! The food is absolutely fantastic as well! I don't think anything is bad here! Go - now! And ask for Mike!

All of the steaks are delicious, but I prefer the sirloin - medium

Very popular and busy lunch spot in the heart of Golden Valley. Very easily accessible off of Highway 55 and Winnetka . Service is super efficient and friendly . The menu is extensive and really quite delicious . There's a lot of parking available, but even with the extensive parking, you may have trouble finding a spot if you come LATE during the lunch rush .

It's been a while since we've been here, but I'm glad we came back! A newly updated menu added in a few nice choices. The food was quick, hot, and very tasty! We started with a house salad (not what we expected, but a good choice) and tried the Cubana sandwich with seasoned fries, and a Sam's bowl with roasted chicken. Everyone was happy with their choices. Service was friendly and attentive, helping point out the menu changes. Very laid back atmosphere with the requisite wood fire, light music, and comfortable seating. Parking is always easy. If you haven't tried it, definitely put it on your list.

The Rotisserie/roasted chicken here is pretty great- it's juicy, tender and flavorful, maybe just a bit more salt/seasoning would make it even better for me. Overall, I enjoyed most of my food but for the price and flavors- it didn't feel satisfying or anything special. The service was nice though- friendly and thoughtful as they brought out warm towels for you to clean your hands, which I appreciated. I recommend the following: Walleye fritters or chicken wings apps the roasted or bbq chicken entrees I would skip: The pasta dishes Dessert There is a free parking lot with plenty of parking when we went on Friday night. Reservations are recommended which you can do online or call.

Shout out to Katie she is amazing and made our experience that much better! We stopped in Saturday afternoon, the restaurant wasn't busy and we got seated right away. We got started with the buffalo wings. They were delicious and perfectly cooked, however they were sweet and spicy not buffalo spicy. I didn't like the butternut squash soup, but I loved the scallops with piquillo cream and the blueberry mojitos. My husband and I agreed they were sweet and strong! The restaurant is clean, very spacious, dimly lit, and has a wonderful ambiance with a large parking lot out front.

Grilled Salmon with Herb Cream (takeout)

I ordered takeout from Doolittle's, the grilled salmon with cream dish. The food was excellent and ready on time following an online order. However, although I had ordered a side salad alongside my entrée, I did not receive one. Upon notifying that I did not receive the salad, I did receive a credit for it. My salmon entrée was very tasty with nicely, roasted potatoes, and brussels sprouts. The salmon was perfectly grilled, crispy on the outside and moist in the center.

Dinner after a long day at work should be great not just mediocre! There were three of us and we ordered drinks first-they were delish and came out very promptly. We then ordered our meals and all of us ordered a starter salad. I'll say, for me, that was the best part of the meal. For my meal, I ordered the ribs and chicken combo. We were not asked if we wanted dark or white meat and it also was not stated on the menu. It came out with 1/4 of a chicken and it was dark. The ribs had a great smoky flavor, but there was so much fat time on the ribs and they were very chewy. I would not order them again. The sides were decent. Our wait staff was awesome and he did a great job. I know there are some great meals there, unfortunately I didn't get one of them.

Came back for round two of the Cajun chicken pasta. It's grown on me A especially when I ordered the dish without the tomatoes and had them spice it up. The flavor is right up there with the best Cajun pastas I've had. So satisfied!

