I called her the next day saying i would like to moved forward working for them. No call backs regardless of multiple polite messages id left. Not even a call saying they are no longer interested. My sister worked there 7 years ago i told her the starting wage and she said it was the same all those years ago. Very unprofessional and no pay increases since then really speaks volumes on how much they care about their employees.

She introduced herself as both our server and the bartender, and from that point on, she handled everything beautifully. She remembered our orders, delivered everything correctly, kept an eye on the table without hovering, and had thoughtful recommendations whenever we asked. That combination of efficiency, knowledge, and personality is increasingly hard to find! What we especially enjoyed was that Martiza wasn't simply "doing her job" -- she engaged with us. She was warm, funny, personable, and had a great sense of humor. The easy banter between Martiza and the manager was especially entertaining and gave the restaurant a relaxed, genuinely welcoming feeling. And the manager deserves recognition as well. Equally personable and attentive, it was obvious that providing a great guest experience mattered. Seeing a manager actively engaged with both the staff and guests always says a lot about how a restaurant is run. Most importantly, the food delivered, too! Our group of five thoroughly enjoyed our meals, and everything arrived as ordered and well prepared. Great food can bring you into a restaurant, but it's the people who make you want to return. Martiza and the manager did exactly that. The tacos came with queso fresco/cotija, iceberg lettuce, but no cilantro and onion like advertised or seen in the other photos on Yelp. The chicken was shredded, but other than that fairly unremarkable. Their beans, rice and salsas were good, but I didn't go there for that. Unfortunately, I wouldn't visit this taco truck again. Coronas Tacos and Tacos Mi Pueblo are better options.

By 2:15 my stomach told me i was full and I no longer wanted ribs.... but... we ordered them so they showed up a minute or so later..... and even though I was full.... man these ribs were amazing. We only got three of them and gosh, you could taste the smoke on them....They weren't fall off the bone tender which some people like but me? I prefer tender but enough to stay on the bone so i can gnaw them off with my teeth.... they were really good. Along with the bright lighting and well-organized shelves stacked with the whole gamut of traditional spices, jams, pita bread, cookies, and teas (to name only a few of the items they had), this place exceeded my expectations. Many international grocers have no desire to spruce up their stores because they know the focused customer base will continue to shop there, especially if there is no nearby competition. However, this place does an excellent job of appealing to the general public, with its ample selection of meats, cheeses, frozen and dried goods. If you plan on visiting the store on Fridays, remember that its closed around noon. I forgot what time exactly, but it is listed on the front door. I parked on the street at a metered spot right in front of the store and did not notice a nearby lot for shoppers.
