Stopped here to grab coffee before heading to work. Not sure if it's a single staff person every morning but they for sure need a few more baristas for the morning rush. There were 3 people ahead of me in line plus a few customers waiting at tables for orders. I will say the barista was working hard at getting the drinks out as fast as he could. Very efficient. Once I seen that they serve food (light bites but still needing prep) I was hesitant to stay in line out of fear that one of the people would order something and I'd be late for work waiting but glad I stayed (even though I was still pushing it). They also take online orders btw. So probably not idea if you are in a time crunch. I ordered the oat milk matcha latte and a vanilla latte and used my coffee compass for bogo free deal. Both drinks were good and the price wasn't too bad. The summer drink menu was mostly coconut themed - almost every drink. If you love coconut you should check it out. The overall vibe was chill. Liked the music playing- wasn't too loud. Plenty of seating and even a smaller patio out back. Parking can be challenging in this area as the streets are pretty busy and single lane.

Amaze-balls. Everyone is so nice the chef and baristas were the best. Name the best latte I ever had and pumpkin bread. Like what?! the cafe is super cute too. Art on the walls and the cutest merch. Great job Jones coffee! Thanks

I visited the Jones Coffee in Linden Hills neighborhood of Minneapolis. I'll start by saying the only reason for a 4-star, and not the fault of the shop itself, is the location is in the heart of construction at the current moment. I was looking for a quiet place to work and enjoy the coffee outdoors, it was a little tougher with everything going on so the ambiance wasn't as spectacular with all the noise. Again, and I stress, not controlled by the shop itself. Inside, the little coffee shop has some great seating areas, although smaller and a little more narrow, there was still plenty of room for the folks visiting on a steady Wednesday. The coffee... that's was really tasty! I ordered their signature hot mocha with vanilla and it tasted wonderful. I love when a small coffee shop enjoys making the foam design on top. We complimented the barista on her artwork and she smiled and expressed that was her favorite part of the coffee. The staff was quick and friendly with the orders. This was a really nice place and very close to the Minneapolis lakes area. The perfect spot, especially when all the construction equipment moves out. I'd still recommend trying it out!!

Cafe and roastery on a super busy intersection in Fulton. Their space is pretty nice, but minimalistic. Lots of seating and nice amount of natural light. It's a decent place to get work done early but fills up around lunch and can get pretty loud. The baristas have been very friendly and helpful. I prefer the Upton & 42nd location but this one is nice if you're in the area. Lots of thrift stores and some food nearby. Their coffee is always pretty good but their beans are crazy expensive. I'm a big fan of their winter roasts and the South American beans. Always a great chocolate flavor. They've got a new-ish lunch and dinner menu that I've been meaning to try but just haven't gotten around to it when I don't have other plans. In addition they carry some pastries, gluten-free and regular, from local bakeries like Sift and 2 Daughters. My main complaint is that they don't have an option for free water; sparkling or still. Subjectively, a shot of espresso needs some sparkling water to prep/clean your tongue for full effect but even having just a tap would be nice. Seems like they want you to spend $6 on bottled. Which is ironic given how proud they are of the, objectively fantastic, Good-to-Go reusable cup program. I prefer their Linden Hills location (they have water and it's closer to me) but there are a ton of worth options in the area. I think I'd still go to Folly, Cafe Ceres, The Lynhall, Sparrow Cafe, or Honey & Rye if you just want to hang , drink some coffee and get some work done.

Starting this cold April Monday with one of my favorite breakfast burritos. Parking isn't great but that's fine because my van is in the shop next door getting new tires while I work here. Staff are super friendly and the music here is

NEW CAFE We now have TWO new coffee neighbors as of this week! You may have seen @jonesspecialtycoffee in the Minnetonka Library, which is a super great place! Now, the owner, Anthony Jones has turned his two Dunn Bro's locations into Jones Specialty Coffee! They are going to be doing full renovations to both of their locations in the coming months but will be functional as much as possible in the meantime! The coffee beans here are their own and their merchandise is simplistic and innovative! As for their menu, there are basics as well as #flavorfirst unique drinks, pastries, bagels and some gluten free options too Both location are spacious with plenty of seating as well as patio seating in the sun and in the shade AND, biggest bonus, free parking lots! 5008 Xerxes Ave S Minneapolis 2814 w 43rd St. Minneapolis

Banana bread enjoyed on their covered outdoor seating

Great service! The man at the counter recommended the chocolate chip banana bread because it is his favorite and the most popular. I'm glad I got it :) They definitely didn't skimp on the chocolate chips! I would for sure get it again, or try the cinnamon coffee cake muffin, which he also recommended! I choose to sit outside in their covered area, with LOTS of seating. Plenty of seating inside as well. Great spot to work, catch up with a friend or have a Bible study.

