The food was very good and we got more than two people could eat in a meal. The sesame chicken was crispy with a nice tasting sauce. We ate it with a side of white rice. Lots of stuff in our take out bag including utensils, napkins, sauces, and hard candy for dessert. Staff was helpful and online ordering was easy. I am unsure about if this is under new ownership, but when we walked inside there was a line of about 5 people waiting for food orders. I wanted to sit down and try this place but every table was dirty. I'm not sure if there is not enough staff to keep up but we waited for about 5 minutes before I noticed approximately 8-10 order tickets that were still hung up. We were in the mood for something new, so we found this spot with great reviews on Yelp! Plenty of parking in the strip mall parking outside this shop. The space itself isn't huge, there's probably 6 booths and a few tables. It was pretty clear after we sat down, that they are SWAMPED with take-out and delivery service orders. That's usually a good sign for the food. The space is the weakest part of Mac Kitchen, as the walls are a bit dirty and the interior doesn't really have any decor. I might not bring a date or my in-laws here to impress them. Our server was DARLING the whole time. She was running in a bunch of different directions all night, but was super friendly and kept everything moving smoothly. Major kudos to her! Food was great value and very tasty! We started out with the egg rolls and cream cheese wontons. Perfect flavor, large portion, and served piping hot! I had the Mongolian Beef which was a sizeable serving with tender beef, tons of onions, and a lovely sauce. My partner had the shrimp pad Thai and also really enjoyed it! First time to Macs kitchen but ate here when it was named something else. Thought I'd try it as other yelpers said it was good. I ordered online but the prices were higher than the sign said outside for lunch specials. I ordered Sesame Chicken, fried rice, egg roll lunch special. There was no fish sauce for egg roll. I tried the cream cheese wontons with sweet sauce, good. I also tried spring rolls. These were ok with peanut dipping sauce. Only complaint is nasty pork lunch meat inside. 4/5 review based on inaccurate prices and missing egg roll fish sauce. Fried rice had flavor, sesame chicken didn't have bad oil flavor. Mac has the best chili oil around! I am obsessed! This is also the only place I get Pho from. They need to start selling their chili oil, because I would buy it! ( they are super nice and they gave me a huge container for free) but I felt guilty! The food is consistently good and the service is amazing. read more

We have recently discovered this hidden gem and have been amazed with everything we have ordered. We always get DoorDash or pickup - have never dined in. So I can't speak to the service or ambiance inside the restaurant. I will say that the food is really warm every time! My husband and I agreed that they offer the best orange chicken we have ever had. Usually orange chicken at chains or other restaurants have an artificial taste, but this one tastes like they use real oranges. We have also tried the sesame chicken and Mongolian beef. Both have great flavor! I still find the orange chicken to be the best and prefer that over the sesame chicken. The Mongolian beef has a ton of onions in it but the beef flavor is incredibly good. My husband got the beef pho and I tried it - it was delicious too! We both agreed that the pho we have tried at other restaurants is a bit better, but it wasn't bad by any means. The broth just doesn't have as much depth as other pho I have tried. Wontons and the sauce given are amazing too, but you can't go wrong with cream cheese wontons. Overall I think I would stick with the Chinese food offered at this restaurant because they really have it down. read more

Healthy Chinese Food! Hallelujah, haven't had good healthy Chinese restaurant in our area for so long. Delicious, affordable, fast and easy to pick up. Most of their business is take out. I have ordered food from Mac Kitchen many, many times and consistently find it to be very good food! I have always ordered through a delivery app but the food still manages to arrive hot and fresh every time! Because of that I can't speak to the ambiance or service other than the food coming nicely packaged and the quality and obvious care in the preparation. I have eaten quite a number of things over the years but I tend to go back to the Mongolian beef over and over. Their beef is tender and a nice quality, and the flavors are terrific. I will often order an extra side of steamed mixed vegetables to get my veggies in too ;). For lunch they have combos and their Chicken Mixed Vegetable or Kung Pao chicken are excellent. Again, high quality meat, fresh veggies and great flavor! However, if I'm in the mood for something other than vegetables their Sesame chicken is terrific! Crunchy and flavorful with a tasty caramelized sauce ..Yum! Their egg rolls are crunchy and have very good flavor, their cream cheese wontons are decent as are their potstickers. The owners and chef/ service are so very wonderful! The food is always fresh and come out steaming hot! Vegetables are always crisp and crunchy! If you want more zip or zing, request it and they will accommodate you! We went here with a party of 3 around 6:00 PM. It was crazy, line of people out the door. It took an insane time to get our food throughout our visit. We got seated, and someone came to take our order maybe 10 minutes after? The people who worked there were really nice and apologized many times for the wait. I don't think the wait was because of poor service, it was just more that it was BONKERS. Would not reccomend coming around 6 PM on a Friday. It cooled down about 7:15. Anyway, the food was really good though. We ordered the appetizer combo, which came with fried shrimp, eggrolls, chicken wings, cream cheese wontons, and dumplings, for a total of around $15. It also came with 3 different sauces, 2 bowls of each sauce. A sweet and sour sauce, a salty soy sauce, and a different one that was kind of spicy. Everything was so crispy, fried, crunchy, delicious. 10/10. Next, we got the orange chicken, which was the best thing of the night. So puffy and sweet, and the flavor really popped. We also tried the Vermicelli salad. It just bursted my mouth with so much spice and flavor, it was so good! My strawberry fruit tea with strawberry popping boba was sooo sweet. I like the friendliness of the service but I think they forget about us or perhaps rather not bother us too much. It's a basic strip mall joint with booths for seating. Small restaurant in a strip mall between Red Wing Shoes and Papa John's. We've been looking for a good local Chinese restaurant since our usual go to closed. Food was fast, hot and tasty. Seems like they use a pressure cooker so my noodles were the softest I have ever had - which was very good and unique. Kiddo loved the egg rolls and he is my egg roll connoisarea. Kung Po was good but not a show-stopper. Service was fast and pleasant. Portions large and my dish had a lot of shrimp. I came in today to order pho because a friend recommended this restaurant to me. The staff was friendly and helpful, but when I got home, I noticed that my order was incorrect. I ordered Chicken Pho with Extra veggies, and I got home, and the veggies where not included in my order. Normally at the other restaurants that serve Pho extra veggies mean (broccoli, carrots, peapods etc) and I came home and none of the veggies where included. This has been our new go to place. They opened just last year and are 1000% worth a try. You get a lot of food for your money and it's family run and operated. One of the best Asian food restaurants I have been in a looonnnggg time!! If you're searching for a tasty, and priced right, dinner look no further.
