This, hands down, was the best Asian food I've had since eating in San Francisco! The wonton soup was the best I've had in YEARS! Get it!! The peanut sauce that came with the potstickers was incredible and would taste great on anything!!! The orange chicken was also delicious! We will be back! And will definitely be getting take out from here soon! read more

They closed in August so, we missed experience. Food looked great. Received a 100 gift card. Not usable at this point. read more

Great flavors, food was nice and fresh cause it was popping hot. Service was quick and we had a good time looking at the decorations while we waited. Good level of spice that can be hard to get in the area read more

Cafeteria style. Order and pay at counter, they serve. I had panang shrimp. Did not ask me how spicy. It was hot! Not a lot of spinach, but there was surprisingly a whole lotta shrimp! I enjoyed it. read more

This place was my favorite go-to for Asian food like home. Coming from the cities and finding this gem down in Rochester was an absolute blessing. Every single dish I tried was delicious and everyone I've taken here has thoroughly enjoyed it as well. My favorites are their basil chicken and their panang curry! I was even pleasantly surprised with their pho. I wish they could open a location in the cities--they'd do amazing anywhere they go! read more

Great intimate lunch or dinner spot. Chill vibe reinforced by chill instrumental music playing. Although it's Spring in MN, it's still damp and chilly outside. Perfect day for Pho. I ordered the chicken egg rolls and combo Pho bowl (chicken, meatball, squid, beef - not sure I have all the components). It tasted fantastic. read more

Asia Fusion is worth the visit, if you're looking for some good Asian eats in Rochester. It is located in a small strip mall in the outskirts of the city but well worth the drive. The setting is nice as the decor is modern and trendy. Ambiance for Thursday was just right with all the tables packed of hungry families and couples ready for their meals. Menu is extensive and covers broad range of dishes and cuisines from Vietnamese Pho, Korean BBQ spareribs, to Chinese Dim Sum. Prices are reasonable too so expect $9-15 depending on entree. Ordered - Green Curry Chicken (4/5). This dish is very delicious. It does have a tiny kick though so be warned. The curry is flavorful and goes well with the rice. I enjoyed the cuts of peppers to add that extra crunch to the dish. One thing was the service was a bit off. My friend had ordered Pad Crispy Pork but it came out differently than expected originally. The correct order was given but it did take an extra 10-15 minutes wait. Another example was the ring up of our menus. The same friend who had the incorrect order was given a check that already was paid and with the incorrect order. We had to find another server to ask for the correct bill. Asia Fusion is a delicious option that is perfect for group dinners or dates. There were some interesting interactions with the servers but that could be due to them being new or just managing a busy crowd on a Thursday. cheers. read more

Stopped in on my way from Twin Cities to Decorah and ordered fresh spring rolls. Turns out the place is carry out only anyway! Very strange inside, but the food is phenomenal. read more

We were looking for something different and decided to give this a try based on the Yelp reviews. The food is excellent and the menu has some unique choices not seen elsewhere. Pork Belly and the Spring Rolls were my favorite. The seating is cafeteria style, and the food is served in takeout containers. The service is friendly and fast, but volume was low at the time we visited. They a have takeout option too. read more

My husband and I visited here for the first time on a Sunday night. Their last seating is at 6:15PM before they close at 7:00PM. They are strict on this; we saw them turn away customers who arrived around 6:30PM. We got there at 6:00PM and ordered their pad Thai, orange chicken, and pork ramen. The pad Thai was the best out of the three, then the orange chicken, and then the ramen. My husband said it was too salty and wished he ordered something else. The ambiance is pretty nice; you could dress up or down. Service was a little slow, but that's because their was only one waitress working at that time. She was super kind though! We recommend you check it out. read more

Asia Fusion - two plates of food on a table - Asian Fusion Near Me - Rochester, Minnesota

100% recommendation for this restaurant. My husband and I come here almost monthly, it's our favorite Thai fusion restaurant! From the amazing, flavorful fresh food, awesome variety and options for all dietary types (we are vegetarian) and wonderful staff and ambiance, we cannot rave about it enough. First, the staff whether calling for take out or dining in, is so helpful, polite, and professional. The only restaurant I don't dread calling to place a pick up order, they never get the order wrong and it's always ready in 20 min! The dine in service is wonderful too, so cozy and quiet, and it can be a great lunch or dinner spot with friends or date spot! Food is very fresh, large quantity's and quality for the reasonable price. Very large and delicious menu and drink options! Have never had a bad experience yet there and have been going 12 times a year for at least 3 years! read more

Wonderful selection & very well prepared! I wanted quality takeout & couldn't be happier with what I got.

Small, intimate place in a strip mall but worth a visit. Be sure to check the blackboard for the specials that are not printed on the menu. The pad Thai was very sweet without any veggies and without any flair, so I would take a hard miss on that one. The roasted duck was amazing-crispy skin, tender dark meat, and a fantastic spicy dip....I would have ordered it just for the tender Chinese broccoli under the duck! I can honestly say that I've never had a lemongrass chicken like this one: tons of crispy/delicious veggies and enokitake mushrooms! Wonderful yet unexpected! One more notation- Dining alone? Asia Fusion has quite a few solitary diners, happily eating read more

The ribeye ramen tastes so damn good . The pork broth in that ramen was so good, the ramen seafood was so good too. The Szechuan spicy chicken is so tasty and hot. My favorite drinks here is taro (it's damn good, the best taro I ever drank ), and the tea is so good too. The way they prepare the tea is so unique. I can tell that Asian fusion is the best asian restaurant in Minnesota read more

