Strawberry pop tart. Black coffee and Arnie Palmer.

The gf baked goods never fail to impress me here - they are delicious! Highly recommend the mushroom egg bake; my fiancé and I were obsessed with the flaky crust. We also love the pop tarts. On top of the food, I love the outdoor seating on a warm day. Not too much seating indoors, fyi, but there is a cozy spot right by the window.

Quaint atmosphere when you step into this bakery. Both the interior and the staff are very inviting. Chocolate Spencer Cake was very delicious, moist, and soft. Highly recommend looking into the sandies as well. Food was reasonably priced too. Would love to try their drinks and other baked goods next time.

I've been gluten-free for health reasons for over three years now. One of the things that is very hard to find is pastries that are structurally sound and tasty. I visited Hold The Wheat by recommendation of another fellow gluten-free individual and I am SO glad I did. I purchased the coffee cake, a danish, and a blueberry pop tart. They were all amazing, and my gluten-eating friend I shared them with also enjoyed them. The staff were knowledgeable and welcoming and there were lots of gluten-free treats to choose from! I will definitely be back when I'm in the area!

Delicious pastries for everyone, whether you're gluten free or not! I placed an online order and everything went smoothly. The physical space itself is very cute and cozy, too. The pop tart was the favorite!

I am a gluten free gal and this place is my Mecca! I love all the delightful treats they have to offer! I have even used them to cater desserts at my parties! If you are going and want to try just one thing, get the lemon Spencer cake. Their toaster strudels are top-notch as well as their warm breakfast bites. I love walking here and grabbing a coffee. In the summertime I have sat outside on their patio, I've also sit in their main room as well. On the weekends, they have other vendors there with fun treats and things to buy as well. The owners are so sweet and kind, I love the staff that work there. I always end up with way more treats than I need, but spoil myself days upon days later! Even if I wasn't gluten-free, this place would still be top of my list. I even get it for Work birthdays, for people who are not gluten-free. And no one knows the difference.

Holy cow. Their Spencer cakes have to be some of the moistest, most delicious GF baked goods I have ever had. I inhaled the lemon and the celebration ones after a day of travel back to NJ and immediately wished I had ordered five more. It was hard to follow them with the coffee cake so after one bite I decided to leave that one for the morning but it was also definitely a cut above the rest.

Absolutely delightful little bakery. Everything was DELICIOUS. The lemon loaf was almost a little too moist for me personally, but my friend loved it and I know many people will!! I am looking forward to coming back again to try more of everything. They have coffee as well, which I will also be returning for! We got to chat with the owner when we came in and she was so delightful and clearly passionate about the business. There's an adorable little seating area to sit and eat your goodies, and I was a huge fan of the decor they had up as well as the playlist they had going. And, to my absolute delight, the music was at a nice low volume level. I'm super eager to return here!!

I stopped here during a weekday around 12 ish. It was busy as heck! I was behind a few people and the gal at the front was ordering half of the bakery (literally). This is kinda expected, and also the gal running the cash register was not handling it well... at. all. Most people in line were chill, but the cashier was rude, huffy, and snappy toward customers due to irritation with the gal at the front of the line. Which to be fair -- this woman was being annoying (ordering a lot, had kids running about, a bit inconsiderate of the line behind her, wandering and not paying) ... and, no one else was upset but the cashier lol. AND this customer likely spent 100++ dollars. This younger gals demeanor was very very disappointing and the result of my four stars. She snapped at an elderly woman when she asked a question (which determined if she should stay in line), and was short, not super engaging when I attempted to joke / lighten the mood with her upon paying. I was tempted to go for three stars -- BUT the goodies and gal who bagged my goodies up, was very sweet in demeanor. I ordered 6 treats (5 cupcakes, one coffee cake), and one chicken sausage potato pie. I got this all for my boss who is celiac and was so happy to have a safe place to order this. And everything was delectable that I tried. The cupcakes were absolutely moist, sweet, and flavorful. The coffee cake had undertones of amaratto. The breakfast chicken sausage pie was less flavorful but not greasy or fatty, and had its own hearty flavor. It was still super tasty with some peppers in it and some cheese on it (would love to see no cheese offered on future ones as an option). I will absolutely visit again as I can tell the mission of this bakery is very good hearted, with a cozy setup, and the gluten free treat bakery is so rare. I do hope to have a better experience with the employee as this can really make or break experiences. I feel bad for the woman who spent tons of money and health with a very bluntly rude cashier and the elderly woman who got snapped at for asking where utensils were.

1000/5. The best gf cupcake I have ever had in my entire life. My husband surprised me with cupcakes from here. He said the shop was very cute. At first glance the cupcakes looked a little sad but after my first bite I was in love. There was so much flavor and it was very moist. I liked how the frosting wasn't just on top but the sides too. It wasn't too sweet. The price is also incredible. Very very reasonable for gf food. We 1000% will be going back for more.

blueberry poppy seed loaf and snuggle pie
    Marina H.

First time going to a gluten free bakery and was pleasantly surprised! The snuggle pie was super flaky and really buttery. The poppyseed loaf tasted exactly like a normal poppyseed baked good. Wasn't too sweet which I really liked. There's not much seating inside and a few tables outside so def take to go.
