This was my first time at this Five Watt location & it's really cute! There was a bit of a line when we arrived, but it went pretty quickly. Our drinks also came out fairly fast for how busy it was. I got their Shamrock Shake special & it was so tasty. I wish I would've gotten regular milk instead of oat to really seal the deal, but you know, tummy troubles. Since that drink is a matcha, I'll definitely be back soon to try their espresso!

Had a most fabulous morning working from Five Watt! This coffee shop has plenty of tables and outlets for all your WFH needs. I tried the "shot in the nuts" latte which essentially is an I iced Nutella latte and it was delicious! Highly recommend.

Got the 1994 Boyz (Cold Press, Vanilla Syrup, Blackstrap Bitters, Cream, Cinnamon, and a Tootsie Roll) and unfortunately was a little underwhelmed. Pretty standard drink but it did drink very smoothly. Also tried the shot in the nutz 2.0 (espresso, milk, Nutella and brownie batter bitters) with almond milk which was delicious! The Nutella really made the drink creamy and decadent. Still love that the alternative milk options (oat or almond) are only 25¢ extra!

Maybe the vibes were just particularly good that day or it was the incredible playlist that the barista would occasionally belt out the lyrics too (with impeccable timing and confidence) or a mix of all that and the caffeine from their Kingfield drink, but I had the most productive Thursday afternoon I've had in a while. The drinks are amazing and give fun and exciting twists to classics. I'm a big London fog person and their Northeast Fog rendition was just perfect. The bitterness added from the Coriander Bitters in their Kingfield drink took a bit to get used to so I would maybe be cautious if you don't like bitters in drinks in general, but that mellowed out as I got to the second half of the drink. The only thing preventing this place from being a regular workplace for me is that there aren't a lot of indoor tables/seating to do work as it is a smaller shop. However, there are plentiful outlets and I was able to find a seat to do work and didn't seem to get particularly busy or crowded at any point so might revise this statement. Free street parking, wasn't too difficult to find some nearby.

Great coffee place. Not many edible items but the ham and cheese croissant is delicious. The staff was friendly and the place was clean.

Iced Kingfield coffee with oat milk is amazing, according to my wife. I'm more of a Chai tea person, which was also amazing. The Baristas really know their stuff here. This Five Watt location has added an Amazon drop / pick up locker. Very convenient! Social distancing is encouraged for either hanging out or take out. Masks required!

Pumpkin Spice Lawsuit - delicious! Real pumpkin too.

I'm sure I've tried Five Watt before but it's been ages so this was like a new experience for me since I couldn't remember what I got last time. I needed something to get me to wake up after a night shift and their coffee definitely delivered! I ordered the Pumpkin Spice Lawsuit (can we talk about how this is the most clever and perfect name ever?!) and it did not disappoint. Not too sweet, not too bitter - but just right. I actually tasted the pumpkin in it too! Best part is that they use real pumpkin in it - not some fake syrup. I loved the whipped cream on top too - mix it all together and you've got yourself a treat. The place was filled with laptops and people just enjoying their coffee and keeping to themselves. Just what I needed. Plenty of space for seating here and lots of peace and quiet - not your typical loud coffee shop. If I was still in school I would definitely use this place to study. They have a bunch of pastries from Penny's I believe which looked tempting but I didn't get anything. Just another excuse to go back again!

    Northeast Fog was absolutely delicious!

And for my 1,001th coffeeshop review... this place was pretty decent as well. They make a fine cappuccino.

I learned that Curioso Coffee Bar's approach…read moreto sourcing beans was shaped by the founder's time in Panama, where he roasted his own coffee using beans sourced directly from local producers and sold at his café. I know firsthand that coffee is king in Panama, so I figured anything inspired by their incredible coffee culture had to be worth trying. I visited Curioso on an early Sunday morning and immediately found it special. Not just for its coffee, but for the ambiance, service, and overall vibe. Curioso is a large, welcoming space that's part coffee bar, part brewery. I was immediately impressed by the variety of entertainment for all ages: arcade games, pool tables, dart boards, a skee-ball machine, board games, and even claw machines. Seating options are abundant, from cozy couches to tables and high-tops. There's a toddler play area and a library filled with books for all ages. The space feels family-friendly and is warm, welcoming community gathering space for all. I noticed flyers for free community events Curioso hosts, like Sunday Morning Yoga and Tuesday Trivia nights. The service was equally warm! The barista, although managing a busy Sunday morning solo, took her time to explain coffee options, highlight weekly specials with her own recommendations, and describe the pastries in partnership with Fruit & Grain and Bagels from St. Paul Bagelry. Oat milk is the standard for all their drinks! (Which I loved) We tried two speciality lattes: the "Butter Luck Next Year" (iced) and the "Blue Ribbon Peach Pie" (hot). Both were exceptional! Strong, robust, and delicious. Alongside, we also enjoyed an "Everything" handpie and a "Blueberry Lemon Curd" pop tart. Both pastries were out of this world delicious! I loooooved this pairing. I'm a sucker for savory, so the "Everything" handpie reigned supreme for me. Although I don't have a fur-baby (yet), I would like to include that Curioso is fur-friendly. I'm looking forward to returning several more times!

I ordered one of their seasonal specials--the banana cream pie latte. It was very good. The ambiance was OK. Smaller seating area and located in a strip mall. Although my drink was good it wasn't necessarily something to write home about. I might come here again if in the area and in need of a coffee, but probably not a place I will necessarily seek out.

The atmosphere of the shop makes you want to chill out for a while. The staff were very friendly and curates the music with vinyls. In the front the garage door was open. The miso cortado was delicious and really stood out, and they have a great variety of specialty drinks. The service was also extremely kind and welcoming, which I genuinely appreciated. That said, the space didn't quite live up to the hype. The location felt a little unfinished. Minimal decor, unfinished flooring, and no truly cozy seating made it feel less like a place you'd want to settle into for a while. While they encourage people to linger and don't offer Wi-Fi (which I respect), the ambiance doesn't quite support that intention. It felt more like a quick in-and-out stop, even though that doesn't seem to be their goal. The atmosphere was chill, with vinyl records playing in the background, which was a nice touch. I just wish the overall design and seating matched that relaxed, stay-awhile vibe. Great coffee and kind staff, but the space itself didn't fully align with the experience I was hoping for.

It's a small shop right next to brasa, and it's a really great vibe outside and inside. It was a warm space where they also sold retail kitchen items. They looked a bit pricey but made for good eye candy. They also have premade house Giardiniera, pimento cheese and ricotta with honey. It was good service as well, came right out wrapped and ready to roll. When I got home I heated up the pastry and the feast was on. I opted for the corner store sandwich which was a classic egg cheese bacon sandwich but it was anything but your typical sandwich. The thick cut bacon had really been cooked down and the layers just went together so well. The bun was buttered and a little flaky which helped it all. The cinnamon roll was unreal. It had such a nice flaky texture that was still soft and chewy. Cinnamon rolls often rely too heavy on the icing but on this cinnamon roll it was the perfect ratio. The last pastry I didnt get the name of, it looked to be a seasonal danish with sweet potato, pecans, and cinnamon. Not a combination im super used to seeing and it was wonderful.
