We liked the food! Parking is a little tricky but we live in the neighborhood. We ordered ahead and picked up. Nice and easy online ordering system. We ordered medium fried rice and it was pretty spicy for us! Flavor was good and it had a good sauce but too spicy for us. It is only 2 chili peppers. Dumplings are 10/10. They are juicy, flavorful and have a thicker wrapper. The pho broth was good. Not sweet and had a beefy flavor. The meat came par cooked but surprisingly tender. The take out didn't come with jalapeño or a hoisin/ sriracha packet, which was a little disappointing. Try it out if you are in the neighborhood!

Left is chicken banh mi. Right is the beef one. Chicken was far tastier!

No. Are they worth getting? If you love a crunchy wing, then yes! The ramen had the most flavorful broth!! Oh my goodness it was rich and full of flavor! The noddles were cooked perfectly! Definitely one of the best ramen dishes I have had in the twin cities! We would have tried the ribs but they were all out of :( Definitely check this place out!

The Beef Rendang was a delightful mix of spice, herbs, coconut, and tamarind. The beef was tender and the broth was perfectly rich! The toasted coconut milkjam ice cream was an odd, crumbling, dry texture that was not enjoyable. Might be the worst dairy free ice cream I've had unfortunately. We came on Thursday early evening and were surprised that they were offering happy hour from 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM. There were app, entree, sushi, and even alcohol happy hour specials. We took advantage of the gyoza and spring roll happy hour priced items which were still full servings of the regular-priced appetizers! Their spring rolls are so fresh and quite large. The gyoza was lightly fried and the pork-based filling was exactly what I had expected. I knew I wanted the Rama spinach curry with chicken (which is what I always get) but my bestie wasn't sure what she wanted. She asked our waitress, Danielle, for a recommendation and ended up getting the Magnificent Massaman curry with chicken. While both hit the spot, the Magnificent Massaman curry is called magnificent for a reason. Don't get me wrong, I still love my Rama curry, but the Massaman - it was amazing. We shared a bottle of Sauvignon Blanc with was appropriately priced and nicely chilled. You can't go wrong here. You can tell this unassuming spot is a neighborhood favorite. There was a steady flow of people coming in, some alone to sit and have dinner or dinner and a drink alone, others with their entire family (even with small children). There were a lot of people picking up takeout, too. Parking is off street, and the restrooms are sort of outside of the restaurant in a hallway (like they are at Longfellow Grill). You won't be disappointed if you give this place a try!

First, I really wish we had been provided ice for our water since it's served from their room temp tap water vase setup. Also, the menu is VERY hard to read and I had a lot of questions about the ingredients. I just don't feel like our server walked us through the dishes/options very well, which would've helped a ton for first timers! Also, I wanted to try the Massaman for yummy brisket, but sadly they were out of it and didn't let us know until we tried ordering this meal. I wish they were proactive about letting us know it's out. With that being said, the food itself was still very yummy overall! For apps, the Siin Swan (beef jerky) is a MUST! It was a huge portion for the price and honestly one of the best values on the menu. The Thai basil wings were also incredible and definitely worth ordering here (or at Gai Noi or Lat14 if you've never had them before), they're so flavorful and crispy! For the "shareable" dishes, we ordered the green curry octopus and scallop crudo. I'm normally terrified of octopus/tentacles, but this dish was actually super good! The potatoes, peas, and bacon alongside it were delicious. The only thing missing was the green curry sauce didn't have a ton of flavor, which could've been the wow factor that pushed the dish over the top. The scallop crudo was a beautiful presentation, but looked nothing like the photos on Khâluna'a website. It's served cold in a chilled coconut lime broth. I personally LOVE lime and enjoyed it, but everyone else at the table thought it was overpowering. Also, the portion size was shockingly tiny for a dish labeled "to share" and costing $30+. These definitely felt more apps (or even individual entrees) than table shareables. I wish they changed this! The Laksa entrée was SO yummy! The peanut/chili tasting curry broth poured tableside was such a fun touch, and I appreciated it being served separately. Perfectly cooked shrimp, tofu, and all the toppings made this dish one of my favorites of the night. The bucatini, which I believe is one of their signature dishes, was also excellent, but definitely not your classic Italian bucatini, so just know that prior to ordering! It had chili/onion crunch toppings and a very undercooked homemade noodle, but somehow still worked because it was lightly sauced yet packed with flavor. Super unique and delicious! For dessert, the pecan shortbread was amazing with a homemade chocolate mousse that was TO DIE FOR! Don't skip this! Overall, really good eats, beautiful atmosphere, and creative dishes, but definitely a bit hit-or-miss when it comes to portion size and value for the price. I'm curious how their brunch is next!

I lived in the Houston and Garland Texas area all my life where there is a large vietnamese population... and for the past 5 months, I have just been exploring Minnesota and Wisconsin and Illinois for vietnamese food. This evening... I was just craving pho. lets start with the ambiance. Its a pretty hip place once you get inside. I do like the cultural blend of modern and old school, and you see it with the different type people that come in. The staff there was prompt, and unlike my old school favorite in Richardson Texas... the staff to customer ratio was high. So the service was quick and attentive. Now for the pho. I went with the Dac Biet because I never know sometimes if I will get tough precut preprocessed meats... not in this case. I felt that all the ingrediants were fresh...and catered toward the old school viet palette, which I thank you. I understand a lot of pho house have to stay in business and cater to the local palette but this one was spot on. You can just breath in the right mixture of ingrediants. The bowl was reasonably priced, and the portions were similar to what I am used to having in Houston. It was fantastic as I scarfed it down to quick and forgot to take a picture. However, all the pictures that I have seen associated with this location are accurate. Overall, I would come back here. Service staff was as expected for a busy day and we kept getting the wrong items sent out but they were nice and apologetic, it was just a busy day and had newer staff. Parking is limited, be sure to pay attention to where you're parking since certain spots are meant for businesses nearby. They have patio seating but I don't know if they actually provide food service outside. Bathrooms are currently out of service so they have two port-o-potties outside. It's a nice space and gets lots of natural sunlight, I do wish they had some tint or blinds though because we were seated next to a window and it was a bit blinding especially with the sun reflecting off the metal cups and laminated menus. I've heard great things about their food but for me it was a miss. We all had pho but the amount of herbs and fresh toppings wasn't sufficient for 6 phos. They were accommodating and gave us additional items we asked for. The calamari was on the greasier end and was bigger than expected. For my palate both the banh mi and pho were lacking in flavor. I put a lot of things into my pho but it just didn't taste like anything to me except for pho powder. The ribeye pho had a generous portion of broth but only like 5 slices of meat. The oxtail stone bowl pho one looked hot and didn't have enough space to add everything in without it overflowing while the other didn't look like the broth was hot enough to cook the noodles. I will say though their ordered drink cups and to-go containers game was top notch. I received a reusable bag with my two banh mis to go instead of a plastic bag. It's probably not somewhere I'd return to unless someone else absolutely had to have it but to each their own.
