Conveniently located near Minnehaha falls and there's some street parking available as well. My friend and I have been wanting to try Falls coffee for a while and we finally found the opportunity to check it out. We came around 1pm on a weekday and there was a bit of a wait as it was only one person making drinks and serving customers. They have an extensive menu with so many specialty drinks. It was a bit of decision fatigue before finally landing on our order. I tried the bananarama chai and my friend had their lychee matcha. The matcha almost tasted completely fruity with no actual matcha taste, to the point where it came off more like a smoothie or juice than a caffeinated drink. My chai wasn't bad, but I didn't get much of the banana flavor. The space itself has a few tables and there is free WiFi as well. They always announce new seasonal drinks so I may come back if anything catches my eye. read more

Such a wide variety of options! Their menu is huge and they have so many fun drinks I've never heard of. I tried the churro latte with half the flavoring and really liked it! The cold foam was kind of chunky which I wasn't a fan of, but the flavor was great. Parking was tough, I ended up parking a few blocks away because it was so busy. There were a lot of people inside but they were quick to make the drinks. It has nice atmosphere and is decorated, but small. They had little gem stickers you could decorate your coffee cup with which was fun, but they didn't stick well due to the condensation. read more

I really wanted to love the drinks here as I always see people going here on social media. I recently seen that they have Harry Potter themed drinks and wanted to check it out. I ended getting the Pink Pony Matcha and the three broomsticks brew, my mom got the lionheart latte and a hot chocolate for my little cousin. The matcha was a bit hard to drink, very sweet and a bit artificial tasting with all the syrup. The broomstick brew and lionheart were good to me but my mom didn't like how overly sweet the lionheart latte was. There were only 2 people working and it was consistently busy. They did well keeping up. We didn't have to wait too long for drinks. It is a smaller coffee shop and was fairly busy on a Sunday around noon, so not ideal for groups or needing to stay/sit for long periods. Parking can also be a bit challenging in this area as there's a bit of restrictions. Would be cool if they did coffee flights. read more

I stopped by to try their special drinks. I got the Matchmaker Matcha and it was okay. The matcha flavor wasn't as strong as I would've like it to be. It was busy so I had to wait a little bit to get my drink which was fine. It's hard to find parking because it's only street parking and it was busy. I was lucky to find a spot after circling around. This was my second time at falls coffee. The drinks are really unique and they have soooo many options. I love how much sunlight this coffee shop gets and it's always really clean. This specific time I came in, I came for the Harry Potter themed drinks. I came on a Sunday morning so it was fairly busy. It took about 15 minutes in line before we ordered and then once we ordered we waited another 30 minutes for our 2 drinks and a burrito. We noticed the 3 girls ahead of us had already finished their drinks! Finally I went up to the bar and asked if our drinks were on the way when the barista responded with "yeah we're really busy they're coming" and I was like no I totally know you're busy but that's why I've waited so long to say something but there are a bunch of people that are getting their orders that ordered way after us. She informs me that our order never went through their system and asked what I had with an apology, then I told her what we ordered. I sat back down and hoped they were making the drinks next. They came out within 10 minutes but then they almost forgot about the burrito I ordered. Overall, I wish I would have been offered more than just an apology. I sat in this coffee shop for almost an hour for 2 drinks and a heated up burrito. I live in the south metro and so coming up to the city for a coffee is always a fun adventure. This one was not. I feel like I didn't even enjoy my coffee because I had been waiting so long for it that I drank it all in 5 minutes on the drive home. Falls coffee is kind of a little hidden place. If you didn't know about it beforehand, you might never notice it. The interior is nice, I believe they have a big garage type door that they open sometimes and I think it would be a great place to work! Pretty quiet and not super crowded. I appreciate that they offer food items and LOTS of options for different drinks. I've never had something from here that I disliked. This time I had the strawberry shortcake matcha (on their summer specialty menu) and I really liked it! I felt like the foam wasn't overly sweet and the matcha didn't taste watered down. I've also had their ube coffee and I loved it. The only thing I have a complaint about is there is a worked who doesn't really speak or interact with you... Even as they taking your order. I always feel shy because it doesn't really seem like they want to be taking my order at all. I used to work in a similar type of place so I understand that when you're really busy, its hard to keep a really positive attitude the whole time but, I've never seen it unbearably busy in there. I do appreciate how they'll bring your drinks to you sometimes and that everything comes out at a good pace. Overall I will continue to come here and I love their fun drinks! read more

I had a great time at Falls Coffee. There is a nearby parking lot that I parked in as there is not much street parking available. I went early Saturday morning with a friend and was happy to get there early. By 10 am Falls Coffee was packed with people and it was hard for others to find a spot to sit. I really loved all of their seasonal options and I appreciated the assortment of different food and drink options they offered. I did not try any of the food they sold but I am looking forward to trying some the next time I visit. I ordered one of the valentines drinks and really enjoyed it. We ordered a matcha, sandwich and a mixed berry antioxidant smoothie. The matcha was ok, but when our order came up the "smoothie" came as an iced berry drink. We were confused but just assumed that was correct. It tasted like redbull, and when my friend went back to the counter to ask if that's what their smoothie was supposed to be / if it had redbull in it the barista just laughed and dismissed him. Overall the service was not great and the barista was rude. I'm still confused if we got what we ordered, when I saw it on the iPad when we ordered it said smoothie, but what we got was definitely not a smoothie. The place was very cute though. read more

Each of the drinks on the menu is unique in its own way with a clever name + flavor profile, and they rotate them out so you can get something new every time. Falls is so so good when there isn't the barista with colorful dyed hair working. Every time I come in when she's working, she always always makes my drink wrong. Every single time. Stopped into Falls Coffee quick before hitting the road, really great first impression! Baristas were friendly and helpful, they use Folly coffee and sell they're blends. They had a great selection of baked goods and snacks, we really enjoyed the lemon poppyseed and raspberry muffins. We also got an au lait and a vanilla latte, both delicious and thankfully not too sweet with the flavoring. I could clearly taste the espresso which was a pleasant surprise. The iced chai lattes that my sisters got tasted like water, milk, STRONG chai and it tasted old. It was also barely mixed.
