Amazing little cafe in Welch!! We pass through once per year and this is definitely going to be an annual stop! The menu had very unique local ingredients and it was hard to choose just one item! Had many gluten-free and gluten friendly options. The owner greeted us and was very prompt and took great care of everyone in the cafe. Highly recommend.

Such good food and great service. Food takes a while, but it is totally worth it They have outdoor and indoor seating and have ice cream as desert. So close to the bike trail and the canoe place.

I've driven by this place several times on our way to go skiing. So glad we stopped today! The brunch special (chilaquiles w/ chorizo) was fantastic. My wife had the breakfast tacos (w/ blue corn tortillas, naturally) & they were also extremely tasty. The entire menu looked good. Can't wait to come here again!

I knew their tasty ice cream, but it be good menu is new to me. Nice old building , easy to park, timely service, waitress did good job explaining many sandwiches or foods are made from scratch: she was right. Everything was tasty and prices within normal limits. Many customers there were returning ones!!! Good food indeed.

We loved this place right off the bike trail! We both ordered awesome sandwiches and service was friendly. We sat on their cute little patio. Can't wait to visit again!

The Bleu Dog Cafe has great food, great service, and a cool setting! I had the Jenny Cakes, huge, thick pancakes with a mixed berry compote & fresh whipped cream topping. It came with a side cup of fake maple syrup (my only complaint). My boyfriend had eggs, bacon, & breakfast potatoes. He said it was fast....I stole some of the bacon...very yummy! The location is in an OLD bank, very fun! It is a small location, but we were there around 9 a.m. on a dreary, fall Saturday morning. I think there were only 2 other occupied tables. More people came in as we were there. Amanda, our server, was very nice and made sure we had plenty of coffee! We will absolutely go back!!!

A cute little place tucked away into no-man's-land. Today I had the burger. It was phenomenal. The menu is very small, but the food is amazingly good. And if you love scenic roadways, this is the place to be

My husband and I enjoyed a great Italian salad and too much delicious ice cream, sitting on the sunny patio in the back. The small, but varied, menu probably changes frequently and we plan to return.

Cheeseburger, fries with garlic aioli, cous cous salad.

I did a search on Yelp and came across this place that was only a few minutes off our route and it was more than worth the extra 5 mins. The interior was filled with little signs and rubber ducks. For drinks I ordered the Bloody Mary which came with a spotted cow chaser and my husband ordered the mimosa. We spotted they had spotted cow cheese curds and ordered these. They were absolutely amazing and rivaled the Mouth Trap Cheese Curds you get at the Minnesota State Fair. For entrees I ordered the Butcher Omelet with Hollandaise and it was so delicious and packed with fillings. I had no hope in finishing it so we took it home for leftovers. My husband ordered the Three Little Pigs Benedict and noted it was a top 3 benedicts he has ever had (he loves benedicts). I also ordered a cold brew cocktail I think it was the Spiked Salty Caramel and it was delicious and decadent! The entire time we were there people kept stopping in and visiting the bartender to get drinks and it was so fun to see. She was absolutely so fantastic and one of those bartenders you would go back to see over and over. Just a bummer its not close to our house. I would recommend this place to anyone who is over in this area. It is so perfect!

There was a 45-minute wait for a table for two but we snagged a couple spots at the bar and sat down right away. The bartender/waitress was a pure delight. Despite how crazy busy it was, she was pleasant and helpful and efficient. (I'm sorry I can't remember her name.) And they were offering free mimosas to all the ladies which was a nice bonus. Hubby and I both ordered the eggs Benedict with a side of hashbrowns. Everything was perfectly cooked and we were delighted with the crispy hash browns Strangely, we find crispy, perfectly cooked hashbrowns very rarely. And we have breakfast out fairly often. This restaurant nailed it! The prices are very reasonable, and the service was great. Highly recommend!

The place we were going to go was closed, so we crossed the street to find the Red Wing Café. This is one of those places that you discover by happy accident and are thrilled that luck made it possible. It's also one of those places that I wished was in MY neighborhood in Minneapolis so I could be a regular. The place was warm and cozy, even in February. Although it was packed, we scored a table. It has all day breakfasts and my wife ordered the pecan Belgian waffle. I was more than amazed that it was served with a bottle of pure maple syrup from a place in nearby Wisconsin. Real maple syrup is usually an upcharge in most restaurants these days. It was all the crispy and gooey goodness that you could hope for. All of the breakfasts at the tables around us looked great, so I started to regret my choice of the hot turkey sandwich I ordered with fries (as a substitute for the mashed potatoes). My regret turned to joy because this was one of the best hot turkey sandwiches I've had, and believe me, I've had many! The turkey slices was thickly carved, juicy, and fresh. The gravy, which is usually the downfall, was absolutely wonderful. Not too salty and perfectly flavored. My mouth is watering as I'm typing this! The fries were hot and crispy. Even the coffee was great. I know where we are eating the next time we visit Red Wing.

I ordered the French toast. It arrived barely warm, and after almost finishing the first slice... I found a hair. The other meal went like this: "I'll have the soup, salad, and bread." "What kind of soup?" we asked. "The soup of the day," the server replied. We looked at each other and thought, Okay... surprise soup. "So what are the bread choices?" (Thinking breadsticks, garlic toast, something...) "It's like toast." "Okay... wheat toast then." The meal arrived: Soup was cold and looked like Campbell's Chunky Soup. Salad was warm, consisting of iceberg lettuce and a quarter slice of tomato. Wheat toast was cold. Crackers were stale. Needless to say, neither of us finished our meals. I politely pointed out the hair to the server. Her response? "Oh... do you want me to have them make another one?" Ummm... no. Then came the bill: about $24. Nothing was taken off. No discount. No real apology until I mentioned paying full price for a meal with a hair in it. Then, to top it all off, they asked if we wanted a to-go box. For what,, the hair!! At that point, all we could do was laugh. It was honestly one of the most unbelievable dining experiences I've ever had.
