Outstanding customer service! I live up in Centerville and placed an online order intended for the Mac Kitchen in Lino Lakes. Even though I clicked the Lino Lakes link, the order somehow routed to the Apple Valley location instead. When I arrived in Lino Lakes and realized what happened, I noticed the mix-up meant a nearly one-hour drive each way just to pick up my food! I called the Apple Valley team, and they were incredibly understanding and gave me a full refund right away. Thank you so much to the Apple Valley staff for saving me from a long, unnecessary drive for dinner. If I'm ever down in Apple Valley, I'll definitely be stopping by to order from you guys! read more

Our fav Asian take out was closed over the 4th of July holiday so we decided to try Mac Kitchen. So glad we did. We got an order of egg rolls (comes in twos) and some sesame chicken. The food was very good and we got more than two people could eat in a meal. The sesame chicken was crispy with a nice tasting sauce. We ate it with a side of white rice. Lots of stuff in our take out bag including utensils, napkins, sauces, and hard candy for dessert. Staff was helpful and online ordering was easy. It's nice we have two places near our home to choose from. read more

Mac Kitchen - Asian Fusion Near Me - Apple Valley, Minnesota

We were in the mood for something new, so we found this spot with great reviews on Yelp! Plenty of parking in the strip mall parking outside this shop. The space itself isn't huge, there's probably 6 booths and a few tables. It was pretty clear after we sat down, that they are SWAMPED with take-out and delivery service orders. That's usually a good sign for the food. The space is the weakest part of Mac Kitchen, as the walls are a bit dirty and the interior doesn't really have any decor. I might not bring a date or my in-laws here to impress them. Our server was DARLING the whole time. She was running in a bunch of different directions all night, but was super friendly and kept everything moving smoothly. Major kudos to her! Food was great value and very tasty! We started out with the egg rolls and cream cheese wontons. Perfect flavor, large portion, and served piping hot! I had the Mongolian Beef which was a sizeable serving with tender beef, tons of onions, and a lovely sauce. My partner had the shrimp pad Thai and also really enjoyed it! We will likely add this to our frequent order list, for either dine in or take out! read more

Excellent Asian food set in a small strip mall with appropriately clean Asian atmosphere. The menu was expansive with excellent food and the best egg foo young I have ever had. Service was also great! read more

I am unsure about if this is under new ownership, but when we walked inside there was a line of about 5 people waiting for food orders. I wanted to sit down and try this place but every table was dirty. I'm not sure if there is not enough staff to keep up but we waited for about 5 minutes before I noticed approximately 8-10 order tickets that were still hung up. I did not have a chance to try the food. read more

First time to Macs kitchen but ate here when it was named something else. Thought I'd try it as other yelpers said it was good. I ordered online but the prices were higher than the sign said outside for lunch specials. I ordered Sesame Chicken, fried rice, egg roll lunch special. There was no fish sauce for egg roll. I tried the cream cheese wontons with sweet sauce, good. I also tried spring rolls. These were ok with peanut dipping sauce. Only complaint is nasty pork lunch meat inside. 4/5 review based on inaccurate prices and missing egg roll fish sauce. Fried rice had flavor, sesame chicken didn't have bad oil flavor. So far not sick. read more

Food was great had great taste, hot and don't go away hungry Very nice customer service too read more

Mac has the best chili oil around! I am obsessed! This is also the only place I get Pho from. They need to start selling their chili oil, because I would buy it! ( they are super nice and they gave me a huge container for free) but I felt guilty! The food is consistently good and the service is amazing. read more

I found the food kind of plain, just didn't have any zing to it, and even much flavor. The curry place that used to be here was also fast and inexpensive, and while not fantastic, was a good deal because the food tasted interesting with zip. read more

