    Charcuterie spread

I met up with my aunties for some wine and dinner at this wine bar in uptown. I had to drive down a block to find parking along the street, otherwise there's is a parking ramp a block away. Reservations recommended, this is a small bar. Nice and intimate. The bar is lit up orange, and there's a fire place that also set the mood. We each ordered a flight and shared flat bread and charcuterie spread.

This place is excellent! We came here on a Saturday evening before dinner and were seated right away. It looks like you can also make a reservation as there were reserved tables. Happy hour everyday! I ordered a flight of Nico's Favorite of the Moment (the GM) and husband got the House Red. All wines were excellent and I was told they rotate a flight every few months or so. The truffle chips were a nice snack. It was a cozy place with a fireplace and informative staff. We look forward to returning!

Vibes: Sexy. Sultry. Speakeasy. Wine bar. Great music. Intimate seating and fun yet comfy decor. Drinks: Ordered the Nico's Favorite of the Moment Flight $25 Cost: The flight was so reasonably priced ($25) and each glass was 3oz. The Pinsa was also a great size to share for the price ($18) I ended up with leftovers. Experience: Our server was so knowledgeable and friendly. She helped one of my friends decide which wine to try and had great suggestions on both food and wine! We didn't need convincing to come back.

Beautiful little wine bar with great selections and delicious food. Nico is very knowledgeable and makes great recommendations. Very friendly as well, every time we have been there it's been a fantastic experience. Highly recommend this gem!

I was in a walk and found this hidden gem. Ambiance was 10/10. Food and wine 10/10. The women leading the evening were pure joy. They let this CA girl ask questions about MN and they gave me further advice on things to do in the area. I want to come here every day and be best friends with the team!!! I'll be back!!

The perfect wine bar. Not to extensive list but a mix of quality and interesting curated by someone who knows what they are doing. I'll be back

I went with 2 girl friends for a girls night at the Tasting Room and we had a wonderful experience! The location had a really cozy vibe. They do not seem to have the food menu on their website so I emailed them for a copy of the menu and they responded same day. Nico was our server and he gave us really personalized service. One of my friends is gluten free and they were able to accommodate her dietary restriction. Between the 3 of us, we ordered 2 bottles of wine, olives, beef carpaccio, escargot, a gluten free Flatbread, a cheeseboard, and a creme brulee. All the food all tasted great! The gluten free pizza also turned out really well (he said that was the first time having to serve one). They also provided us with gluten free crackers since my friend couldn't eat the baguette that came with some of the dishes. The Tasting Room is perfect for date night or a girls night out. I hope it sticks around for a long time to come!

My new favorite wine bar in the twin cities by far. This stylish little spot just off Hennepin in uptown features an amazing selection of wines by the bottle as well as a frequently changing selections by the glass. Available in 2 oz tasting pours or 6 oz glasses the selections the night we visited featured lesser known varietals that are sure to expand your wine knowledge. The proprietor, Doug, is a wealth of information about wines and has curated an amazing selection. There are a number of small plates too from cheeses and meats, nuts greens and more. But whatever you do you MUST order the house made focaccia-a fantastically crispy bread served with a fruity olive oil-heaven! They also will be doing wine classes so be sure to keep an eye on their website. A-one. I've already booked a return visit in a couple of weeks to see what else he's discovered.

The pour-your-own wine concept is honestly so much fun and super convenient. I love that you can choose exactly how much you want from each pour, which makes it perfect for trying a variety of wines instead of committing to a full glass. We shared a charcuterie board that was amazing and loaded with a fun variety of things, perfect for snacking over wine with friends. There really isn't anything else quite like this in the Twin Cities. It somehow feels like you've escaped Minneapolis for the evening, which makes it such a fun spot for a night out. The wine selection is great, and the food is surprisingly really good too. They also offer lunch and brunch options with sandwiches, salads, and of course their charcuterie boards. On top of that the service was fantastic, super friendly and attentive.

Otherwise, there is street parking nearby, especially as you get into the residential areas. They are a walk-in only restaurant, and if you're going during dinner hours, there is usually a wait. You can a text when it is your turn to be seated, and you are able to wander the neighborhood during the wait. It is close to Lake Harriet, so if you're looking for a way to kill time, you can walk towards the lake and sit on one of the benches! Once you're at Broder's, you're in for a treat! It is a sit-down restaurant that feels on the nicer end of casual. It'd be a good date night spot, but also is good for gathering with friends and family. They have plenty of good options, including some dairy-free, vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free items on their menu which is clearly labeled. The service is always friendly, and they're always attentive, even when it gets busy! They start you off with some free breads, and there is olive oil at the table which you can use with the bread. They have a good selection of wines, and some beer and non alcoholic beverages. If you like a sweet wine that tastes mostly like juice, I highly recommend their moscato d'asti! As for their food, they have so many good pastas, you can't really go wrong. They are able to accommodate some modifications! I think in the past, I've subbed for another pasta shape. I recently also ordered the Tagliarini di Locanda di Lupo without Proscuitto to be vegetarian-friendly! It was very cheesy and creamy, and truffle-forward, as expected! I had their Spaghetti Al Limone, which was nice and buttery and still felt light and fresh with the basil and lemon. I've been to Broder's several times throughout the years, and I enjoy it every time! I would recommend stopping!

They have a wonderfully curated selection of cheese of all varieties. You want soft cheese. If you are unsure of a cheese you might be interested in, the cheesemongers will certainly provide you with a description, and even allow you to sample before you buy. To complement your cheese, there is a nice array of cured meats, crackers, olives, etc to add to the cheese-eating experience. One thing I would add is that this establishment is not unlike shopping at Target. You enter to pick up one or two items, and you leave with much more than you intended.
