The chow mien was a hefty portion size and the wontons had a nice portion of cream cheese filling to wrap. They were also perfectly crispy and light which was a huge bonus! The restaurant itself is relatively small with just a few tables inside. I will for sure be back for more!

I always find my saucy noodle/rice deliveries have greasy dishes or spilled/sticky sauces but everything was packaged extremely well. The Pad Thai has fantastic flavor, the veggies are crisp and fresh, and the peanuts add the perfect little crunch. Add a twist of lime and you're in business for the next three days of lunch or dinner. The cream cheese wontons were mediocre, I wish there was more wrapper to kinda soak up some of that cream cheese but it has a good flavor and I love the dipping sauce. The eggroll wasn't my favorite but I'm not huge on eggrolls to begin with but they look really good and they're perfectly crispy. Now, the Vietnamese coffee cannot be slept on. Order it every single time, just trust me. Creamy, bold flavor but it doesn't feel like you're drinking a cup of creamer. I'd go back for the coffee and Pad Thai once a week if I could.

Stunning restaurant with incredible lighting (no big lights here!) and greenery. The patio is huge…read moreand is covered. The volume in the restaurant is quite loud, so the patio may be better if you don't want to speak up at the table. Service is on the slower side but the food is worth the wait. -- The Sakoo small plate was an incredible dish! The texture contrast between the filling, chewy exterior, and lettuce shell was fantastic. It was so flavorful and has a bit of a spice kick to it. -- The Mango Fish entree was packed with flavor, and is a very umami-forward dish. The piece of crispy salmon skin on the side is perfectly crunchy and salty. It's a filet of salmon (not a whole fish) and the salmon is nice and buttery. -- The Duck Fried Rice entree had good flavor but the duck meat was dry. It did not come with the duck leg or crispy skin, and instead had chunks of duck meat throughout the dish. This dish has a bit of a spice kick to it. -- The Pistachio Orange Blossom Cake dessert was SO GOOD. I'm not a huge dessert person and I ate every bite of this. The cake is so moist and pairs well with the fluffy mousse covering the cake. The little bits of baklava and orange zest complemented this dish really well.

I recently moved from the Bay Area so had a lot of thai, laotian and cambodian food there. I'll try to break down the dishes itself. Duck fried rice: probably my favorite out of the entrees, very flavorful but too salty. It's stronger in flavor but the salt was a bit too much. Laksa: oh man I really wanted to like this one but it's missing the ooomph like someone skipped out on all the fish sauce and strong flavors that make laksa unique. Massaman curry: the beef was try and tough and didn't have much in it overall. If you know massaman you know a big part of it are the potatoes, but there's barely any. Mango salmon: it just tasted like a pan fried salmon, nothing too crazy Overall, it feels like I went somewhere that tried to imitate Laotian flavors. And for the price I likely wouldn't go again. But I will say, the service A+, all the staff were very nice and helpful. Also the vibes are amazing very cute decor. I wish the food matched everything else.

I recently visited Duc's Vietnamese Restaurant, and while some people may focus on the obvious…read morereasons it's popular, I'd like to highlight the truly important details. First, the location is outstanding. It's close to my house, which significantly reduces my daily mileage and increases my overall happiness. Even better, it's conveniently close to my favorite gas station, creating a perfect ecosystem where I can refuel both my vehicle and my sense of purpose in a single trip. The parking lot deserves special recognition. It was astonishingly clean. Not "pretty clean for a parking lot" clean. More like "someone is clearly taking personal pride in every square foot of asphalt" clean. There wasn't a single abandoned shopping cart, mystery stain, or windblown fast-food wrapper in sight. The building itself was easy to find, the entrance was clearly marked, and the doors performed flawlessly. That's the kind of reliability that builds trust. Inside, everything was spotless. The tables were level. The chairs appeared structurally committed to their jobs. The lighting was bright enough to see what I was doing but not so bright that I felt like I was being interrogated. Even the napkins seemed unusually motivated. Now we come to what may be the most underrated feature of Duc's: the restrooms. I make a "pit stop" every time I pick up my order, and I can confidently say these are among the finest restaurant restrooms I have encountered. They're always clean, well-maintained, and somehow manage to create a sense of calm and confidence. Many establishments view restrooms as an afterthought. Duc's treats them like a flagship product. At this point, I'm not entirely sure whether I'm picking up an order and using the restroom, or using the restroom and conveniently picking up an order while I'm there. The owner and his family are always friendly and professional. They don't chime my name upon entrance, but maybe in another 18 years. I was also impressed by several important but frequently overlooked details: the parking spaces were easy to navigate, the sidewalks were in excellent condition, and the overall atmosphere suggested that someone actually cares about the place. When it was time to leave, I exited the parking lot without a single awkward standoff with another driver. Traffic flowed smoothly, the weather cooperated, and my favorite gas station was still exactly where I left it. In summary, Duc's Vietnamese Restaurant excels at all the things only the best do: location, cleanliness, parking-lot excellence, dependable doors, quality sidewalks, and proximity to gasoline. I can confidently say that every aspect of the experience was absolutely fantastic. Oh, and the garlic chicken will blow your hair back.

After explaining that I caught an Uber and was visiting from out of town, the lady at counter simply stated, "The dine-in option is not available." I was visibly frustrated and upset. I asked if I could sit to order another Uber and she reluctantly let me sit in the dining room area. As a former resident of Woodbury, it was rough to experience this level of "Minnesota Nice." Do better Ducs. I won't be back.