We have recently discovered this hidden gem and have been amazed with everything we have ordered. We always get DoorDash or pickup - have never dined in. So I can't speak to the service or ambiance inside the restaurant. I will say that the food is really warm every time! My husband and I agreed that they offer the best orange chicken we have ever had. Usually orange chicken at chains or other restaurants have an artificial taste, but this one tastes like they use real oranges. We have also tried the sesame chicken and Mongolian beef. Both have great flavor! I still find the orange chicken to be the best and prefer that over the sesame chicken. The Mongolian beef has a ton of onions in it but the beef flavor is incredibly good. My husband got the beef pho and I tried it - it was delicious too! We both agreed that the pho we have tried at other restaurants is a bit better, but it wasn't bad by any means. The broth just doesn't have as much depth as other pho I have tried. Wontons and the sauce given are amazing too, but you can't go wrong with cream cheese wontons. Overall I think I would stick with the Chinese food offered at this restaurant because they really have it down. read more

Delicious fresh food and friendly staff. If you order on a busy night expect take out to be a longer wait.

I love the food. I have ordered food to go and I have Aldi eaten in the restaurant. The food is pelicans prepared according to your request. The staff is professional and pay attention to your needs. read more

The broken noodles were fab and the service prompt but there was a cart of dirty dishes in our sight line as we ate which was a bit of a turn-off. Otherwise the ambiance was good - would recommend sitting close to the front. read more

Healthy Chinese Food! Hallelujah, haven't had good healthy Chinese restaurant in our area for so long. Delicious, affordable, fast and easy to pick up. Most of their business is take out. It's a little hole in the wall in a small strip mall across Cedar from Cub grocery. There are a couple of booths inside if you wish to eat there. Very friendly, hard working cooks. Love! read more

Excellant! I always the Pad Thai and egg rolls:). Order alway ready and hot! Small bit booth seating available.

I have ordered food from Mac Kitchen many, many times and consistently find it to be very good food! I have always ordered through a delivery app but the food still manages to arrive hot and fresh every time! Because of that I can't speak to the ambiance or service other than the food coming nicely packaged and the quality and obvious care in the preparation. I have eaten quite a number of things over the years but I tend to go back to the Mongolian beef over and over. Their beef is tender and a nice quality, and the flavors are terrific. I will often order an extra side of steamed mixed vegetables to get my veggies in too ;). For lunch they have combos and their Chicken Mixed Vegetable or Kung Pao chicken are excellent. Again, high quality meat, fresh veggies and great flavor! However, if I'm in the mood for something other than vegetables their Sesame chicken is terrific! Crunchy and flavorful with a tasty caramelized sauce ..Yum! Their egg rolls are crunchy and have very good flavor, their cream cheese wontons are decent as are their potstickers. If you are looking for high quality, consistently well-prepared tasty food, this is a great option! read more

The owners and chef/ service are so very wonderful! The food is always fresh and come out steaming hot! Vegetables are always crisp and crunchy! If you want more zip or zing, request it and they will accommodate you! Definitely get portion sizes to easily feed 4 people - but we love their food the second day! ;) The owners are kind and generous. You go a few times and they know you and what you like! Always gets with a smile! I highly recommend trying Mac Kitchen, as I don't think you'll be disappointed! read more

DO NOT ORDER from this restaurant. I ordered chicken with vegetables. I received the order with 1/2 the container of vegetables with NO CHICKEN after wait for more than an hour. The apology was everyone makes mistakes. This was a chef's mistake. Avoid this place. read more

I needed cooked rice and every other Asian restaurant was closed as it was Monday. This was my only option. I got myself chicken chow Melin, fried rice, a side of white rice I needed for a recipe, and an egg roll. Great lunch menu options. My husband ate the egg roll and said it was the best egg roll he's ever had. My chicken was very dry. And there wasn't much flavor on my fried rice. If you want Asian food and it's Monday and everything else is closed, go here. Otherwise don't. read more

If I could give the food a 0 star I would. This was our first time here. We ordered takeout. All 3 dishes had the same bland nasty stale flavor. My husband and I are not picky and even if something isn't great we are still thankful to eat. I'm not one to leave a review- even when things are bad but this was beyond bad bad. read more

First time ordering from Mac Kitchen. ordered Cream Cheese Wontons (8) , egg Egg Rolls (3) Sesame Chicken Pad Chicken Pad Thai and Chicken Fried Rice . Pad Thai was mild and PERFECT! I like the friendliness of the service but I think they forget about us or perhaps rather not bother us too much. It's a basic strip mall joint with booths for seating. Food is okay, I've had better but it's more affordable than others in the same area so I'd come again. Also the are many varieties from Chinese to Vietnamese and Thai on the menu. read more

