    Sweet gallium latte

Love this cafe! I've been here a few times to get work done or meet up with friends and it's great for both. The ambiance is cool with art installations in a warehouse-like setting. They have wifi, plenty of seating, a large parking lot, and drinks as well as pastries. The baristas are also super friendly and helped me decide on which coffee beans to purchase last time. I usually get the sweet gallium latte which is their spin on a vanilla latte -- it's delicious but I'd recommend getting it half sweet.

Great matcha. Chill coffee shop atmosphere. To top it off, parking didn't suck! We will definitely be back.

It's a hidden gem in a gorgeous warehouse building! I had no idea the building was renovated because there's no signs on the exit from 94, but there's a big parking lot off the street shared by Lake Monster brewing. Huge windows with lots of light and plants everywhere. It's just in the lobby to the building so it's very open with two big tables and a counter with plug ins to work at. Most spots were filled from 10am-noon. Even with no walls, it's very quiet and peaceful. The wifi signal was strong and great for working there. The miel was incredible and oat milk was no upcharge. They had a limited coffee menu with a spiced latte as the only syrup option that I saw. The barista was super nice. There was a pastry case with a few options that looked amazing. It's very pricey for a coffee but it's a cool shop to try!

Fun coffee shop in a warehouse in St Paul. I wasn't expecting it to be in the lobby of the warehouse so it didn't have the coziest feel but there were plants everywhere and it was calm and there were enough tables and chairs to work at for everyone! And a wall of plug ins and free wifi. The miel (honey latte) was so good and smooth and they didn't charge extra for oat milk. They also had pastry options and sell bags of coffee. It's right across from Lake Monster Brewing company so you can head over there for a drink after! And there was a Thai food truck outside when I was there on a Tuesday evening.

This place is heavenly! Sam is a wonderful and personable barista who makes your drink at the counter when you order. There is plenty of seating in this decoratively sprawled warehouse space on the first floor of the Vandalia Tower, making it an ideal study environment. There's even a corner outside the counter with lots of plants and greenery, very cute. I ordered the Sweet Galium, a take on the classic vanilla latte. The espresso was rich and the drink was immensely smooth. This is how coffee should be crafted! I'm not surprised this spot is rated one of Minnesota's best; glad I went out of my way to experience this gem.

Im from out of town, so it was a little hard to spot it. Its inside the buildings near the parking lot. The coffee was great and the staff was nice. I just got a coffee to go, but nice little spot

An outstanding coffee shop located in one of the best places in Saint Paul! I love this place, because it is vintage Saint Paul, at its finest! As you walk into the coffee shop, you'll notice the warehouse, feel of the area with open, seating, high ceilings, and plenty of space to drink and socialize. The barista's know what they're doing, so make sure you not only order your favorite coffee, but savor the flavor! I love areas with plenty of creative space in this building definitely has it! The people are friendly, the atmosphere is golden and the coffee unforgettable! One of my favorite places to drink, work, and eat!

There are maybe very very few coffee shops that allow dogs indoors around Minneapolis-St. Paul and specifically a space that is large enough for me to bring my pup(s) and have our own comfy spot while not feeling too cramped or in anyone's way. The iced dolce was fantastic and I was able to sit and read for a while with my pup Raya. Definitely going back!

I am not usually a coffee drinker, but this place has great lattes. So smooth and not too sweet, which I love! I wish they had a medium-sized drink as their small is too small, and the larger one is a bit too big. I've always gotten the bigger size and ended up finishing it throughout the day!! My favorites - chai latte, spygirl (lavender/honey latte), solid gold (turmeric latte). Still have a few others that I want to try while I am still in MN. Definitely going to miss this spot when I go back home!

The lobby itself is very stylish, with big dark bookshelves, large plants, big fireplace, cozy and comfortable seating, tables, a pool table, etc. When we visited it was decorated for Christmas and that alone was worth the visit! The coffee was delicious and service good. My husband and I both ordered the seasonal "Shakespeare's Fool" which was delicious in decaf and regular. The latte art on top was a plus! The only downside or thing to know is that this location will not accept Spyhouse giftcards because it is part of the hotel. I came wanting to use one, so this was a bummer but I understand and the barista was very apologetic. As a side note about the business, it's impossible to check your giftcard balance online. So while I'd like to use my giftcard, I'm unsure if I will realistically be able to soon!

Owner Steve is the master at roasting coffee beans and he roasts right on site at this coffee shop. I've been coming here for years and continue to come here because the coffee is just that damn good. I can always measure the quality of a cup by ordering up a hot latte and fell in love from the first sip. Try the "Saratoga" hot (latte with honey and vanilla). Thank you Steve and team for a fabulous place that always feels like my home away from home. Wonderful outside patio area and all the customers here that I run into are always the friendliest! Don't expect fancy artwork on your drink - but if the roast and vibe are your thing, this is THE PLACE to get a good cup! Tons of coffee from around the world roasted on site for purchase as well. My girlfriend recently purchased an espresso machine and I treated her to J&S Bean Factory's Espresso Blend which for me is where it all begins. Hands down amazing place. I have been to so many coffee shops over the years, many from the Seattle area and everywhere in between and J&S still stands out above all of them for the simplest reasons - the coffee just tastes fabulous and I never leave here disappointed. Also a great place to bring your doggie!

They have a huge variety of beans, and they will grind them for you if you like. The shop is small, and it has that awesome coffee aroma inside and out, but their coffee is plenty expensive. Also, be warned that if you're the type of person who likes to enjoy their coffee without politics, you might be somewhat put off by the Liberal-forward vibe of this shop, what with some of the coffees being named after Liberal politicians, ie "Obama Blend" or as others have mentioned here a coffee named after Bernie Sanders. The staff at the shop were always polite enough to me, and I never experienced name calling as another reviewer did, but then I don't wear my politics on my sleeve or confront others about theirs. After all, I only went there to buy coffee, not change the world or anyone's philosophical, political, or religious views. Recently, (January 2026), I drove the 15 some-odd miles to their shop only to find they had closed that day to attend protests in a "No Work, No School, No Shopping" strike due to law enforcement activity in the cities. I enjoy supporting local small businesses, but the "Politics First, Customer Last" business model doesn't work for me. Besides, I feel like they must be doing pretty well financially if they can just close up shop unannounced without so much as a notification on their website or phone answering message to warn customers who might actually be driving a fair distance, burning real gasoline which costs real money, to buy their stuff. I liked their coffee, but it just isn't worth the expense or inconvenience to me anymore, so I go elsewhere.
