Marshmallow cream long John. The middle 1/3 had no cream so it's deceiving.

It's one of those touristy places that is "ok" but the hype around it makes you think it'll be amazing. Got there around 10am on a rainy Saturday and there was a line all the way through the space back to the door. The staff was friendly and handled it well. The cafe looked crazy with a line waiting for a table. The main issue, I think, is that none of the items in the case are labeled and move around throughout the day. So neither the staff or people ordering know what's available, where anything is, or where to go to look for anything in particular. If customers didn't have to ask 20 questions to get the 2-3 items they want the line might move quicker and the staff might be a bit less stressed. All that said: the donuts are fine. They're probably Krispy Kreme or Dunkin' quality. Taste like any other mass-produced, dialed in product from a shop that does ridiculous volume. Most stuff is just the same brioche or cake dough with different kitschy toppings. I think you could save yourself some time and a headache by going to Kwik Trip for some glazers and candy to put on top.

We were not aware of this bakery until we spoke with a local resident. WOW! seriously! We were staying at the Treasure Island Resort and made a day trip to Red Wing. So happy that this bakery made our Red Wing experience ever more special. The donuts and pastries were amazing. Maybe some of the best donuts ever. The fresh breads we purchased were also amazing. If you are in Red Wing you have to make this bakery one of your stops.

We were in Red Wing and wanted to check out the bakery voted "best in MN". I'll be honest, other than its massive size I don't personally think it's the best in the state, but probably the best in Red Wing. Their donuts are very typical, and they also sell breads, buns, and a limited supply of pastries.

We stopped in here on Saturday. I used to work in red wing and this place has changed a ton! Big indoor retail area! We got some sourdough which is good. We also got a few desserts from the bakery case. The cake pop was very rich, basically just filled with cookie dough. The coconut macaroon was dry and bland. The sugar cookie also had very little flavor. The thing that really got me was all the flies in the bakery case. I watched over 20 files just landing on all the items in the bakery case. That really grossed me out!

One of the best donuts I've had. We stopped by on a Saturday morning before leaving Red Wing. The staff was very friendly and the donuts look glorious inside the display case. We purchased two rolls and four donuts. So far they have all been very good and we will be back for a return trip

Took a little day trip to Red Wing and knew I had to stop by one of the most talked-about bakeries in Minnesota, and wow, it did not disappoint! I stopped in around 2:45pm on a Saturday, and the place was definitely busy, which I took as a good sign. Despite the crowd, the staff kept things moving efficiently, calling up the next customer as soon as they were ready. I appreciated the semi- organization. The gal who helped me was polite, but nothing particularly memorable just kind of neutral service. The bakery itself is large, well-lit, and decorated with bright colors that make it feel fun and welcoming. It has a really cheerful vibe, and everything is displayed beautifully. Now let's talk about that bakery case... HUGE. One of the biggest I've seen, packed with donuts, cookies, cakes, and so much more. I wanted to try it all, but I narrowed it down to just one item: a chocolate cake topped with chocolate mousse, nuts, and a chocolate drizzle. WOW! This thing was SCRUMPTIOUS. Light yet rich, and totally indulgent without being too heavy. A total YUMMMOOO moment! Already looking forward to my next visit and yup, I'll definitely be back to try more!

Cute little place. We were passing through on a road trip and it's always been on my bakery bucket list to try. I love the little coffee shop too! We got a variety of donuts and pastries. The glazed raised is by far the best glazed I've ever had. The cake donuts were great too! The cream cheese danish might have been our favorite. Wow! It was early when we got there so maybe the staff just had an off day. We weren't greeted nor told what anything was so we were just guessing. Which is ok, we like to try new things. We did get a couple other things too. A white chocolate raspberry scone, not my favorite. Quite salty? Got a Caramel nut roll, was a bit dry but warmed up with a glass of milk and it was good. I'm a sugar cookie lover so when I saw they had some with buttercream on top, I had to get one! I was very disappointed as it was the most bland and not good tasting cookie. I did throw it away. Other than the couple things we will absolutely be back for the cream cheese danish, raised glazed and cake donuts. So glad we got to try it!

LOADS of options. We came later in the day which does make me question their freshness though. Everything we got was pretty good, nothing life changing, but hits the spot when you're craving a sweet treat! The person working seemed truly disinterested in our existence, but idk not gonna let that be part of my rating bc sometimes days are hard.

Super spot to stop and grab something delicious! We bought a yummy fruit cake, a coconut almond brittle and some donuts. They did not dissapoint! Service was quick and easy as well! Nothing fancy but clean & good bathrooms and seating! Stop on by!

We like to stop whenever we're on a roadtrip in that direction. It had changed since last we were there - remodeled a bit. While we enjoy coming there, we felt that the ladies behind the counter were very anxious to have customers make selections quickly . The one that waited on us was even rude. No smiles just standing there like we were taking too much time. I understand it's a busy bakery but we were there after 3 PM so the morning rush has definitely been long over. She didn't seem like she wanted to help us and when we asked for a bag for all the items we bought she never said a word just grabbed one and put our stuff inside. Hopefully next time we stop the attitudes will be improved!

They were out of Keish. But the donuts and danishes and everything was good. We overdosed on sugar for sure. Would recommend.

I consider myself a "obsessed foodie " so I was pleased when Cory the chef came out of the kitchen and walked around the dining room. We were having a cocktail at the bar so we waved him over to ask what he recommended . I took his advice and ordered the scallops. They were cooked perfectly. Very tender and paired really well with the roasted corn and bacon. The whipped feta was very cold, which was interesting, but the flavor was tangy so it offset the richness of the bacon and scallops. The beef tenderloin was delicious cooked perfect medium rare. The broccolini was a little tough and the blue cheese sauce could have been a little thicker. It was kind of runny. I will be back to try more items on the menu. Excited the restaurant is open again.

There was a 45-minute wait for a table for two but we snagged a couple spots at the bar and sat down right away. The bartender/waitress was a pure delight. Hubby and I both ordered the eggs Benedict with a side of hashbrowns. Everything was perfectly cooked and we were delighted with the crispy hash browns Strangely, we find crispy, perfectly cooked hashbrowns very rarely. And we have breakfast out fairly often. This restaurant nailed it! The prices are very reasonable, and the service was great. Highly recommend!

The two of us opted for the grandest option of All You Can Eat, which included a choice of potato, shrimp, and the salad bar. The salad bar area is small and rather crammed to the side of a back dining room, but it absolutely delighted me. There were rolls and butter pats, and a whole array of salads that felt like the same mix you'd find at a great Midwest potluck. I sampled several, but I absolutely LOVED the broccoli bacon salad and the Snickers salad! My husband opted for the simple lettuce salad with croutons. Service was consistently slow during our visit, just as a matter of timing--they looked short-staffed during the lunch rush, and the workers were being run off their feet! They were moving nonstop. I had broiled fish with shrimp and a baked potato. Perfectly cooked, flavorful fish. I loved the breading on the shrimp. I had butter and sour cream along with my potato. I didn't get seconds. My husband had the standard fried fish, shrimp, and fries, and really enjoyed them, and he did request a few more pieces of fish. They came out, piping hot. I want to come back here sometime and try the pie!
