    Cute alleyway patio
    Kavitha P.

Hidden gem in Edina The cutest cozy alleyway in the summer is perfect for sipping on a glass of vino and sharing a cheese board Feels like you are in Europe somewhere not in the heart of 50th and France Service was good and attentive- inside is super picturesque too Smaller menu - only reason for 4 stars - prefer more wines but a perfect date night spot !!

The place is cozy and the options for food and wine were pretty good. My friends ordered wine flights and I had a glass of red. They ordered risotto and I had mussels. We were all happy with our choices. I would recommend this as a place to meet friends and drink wine.

This is the cutest little wine bar! If you like, good food, cute, ambience, and great wine. This is the perfect place. Came here for a girls night and ordered a few apps to share and the risotto. The cheeseboard was huge. Had to take some home! The wine selection is great! We all tried a bunch of different wines, I really enjoyed the vhino verde! They have a pretty fancy food menu as well as easy eats. Everything is done so well, can't say enough about it! We got sat right away and they had room for our big group even, hard to find at a wine bar! This spot is perfect for date night or a night out with your friends! Also, their entry way from the alley is the cutest little entrance ever!

I would give this a 4.5 stars, I loved my experience here but I just didn't feel quite blown away. We came on a Wednesday night around 4:45/5:00 and there weren't many people there so it was easy to get seating. There's a large wine menu, and a pretty big food menu for being just a wine bar. It feels very simple and european which is fun for being in the middle of Edina. There's 2 large parking garages around the corner making it easy to get to. Our server was attentive and it wasn't too hard to get a drink or food. I decided to try the orange wine. It was pretty good, but I was expecting it to be sweeter. I wish there was an indicator of which wines leaned sweeter or dryer. We started with the Rouge Charcuterie Board, which was the perfect size for four people. I loved all of the cheeses and meats - I didn't need 2 mustards, could've only had one, but I'm not complaining! It soon became dinnertime so we opted to also try some entrees. I got the Steak Sandwich with a side salad. Loved the simple side salad, and the sandwich was very good. I wish I had the horseradish taken off, but that's fine. The bread was so fresh and crispy and the steak was good quality. Overall, really enjoyed this place and would come back!

Great selection of food and wine. Some of the most gorgeous boards I've seen and reasonably priced for everything too! the service is friendly and cozy great date night spot or place for some quiet downtime work. the servers here are great and the kitchen staff is fast! what more can you ask for come and enjoy.

Great wine, warm olives, and friendly staff. They were happy to answer questions and provide suggestions. Will definitely be back for more food and wine!

    $24 bruschetta. WTH?!

I don't even know where to start... Our server was very nice, but couldn't answer a single question. She seemed new, maybe new to serving and was unsure. We ordered the bruschetta. It came with cheese, tomatoes, olive oil on a plate and then a basket of crackers and some thinly sliced pieces of bread. Like, huh? It was a build your own situation and nothing was warm that should have been; bread, tomatoes. And it's $24! That's right, TWENTY FOUR DOLLARS!! The beer flight was three pint glasses filled to maybe 6 ounces. Okie dokie. The sandwiches were good, but the annoying part was waiting forever for the weird bruschetta, that took so long it came after our meals. Combine the late arrival with the contents of the dish...we were annoyed. $70 plus later...I mean...c'mon.

The wine selection is great, and the food is surprisingly really good too. They also offer lunch and brunch options with sandwiches, salads, and of course their charcuterie boards. We got takeout on this occasion which was slick, albeit a bit tricky due to parking in the linden hills area by this restaurant. I got the turkey in the hills sandwich and the tomato soup. Both of these were hits and were a good amount of food too. My mom got the same sandwich with the chicken wild rice soup which wasn't as much of a hit as the tomato but was still decent and then my sister got a veg sandwich with the tomato soup. SPACE There are a few 4-tops on the patio in front, a handful of bar seats inside with a small, cozy indoor table footprint, and a handful of 2-3 tops on the back alley. SERVICE The bartender told us to go find a spot on the back alley, so we did - but not sure we did things right, as our server walked past us a few times without acknowledging us. Service was friendly but limited. DRINKS They had a nice cocktail menu, but I opted for an Aperol Spritz. My husband chose off their limited NA menu a lavender honey lemonade, and it was a bit too sweet for him. I'd love to see some mocktail options here! FOOD We just got a few shareables since we were heading to dinner after, but their sandwiches were making my husband's mouth water! We got: Pickle Brined Wings - amazing flavor, salty and dilly, but I would have liked quite a bit more char on them: they were pretty pale. Minnesota Sushi - my husband loved this! Served with Ritz crackers, and it's the perfect little shareable dip.

Note, they do NOT take reservations so it's first come, first serve. Our original wait time was around 1 hour but it ended up only being 35 minutes. Parking is quite limited but due to eating later in the evening, we were able to get a parking spot in their lot. Broaders' has both patio and indoor seating. Being the middle of winter, we sat inside. It's not an overly large restaurant so be prepared to wait during busier meal times (like dinner on the weekends). Our waitress was very nice, answered our questions, and helped us select the perfect wine. Shortly after ordering our wine, they brought out a complimentary bread basket which was delicious! We asked for butter and more of the foccaccia because it was SO good. For our mains, we got the Greek Salad, Ravioli Di Zucca, and Spaghetti Con Polpette. WOW! I don't have a single complaint. The greek salad was flavorful with all the mixed vegetables and dressed perfectly. The Ravioli Di Zucca was buttery and delicious and the Spaghetti Con Polpette was probably the best spaghetti and meatballs we've ever had. Somehow we had room for dessert and opted for the Tiramisu. It was good, not great. I didn't love that it was cut in the shape of a pie vs. a square -- Something about that threw me off. Overall, I HIGHLY recommend going to Broaders' Pasta Bar!