Solid drink, the cold brew wasn't super bitter from the coffee and the cold foam was not super sweet.

They're constantly rotating seasonal latte flavors, and I haven't had a single drink that I haven't enjoyed. They make their pastries in house and many of them are gluten-free and so delicious! You can buy their beans in store, online, and in some local grocery stores such as Lunds and Byerlys. There are tables inside their cafe that are great for working or catching up with friends. I had a private event where Edina Coffee Roasters came with their coffee cart and served drinks. Leading up to the event, Zach was so friendly and helpful. We were able to have custom signature lattes in addition to standard espresso-based drinks and chai lattes for our event. During the event, drinks were made quickly and Zach was super kind and friendly to all of my guests. I'd definitely recommend them for any event! I also attended an espresso making workshop and it was so fun and approachable! It was the perfect balance of information about technique and beans, and hands on learning. I learned how to measure and tamp coffee grounds, pull a shot, steam milk, and do latte art. The workshop was led by the owners, Zach and Sara, who were so kind and clearly passionate about what they do!

The cappuccino had the perfect foam, and we also tried the Trifecta coffee flight, which includes a hot brew, cold brew, and an espresso. They had a great selection of pastries as well, including scones and gluten and dairy free muffins.

The miso cortado was delicious and really stood out, and they have a great variety of specialty drinks. The service was also extremely kind and welcoming, which I genuinely appreciated. That said, the space didn't quite live up to the hype. The location felt a little unfinished. Minimal decor, unfinished flooring, and no truly cozy seating made it feel less like a place you'd want to settle into for a while. While they encourage people to linger and don't offer Wi-Fi (which I respect), the ambiance doesn't quite support that intention. It felt more like a quick in-and-out stop, even though that doesn't seem to be their goal. The atmosphere was chill, with vinyl records playing in the background, which was a nice touch. I just wish the overall design and seating matched that relaxed, stay-awhile vibe. Great coffee and kind staff, but the space itself didn't fully align with the experience I was hoping for.

What was the worse part was the customer service. We walked in about 10 minutes prior to closing. No welcome. No appreciation. Just short lipped service. That's what I remember most. I bought a bogo coffee book for 2026 and see this company in there, but I won't head to this location again. What was the most unwelcoming gesture the baristas did was shortly after walking in, one came over and shut off the lights. There were still about 10-15 people in the store. Mind you, this was 10 minutes prior to closing. I view that as disrespectful. I've never worked a customer service job where that would be deemed reasonable.

I know firsthand that coffee is king in Panama, so I figured anything inspired by their incredible coffee culture had to be worth trying. I visited Curioso on an early Sunday morning and immediately found it special. Not just for its coffee, but for the ambiance, service, and overall vibe. Curioso is a large, welcoming space that's part coffee bar, part brewery. I was immediately impressed by the variety of entertainment for all ages: arcade games, pool tables, dart boards, a skee-ball machine, board games, and even claw machines. Seating options are abundant, from cozy couches to tables and high-tops. There's a toddler play area and a library filled with books for all ages. The space feels family-friendly and is warm, welcoming community gathering space for all. I noticed flyers for free community events Curioso hosts, like Sunday Morning Yoga and Tuesday Trivia nights. The service was equally warm! The barista, although managing a busy Sunday morning solo, took her time to explain coffee options, highlight weekly specials with her own recommendations, and describe the pastries in partnership with Fruit & Grain and Bagels from St. Paul Bagelry. Oat milk is the standard for all their drinks! (Which I loved) We tried two speciality lattes: the "Butter Luck Next Year" (iced) and the "Blue Ribbon Peach Pie" (hot). Both were exceptional! Strong, robust, and delicious. Alongside, we also enjoyed an "Everything" handpie and a "Blueberry Lemon Curd" pop tart. Both pastries were out of this world delicious! I loooooved this pairing. I'm a sucker for savory, so the "Everything" handpie reigned supreme for me. Although I don't have a fur-baby (yet), I would like to include that Curioso is fur-friendly.