Small restaurant in a strip mall between Red Wing Shoes and Papa John's. We've been looking for a good local Chinese restaurant since our usual go to closed. Food was fast, hot and tasty. Seems like they use a pressure cooker so my noodles were the softest I have ever had - which was very good and unique. Kiddo loved the egg rolls and he is my egg roll connoisarea. Kung Po was good but not a show-stopper. Service was fast and pleasant. Portions large and my dish had a lot of shrimp. Only a few tables so perfect for take-out, especially as their food was served piping hot. Nice addition to the area. read more

We went here with a party of 3 around 6:00 PM. It was crazy, line of people out the door. It took an insane time to get our food throughout our visit. We got seated, and someone came to take our order maybe 10 minutes after? The people who worked there were really nice and apologized many times for the wait. I don't think the wait was because of poor service, it was just more that it was BONKERS. Would not reccomend coming around 6 PM on a Friday. It cooled down about 7:15. Anyway, the food was really good though. We ordered the appetizer combo, which came with fried shrimp, eggrolls, chicken wings, cream cheese wontons, and dumplings, for a total of around $15. It also came with 3 different sauces, 2 bowls of each sauce. A sweet and sour sauce, a salty soy sauce, and a different one that was kind of spicy. Everything was so crispy, fried, crunchy, delicious. 10/10. Next, we got the orange chicken, which was the best thing of the night. So puffy and sweet, and the flavor really popped. We also tried the Vermicelli salad. It just bursted my mouth with so much spice and flavor, it was so good! My strawberry fruit tea with strawberry popping boba was sooo sweet. I had to ask about 5 times for the drink, came after about an hour of waiting. Although it was an insane wait, it was worth it for the food. read more

Consistently Excellent. This small Chinese/Thai/Vietnamese restaurant delivers quality food every time. Their friendly service is a wonderful experience in an ever-growing sea of mediocrity. Their dining room is small and cozy. This is our new go-to quick food stop. read more

I came in today to order pho because a friend recommended this restaurant to me. The staff was friendly and helpful, but when I got home, I noticed that my order was incorrect. I ordered Chicken Pho with Extra veggies, and I got home, and the veggies where not included in my order. Normally at the other restaurants that serve Pho extra veggies mean (broccoli, carrots, peapods etc) and I came home and none of the veggies where included. It only had onions, sprouts, and sliced jalapenos. I was really disappointed because I was looking forward to my Veggie Pho! read more

We love Mac Kitchen!!! I asked them to really spice up my Vegetable Chicken and they nailed it!!! Soooo yummy!!!

Thought we'd give this place a try based on good reviews. People that leave good reviews must like very bland food. The Lomein and Singapore Noodles had no flavor. Also, they are only able to cook one dish at a time, so if you have multiple people, others will be done eating before everyone gets what they ordered. Would definitely not recommend this place. read more

This has been our new go to place. They opened just last year and are 1000% worth a try. You get a lot of food for your money and it's family run and operated. The kitchen is clean and everything is very fresh. We love this type of food so much we even had it at our wedding!!! So if you are looking for a new local spot to get your Vientianes fix do yourself and favor and drop in. My favorite is the Mongolian beef and the egg rolls. My wife's in the lemon as well as the sesame chicken. read more

Restaurant had about 8 seating options. Came here to grab a quick dinner. My son and I ordered the meatball pho and egg rolls. I got take out, so I can't comment on the ambiance, but all the food we ordered was good.

One of the best Asian food restaurants I have been in a looonnnggg time!! If you're searching for a tasty, and priced right, dinner look no further. The food was so hot and fresh it was truly delicious! Not to mention the service was great too. The owners are a family run business and the woman owner even offered to hold my baby so I could enjoy my food hot and fresh. It's more low key with not too many people around making the ambiance cozy and feel like you are eating at your mom's. Most definitely will be returning!!!
