Minnehaha Scoop is located on a corner with (free) street parking available. Seating available is only outside, but dog friendly. On a Friday, around 6:20 pm, my husband, our little girl dog and I decided to try the ice cream here on our last night in Minneapolis since it was so close to our vacation rental. After trying a few samples of their ice cream flavors, I ended up ordering: 2 Scoops, $6: moose tracks & birthday cake- I am such a fan of birthday cake flavored desserts and thought Minnehaha Scoop's flavor was good. You can taste the sprinkles and vanilla, which complemented each other. I liked the chocolate in the moose tracks. The 2 scoops was more than enough for the 3 of us to share. But my husband thought it would be better to let our little girl get her own order of ice cream... Doggie Sundae, $2.50.- This comes with 1 scoop of plain ice cream and a handful of dog treats adoring that scoop. My husband tried our little girl's ice cream, which tasted like a plain milk flavor. Our little girl really liked it, along with the treats. But this is definitely a lot for a small dog and would be great to share between 2 small little pups or maybe good enough for a larger dog. ----------------------- (Total= $8.50, tax included) Please note that there is a minimum of $10 for credit card transactions and that this place cannot take bills larger than $20. Also there are no public restrooms available. Minnehaha Scoop is a great local neighborhood ice cream place with numerous of flavors offered each day. If only we lived around here, we would be a regular here, especially during the summer.

We got the coupon on the mail and it looks awesome so we have it a try for something different. Of course we didn't bring the coupon but oh well. The ice cream was good. Service was great. Love samples. They had some unusual flavors but hard to remember. I wanted to try their raspberry rhapsody but they were out and so I went with their coconut almond bliss. It didn't have a lot of coconut or almond so that was nice. The chocolate blends the ingredients tighter for a nice crunchy, salty tastes. The waffle cone was good. It was little pricey for a single scoop and you can get it in a cup or cone but on the menu board it only shows come.

This was my first time here, I live only blocks away but not a big ice cream person. That said, this place was awesome! They have a wide variety of flavors (see pic) and also have dairy free ice cream. My favorite item here however was the root beer float. The prices are fair (see pic) and the staff was really friendly. I'll definitely be coming back.

This place is solid. Super friendly and quick, excellent prices for real ice cream. No stunts necessary. There are no bits of smashed up cereal on top, no glitter cones, no artisanal brewery-collaboration gummy worms, and I mean all of that in the best way possible. It's really good, we didn't have to wait in line for an hour behind an Instagram group. They have a huge selection of interesting flavors, ample free parking. Can't really go wrong here. I had a sugar cone with a scoop of This $&@" Just Got Serious and my kid had Cookie Dough. It was awesome, we've got leftovers in the freezer.

Grocery store quality ice cream at a beautique scoop shop price point. What a waste of an amazing location.

The staff here seem like walking zombies. I came to get popcorn and waited forever. Seriously.

It is by far the most aesthetically pleasing ice cream shop in the Twin Cities-I felt like I was transported to a little charming corner of Europe. The staff were warm and friendly, and patiently offered samples to my indecisive friend and I. I don't recall seeing any seating inside the shop, but we were able to easily find a spot in the patio space (which does fill up pretty fast). We tried the Sonny Bai (pistachio ice cream) and Blackberry Sorbet, both whose quality in authenticity and flavor left nothing to be desired! Looks like I've found my go to spot for the rest of the summer!

Sonny was always there, and always made everything better. I don't remember how we said "the vibes are good" in the 1900s, but the vibes were so very good at the turn of the last century. I moved out of the neighborhood, but still tried to get back as often as possible. I am so very glad Sonny's is up and running. The Ice Cream seems less ice cream like than it used to, and more gelato like. That's fine, but it's noticeable. The prices are a little higher than comparable places, but that's ok too. But the vibes are just off.

Seems like they had a lot to offer outside of ice cream and I'd love to try more things from here another time. I got the sweet potato as well as the honeydew ice cream and as someone who likes trying less common flavors I was very excited about how many options I had. Both were amazing and full of flavor - they also had many flavors that were more traditional for those who don't like to venture out as much.

Had it been in a cup I could have definitely shared it with someone else. The flavor was Red Velvet. With a about 16 ice creams in the case, they let you try samples, and after trying that one (my second) I was sold! While it doesn't have the tang that red Velvet cake has (yes the cake, not just the frosting) I really enjoyed it. The texture was very pleasant. You get the creamy ice cream, with the mixed in cake, and bits of mini chocolate chips in each bite. Yum!!! Aside from the ice cream case, they also had a cooler with ice cream sandwiches, and several flavors of pint sized ice cream. Some of those flavors weren't even in the case (like a cinnamon toast crunch one). There were several tables indoors and outside so seating wasn't an issue. The only thing that could be is parking don't let that deter you. I look forward to returning for another flavor.

We drove all the way from Victoria, MN, through rush-hour traffic--and would gladly do it again. What truly sets Pumphouse apart is its commitment to fresh, local ingredients and incredibly creative flavors. The seasonal rhubarb ice cream was unforgettable: perfectly balanced, fresh, and unlike anything you'll find at a typical ice cream shop. The experience went beyond the ice cream itself. The staff was welcoming, knowledgeable, and genuinely fun, making us feel less like customers and more like neighborhood regulars. They're mini scoops, which makes it so fun to try different flavors without committing to just one. My top picks are the caramelized white chocolate, the sea salt caramel pecan, and the salted honey. All three are incredible. You can also grab pints to go, and the prices are super reasonable. A five-scoop flight for $6 is such a steal. Pump House is always worth the stop, and easily one of the best ice cream shops in the Twin Cities.