So I tried it.. Today my company had a team outing, and one of those things resulted in us eating together. Let me tell you about. Headed over to Dolittles, which seems to be a staple in the Eagan/Golden Valley Areas. For our outing we patronized the Golden Valley location. Parking.. seemed a bit tight. Around the the 1 o'clock hour they had many who came eager to eat. In the restaurant ranged from a single person at the bar to parties of more than 10. We arrived a little early but the hosted was swift regarding finding accommodations. Seating seemed enough but maybe in some spaces tight. Our group was large so we moved from the waiting area to the bar. It may not have been the best idea, but it worked while we waited. At the bar we with greeted with specialty drinks like most places as well as a lengthy list of wines. Finally seated, we wasted no time getting to the appetizers. I wished I could have grabbed a picture of the Woodfire Buffalo Wings & the Parmesan Artichoke Dip. They were so good that we quickly indulged. The apps alone get 9/10! Entree. I opted for the Salmon with Herb Cream. I also changed my fingerling potatoes to mash to really enjoy the herb cream. The salmon was definitely delicious. In my own opinion a spice kick or a added kick to the herb cream sauce would really elevate the dish. When you tasted the cream it was slightly bland. I used salt and pepper to add a little flavor. The mash was standard. I would indeed add something that would give a pop the overall dish. Overall I found this eatery interesting and definitely work going back to try again. Rating: 7/10 overall Recommend: I would definitely go back again. #Thetravoodie #blacktraveler #prayeattravel #travelingpumas #mylifeisaflight #travelblogger #travellife #solotraveler #blackwomentravel #findmeflying #blackgirlswhoblogs #blacktravel #internationaltraveler #whereintheworldisJai #travelattractions #worldtraveler #blackcontentcreator #blacktravelfeed ** Like, Share, & Follow Me @thetravoodie on IG, FB & TikTok DM or Email for Collab #TheTravoodieLife

My unforgettable experience at Blue Goose in St. Cloud was created by my interaction with the kind, beautiful bartender, Winters! You can feel Winters' passion about mixology as soon as she asks what you would like to drink. And if you were lucky like me who encountered her and her lovely coworkers/friends around her. It's akin to the scene in Lost in Translation when Bill Murray stumbled on the locals in Japan and being invited to have a great night out with them. I ask winters for a cocktail after being super happy with her spirit suggestion. And she made me a drink that is tart and just right amount of sweetness that leaving me wanting more. I was lucky to get a tour of the speak easy, which further enhanced the night with the shock and awe that one feels when seeing this place for the first time. The history of this place is carefully preserved and enhanced by the Easter eggs that is all around the speakeasy. The tour of the speakeasy was definitely a cherry on top. But what makes this evening an unforgettable one for me is Winters and her coworker-family. It was unplanned but winters and her crew turn my otherwise mundane evening into an unforgettable night. So stop by; try you luck. You can't lose with Winters' cocktails and company.

The service was very good even though it only looked like 3 people were working - they were very busy but did not show it They have an extensive wine list which is nice and decent price range from $12 upwards. The Rosè I had was pretty good and the Cab Sauv my date had was good too! The music was pretty loud - only on weekends I think , but when the crowds dispersed it felt more like an intimate wine bar- so I imagine during the week this would be a great place to meet up with friends and family. Did not get to try any food as we had just come from dinner but they did have some amazing smelling bread boards I would be willing to try! We made a reservation on both occasions but didn't have to make it too much in advance so it's always worth checking on. Service is always spectacular with a huge attention to detail and really customized spiels about the menu. The things I've recently tried for drinks have included the spritz del ambratta, the fiore, and a sparkling red from their wine selection. I find myself going back to the Fiore and would recommend that most although their wine is a solid selection as well. In my opinion, the best starter combination is the focaccia plus the lemony beans. The focaccia is solid and it's so good to dip in the mixture that the beans are doused in. The Caesar was decent as well but you can't miss with that other combo. Then, of course, the mains. If you love creamy pasta, do yourself a favor and get the cavatelli. One of my favorite dishes I've had there; I kept almost comparing it to an adult Mac and cheese. Great for sharing if creamy pastas are a bit too rich for your liking. The lasagna is always a close second and you can't go wrong with it. My friend adored the pickle pizza and I thought it was solid too although I would still probably get the cavatelli or lasagna if you are between that and the pizza. Another great shareable. The saffron spaghetti was decent with some really good bite from the noodles and the taste of saffron really coming through, but I would probably get those other dishes before I would order that. On the first occasion, I was there we were celebrating two of my friends' 30th birthdays and H&S did such a good job of celebrating and making them feel special plus they brought out French silk pie cannolis for us plus glasses of sparkling wine, so I would highly recommend this place as a celebratory dinner. I hope it becomes a big mainstay in twin cities/twin cities adjacent cuisine.
