The atmosphere was cozy and florally decorated with outdoor seating in a nicely lit alley in the back with some florals as well. The service was a bit slow and the waitress would forget to take our empty plates/clear off the table and it took a bit of time to get our check even though we were the only ones eating at the restaurant. She was nice though! The charcuterie board we ordered was good but it would've been even better if they offered a board that included both savory meats and fruits/cheeses. I didn't like that they only had one charcuterie board option with only meat and some pickles/olives/cheeses but no fruits. The steak sandwich looked a little sad and flat, and the gyro didn't have enough lamb meat inside, was mostly just pita bread. Regardless it was still delicious. The Margherita flat bread was good too, wish it packed some more flavor. For the price of the items I just expected more. The best meal we had was the lemon raspberry cake. We were thankful that Bojae's happens to be one of the only bar/restaurants open until 10pm on a Tuesday night. BUT, when we arrived a little before 9, the staff was clearly ready to pack things up and go home which affected our service for sure. There was no checking in after getting our drinks. The glass of $16 Cote du Rhône I ordered tasted like the bottle had been open for days and was clearly oxidized. The summer burrata and mussels in butter and wine were FABULOUS! Hence the extra stars! Again, no checking in from our waiter or to ask if we wanted another drink. By the time we got our food at 9:10, the staff was saying goodbye to each other and hurrying around to close up. What could have been a five star date night ended up with us leaving at 9:20. NOT the cozy, intimate wine bar experience you'd expect. They should just close at 9:00 or 9:30 if they don't want to serve customers that late. Next time, we'll go to Tilia's or Picnic in Linden Hills! read more

This is the cutest little wine bar! If you like, good food, cute, ambience, and great wine. This is the perfect place. Came here for a girls night and ordered a few apps to share and the risotto. The cheeseboard was huge. Had to take some home! The wine selection is great! We all tried a bunch of different wines, I really enjoyed the vhino verde! They have a pretty fancy food menu as well as easy eats. Everything is done so well, can't say enough about it! We got sat right away and they had room for our big group even, hard to find at a wine bar! This spot is perfect for date night or a night out with your friends! I would give this a 4.5 stars, I loved my experience here but I just didn't feel quite blown away. We came on a Wednesday night around 4:45/5:00 and there weren't many people there so it was easy to get seating. There's a large wine menu, and a pretty big food menu for being just a wine bar. It feels very simple and european which is fun for being in the middle of Edina. There's 2 large parking garages around the corner making it easy to get to. Our server was attentive and it wasn't too hard to get a drink or food. I decided to try the orange wine. It was pretty good, but I was expecting it to be sweeter. I wish there was an indicator of which wines leaned sweeter or dryer. We started with the Rouge Charcuterie Board, which was the perfect size for four people. I loved all of the cheeses and meats - I didn't need 2 mustards, could've only had one, but I'm not complaining! It soon became dinnertime so we opted to also try some entrees. I got the Steak Sandwich with a side salad. Loved the simple side salad, and the sandwich was very good. I wish I had the horseradish taken off, but that's fine. The bread was so fresh and crispy and the steak was good quality. Overall, really enjoyed this place and would come back! read more

I don't know if these other reviewers are friends with the owner or what, but this is hands down the worst place I've ever been in the Twin Cities! I waited a while to even write this review so my anger could subside, because I was LIVID that I had to pay the bill for this atrocious service and disgusting food/beverage. Let's start with the service. I sat at the bar, and the two servers stood directly in front of me and chatted between serving other people for the entirety of my visit. I don't know about you, but I don't care to have a live gossip session performed inches away from me when I pay to eat somewhere. It was very odd. I ordered the Brie bites and some sort of rosemary Prosecco drink. The Brie bites were very tiny, drizzled with gross honey (the kind that comes from a plastic bear, I bet!) and surrounded by a few sad berries and nuts to make the small plate look more full. They tasted just like frozen Brie bites from Trader Joe's, the texture was off like they were microwaved--and they were $22! They barely even had any Brie in them. The drink was FLAT! No bubbles, no flavor. Don't remember how much it was, but I remember it was a lot. I couldn't even force myself to drink it. Got the bill and it was what I'd expect to pay for a full dinner and quality cocktail elsewhere. The ambience of the restaurant wasn't very inviting.
