Service leaves a lot to be desired! I was interested in learning a bit more about the flavors and recommendations the baker/cashier was not interested in assisting much. I did end up getting the wedding cake cupcake. It was okay. The cupcake itself is a bit dry and the frosting is not sweet (the baker did warn me). I quite enjoyed the lemon filling but don't know if I'd be returning due to the flavor. They do offer treats for dogs so that's a win! They also have macaroons and non cupcake treats. I got the gf salted Carmel and my husband got the regular peanut butter crunch. The cupcakes were good but that's it. They were good. The frosting was very very very light whipped with little flavor. The cupcake itself was moist and tasty but lacking. We've had better (both gf and regular cupcakes). Price wise isn't bad. We weren't blown away. Short version - service was great, store was very clean, but it was a very expensive trip ($41) for 6 macarons and 3 cupcakes. The items were too sweet, texture was inconsistent, and it lacked the advertised flavors. Long version - We are new to the area, so we stopped in to see what they offer. This is a cute shop and easy to get to. It's very clean and the cashier that helped us was very kind. We bought 3 cupcakes (2 carrot cake and 1 red velvet) and a box of 6 assorted macarons. Presentation wise - they are beautiful! Unfortunately, we didn't care for the taste. The cake part of the cupcake was ok. The carrot cakes had a nice subtle flavor. The red velvet cake didn't taste like much of anything. The icing on all three is what ruined it for us. The icing tasted and had the consistency of straight butter and sugar. It didn't compliment the cake at all, and felt like the ratios were off. We also expected a cream cheese frosting, given the cake flavors, and that was a surprise. We tasted each of the 6 macarons. Throughout the pack, each one was way too sweet. It was difficult to distinguish the flavor of each, except for the chocolate/brownie batter one. The texture wasn't consistent either - some were too caky, maybe from being in the cooler? Unfortunately, we won't be back, but wish the owner the best. read more

Came back here again- fairy fuel cupcake is officially now my favorite. First time ever trying an elderberry merengue buttercream. Delightful Bavarian surprise tucked inside the angelic cupcake. This owner and pastry chef is truly gifted. She makes morsels of heaven that will make you giddy like a child just selecting one of these beautiful cupcakes. When I walked in the first thing I noticed was how clean and modern the place was! I love the colors they used and everything was perfect! It's worth noting that they have free wifi! So this would be a great place to grab a treat and study or work!! The service was fast and friendly. No one was at the counter when I first walked in, and I thought may be it was closing for the day. But someone came out fairly quickly. Today I tried 4 different cupcakes. They do have coffees, different drinks, ice cream, cupcakes, cookies and cakes. My honest review of the cupcakes: Pros: -The cake itself is moist and has a great texture!! Very tasty! - The fillings were a surprise and were very tasty, I'm not sure if all the cupcakes are filled. -The buttercream is extremely smooth! Cons: -There is just soooo much buttercream frosting! My family and I ended up scraping some off. -There really isn't any flavor to the buttercream. The Cookie Blast had a little bit of sweetness but it honestly tasted like eating whipped butter off cake... I appreciate that the frosting isn't overly sweet but it just doesn't really taste like anything. I really liked the vibe, service and would love to come back and try other treats from this place! Sweet Treasures has the BEST gluten free cupcakes in the metro and equally good are the regular cupcakes. They have good coffee and tea selections and a very clean seating area with comfy chairs, so it's nice to take a moment and sit with your cupcake and hot beverage and enjoy "me" time or with friends. All of the ingredients are imported from Germany and the frosting is Italian meringue which is this light glossy foam, not the traditional heavy and super sweet butter cream like most served on the market. We have been to Sweet Treasures a few times so far but on this last order of a dozen cupcakes we spent around $ 75.00. We ordered a dozen cupcakes for a friend and a church group. When we found out our friend who's birthday we were celebrating injured her leg while on vacation couldn't be with us & the church group when we were all together. We tried to get a separate container for a few cupcakes to give the individual who had injured her leg because she was unable to join us. It was very disappointing after spending this amount on cupcakes we could not get a smaller separate container to store these cupcakes & present them to her for her birthday without spending a additional 4.00 for a box. Really? We felt it was a small request and not unreasonable. Where is the customer satisfaction? Don't get me wrong, the products that are showcased are delicious and worth the extra cost for a special occasion. But after this incident we will limit our visitations, my wife was very disappointed. read more

Sweet Treasures never disappoints with their cupcakes or other offerings. Although I will admit, I always order cupcakes! They are just that good. Our favorite flavors are cookie blast, salted caramel, hot fudge, and carrot cake. Ann, the owner, is a wonderful human being and deserves so much credit for all the work she does to keep her business going and contributing to her community while recovering from cancer; something I know she would never advertise or make a stink about, but deserves so much credit and support for. She's such an inspiration and such a strong and talented woman. If you are in the neighborhood, stop by and grab a latte and a special treat...her sweet little bakery shop is a wonderful spot to hang out for a bit of serenity and a sweet pick me up! I love this shop. The cupcakes are perfectly moist and sweet. Ann strives for perfection. The cupcakes are bigger than your average cupcake. If you need a cookie, muffin, cake pop, or whatever else Ann decides to bake, you are in luck. All of her desserts are delicious.
