If you're looking for a little cafe to work from that prides themselves in their dairy. Look no further. I got the broccoli cheddar and it is SO cheesy. I had to stop a little earlier (not their fault I'm just not used to broccoli cheddar soup with actual cheese!! And I'm a lil lactose intolerant. They do have dairy free milk like almond milk. Service is leisurely in pace but not in a bad way. And the space itself is so cute with lots of light. Way more than I was expecting. Nice spot. I'm glad I stopped

The coffee and ice cream are very pleasant, but the true highlight for me is the grilled cheese sandwiches made with their own crafted cheese. Literally the best I have ever had. Even the tomato soup was exceptionally gourmet. Cannon Belle's ingredients are fresh and local, and you can definitely tell. I took home a block of their queso fresco and wow is it delicious and creamy. Very lucky this place is close to home.

This place is truly a hidden gem! The atmosphere is inviting and fun with plenty of room for any size group to meet up and enjoy coffee with delicious food offerings, award winning cheese, and their newest addition: ice cream flights!!! So grab you hang and get a sugar cookie latte (my personal fav!), Fernando's turkey wrap, and linger till you have room to down an ice cream flight. The owner's are nice, the coffee and espresso drinks are always on par, and the baristas are friendly. I love taking home their cheese that they make for sandwiches, dips, and charcuterie boards!

Adorable local place from the outside. I love to support local coffee houses so I stopped in. Inside I found a more serious (in a good way) - meaning efficient and recognizing what customers would want and find important. They know their location! It isn't just local coffee. And I don't mean, they happen to brew...they have their own brew. They sell their own beans so you can bring them home and grind it yourself for equal freshness. They also make their own ice cream AND cheese! And offer products with cows on them. The chai was available dirty ... mixed with espresso... and spicy. A taste of original chai from Asia not Minnesota. But it was also available as "chai" which would be what most Minnesotans probably are used to. They span the spectrum of taste pretty seamlessly. If you aren't sure what you like, just ask the incredibly helpful staff! I went in for a single cup of simple coffee and left with a spicy dirty chai, a handmade scrub and a baseball style shirt...and plans to return!

I finally got to go here yesterday afternoon. I know one of the owners and it's so exciting to know they have a venue to showcase their delectable treats. We came specifically for the ice cream and got some cheese to go, too. I look forward to getting a coffee in the near future. I didn't count how many, but they had multiple ice cream flavors to choose from. I selected the candy bar flavor, one scoop on a cake cone. It was a very generous portion and I loved the candy nougat in my ice cream. I even got to sample my husby's Mackinac Island Fudge - also very tasty! The shop has a great little sofa and seats, and cool coffee table (made with coffee beans visible through the clear lacquer) right inside the entrance. There are other tables scattered throughout and repurposed church pews for seating. And even a window bar seating on the other side of the entrance. With our cheese to go, we enjoyed jalapeño cheese curds on our burgers for dinner! Yum! We will be back. ----stopped here in mid Sept for coffee in the AM then went grape picking at the winery, only to return for dessert after. I didn't try it but the black licorice is on my list!

Great coffee and service. A welcomed island among the Dead Sea of mediocrity. A castaway's respite.

Parking is easy, as there is a free public lot about 50 feet away, and street parking is also available. The workers are always friendly, and often will give you cheese samples (yum). I have never had a bad sandwich here. Some favorites are the chicken salad, the prosciutto-fig-ricotta, and the sweet chorizo. Today, I ordered the Turkey club and the Sandwich of the Week, the La Tur, which had a cow, goat and sheep milk cheese with blueberry honey jam, greens and bacon. It was good, but don't get this sandwich unless you like cheeses that REALLY have that sheep flavor! There are a few small tables for 2 tucked inside by the register, and a couple of small tables outside in nice weather, but this is really more of a grab'n go place. We took these on the plane with us the next day, as we were traveling. Pro Tip: You can earn France 44 rewards at this location, just tell them you are a member when you get to the register!

It was the perfect consistency, seasoned really well, and can still taste the freshness of the tomatoes. For the melt, I got the truffle that came with double cream brie, gruyere, mushrooms, honey and black truffle. Everything was melted to perfection and the truffle was delicious without being overwhelming. The bread had a really good crunch to give some texture with the melty gooey cheese. Despite having so much cheese, it wasn't a super heavy meal. More of a take out place. There's a couple tables outside to eat but it was also really windy and hot the day I went so I ate pretty quickly.

Now run by third-generation owners, it expanded to retailing fine wine and cheeses as well. I stopped in to buy some house gifts, and was pleasantly surprised by its very large selection of products, displayed in a way that it was enjoyable to do some 'window shopping'. In my case, I focused on the whiskey's and found what I was hoping for (from the Nikka distillery, a place I had visited a long time ago). But surprisingly it carried American made whiskey (in this case, from the Seattle area) for a price that was lower than what I had paid when actually visiting the distillery itself. I took the time to walk around a bit, noticing that they had an entire section devoted to just German and Austria wines. (Would have been shocked to find wines from Luxembourg, which is on my list). There were also a large beer refrigerated room, as big as any I've seen at big retailers. Of course, it had the beers from the Midwest that are hard to find where I live now (Leinenkugel, Hamm's, and Zywiec). Also noticed a small display of cigars, protected behind locked glass. Ended up getting two Westland Single Malt 750ml for $56.99 each. Checkout was identical to any large liquor store chain (like a grocery store checkout with employees who do checkout and are not really knowledgeable about the products sold).