Hidden in a nondescript strip mall, Asia Fusion is quickly becoming my favorite restaurant in town. I've eaten there a total of six times now, and had two of the best dishes I've ever eaten in my life, two dishes which were good, and two dishes which were just okay. When taken as a whole experience, though, Asia Fusion is a great place to get good food at reasonable prices. And the staff are extremely friendly and helpful, too! Korean BBQ Beef - This was the dish that I had on my maiden voyage at Asia Fusion. It was okay, and the flavor of the beef was good. But the beef was also just a bit dry and chewy, not as tender as I was expecting. The kimchi dollop on top was not very flavorful, which surprise me. It's the first time that I'd had kimchi, and from what I had read from others, it's supposed to be very flavorful and spicy. All-in-all, just an okay dish. Roast Duck with Chinese Broccoli - If you love duck, you'll love this dish. Succulent, tender thick slices of duck sitting on a bed of Chinese broccoli (which is perfectly cooked al-dente). When dipped in the accompanying soy-ginger sauce, it becomes a dish of heavenly delight. So delicious! Basil Chicken - This dish is probably the most flavorful dish that I've ever eaten in my life. Minced chicken is combined with garlic in a flavorful sauce/broth filled with Thai basil leaves. And it was spicy! Not five alarm fire spicy, but spicy enough to make my nose run. The combination of the Thai basil with the garlic and chicken was out of this world delicious. The server also mentioned that this is their most popular dish. I can see why! Pork Belly - Another just "okay" dish. I'd never eaten pork belly before, so I wasn't sure what to expect. It was very fatty, which I assume in the way pork belly is. It was too much fat for my taste, and some of the pieces were too chewy. The flavor, however was good. There were only about six slices of pork belly, so if you get this dish, you'll probably want to eat all of the accompanying rice in order to feel satisfied. In the end, I just think that I'm not a fan of pork belly. Ramen Duck - This was my first time ever eating a ramen dish that didn't come from the grocery store. The saltiness of the first spoonful of broth shocked me, but I quickly got used to it. Your tolerance of salt may be a deciding factor in deciding to order a ramen dish. The broth was just okay, but the duck was magnificent, as usual. The noodles were good, and there were even a couple of eggs thrown in for good measure. Overall, I'd say the dish was good. Panang Chicken - This was wonderful. A rich, spicy coconut milk curry with strips of chicken and red and green peppers. Outstanding, with the only quibble being those strips of chicken. They seemed to be exactly the kind you'd find in any Chinese takeout joint. I thought it strange, because my wife's Masaman curry(also outstanding) had juicy hunks of chicken. Regardless, this was a great dish. read more

Excellent! I had the green curry chicken which was spicy and some of the best I've ever tasted (including very authentic Thai restaurants). My wife had the korean barbecue beef which was also delicious but the beef was a bit on tough side. Overall it was great food at a reasonable price and I'm looking forward to coming back. read more

I was honestly hoping to write an awesome review seeing how I saw multiple positive reviews about their basil (minced, not chunks) chicken. Being that basil is half the name, I only got tiny tiny pockets of basil. The name of this dish should be oyster sauce chicken because that's all you taste. It's very mild on spicy level as well. Rice was a bit dry and covered in sauce. Egg was cooked well though. I haven't had a chance to try any of the other foods but will think twice. Their portions are also extremely small, think lunch size, not at all close to a dinner entree as I probably got a ladle worth of minced chicken. read more

I was so surprised to find a good Asian restaurant in Minnesota. I ordered the crispy duck with fried rice & Tom yum soup for a party of two and still had leftovers for another day. It was an amazing meal & great service read more

-Duck over Fried Rice: Got the roasted duck over fried. The roasted duck was really good it had asian style BBQ sauce, just like that of peking duck that I'd get back in the OC. However, the duck was a bit salty. The fried rice on the other hand was perfectly seasoned, neither too sweet nor salty. -Pad Thai: I enjoyed the noodles- they had a nice, smooth texture and elasticity. I enjoyed the sauce but after a while it got a bit too sweet. -Crispy Duck: Definitely get this. I love the creativity of this. It's basically a deep fried roasted duck. However, it's freshly deep fried per order since these came out piping hot. Despite it being deep fried, the duck wasn't overcooked and tough either. They also debone all these- making it really fun, easy eat for customers. Service: The staff is so friendly and accomodating. They make sure to check in with you throughout the service and to see if we needed anything. Ambiance: It's an interesting vibe- it's more upscale the typical mom and pop shop asian restaurant. It felt like a boba shop meets higher end restaurant feel. Dimmer lights all around. Definitely a more lunch/dinner place. read more

Hidden gem, great price for high quality food in a modern atmosphere! Can't wait to return often. The panang curry was spicy enough to make me drink all my water but in a way that enhanced the flavor of the curry. We had also ordered the potstickers which were wonderful! read more

Had a great dinner with spring rolls to start and then we ordered the walnut shrimp and crispy pork belly. Both entrees were great however the spring rolls I wasn't a big fan of. They lacked a little more color and flavor compared to the ones I am used to around town. Great and speedy service plus the atmosphere was modern and warming. read more

Honestly, wish I didn't have to give this review because of the great tasting food (at least for Rochester availability of Asian cuisine). But that would be the only reason for a single star. This is my third time at this restaurant, and I waited 55 minutes for food to arrive. An understaffing issue, I would understand, if their waitresses or management would offer literally anything -- a discount, appetizer, or dessert. But by the end of a terribly long trek of hunger, it was told to my party that nothing could be offered for our inconvenience. The guests beside me were also visibly frustrated by their wait. And across the board, the management refuses to even acknowledge the appalling wait caused by a single waitress responsible for serving 25 hungry and dissatisfied guests. This restaurant actually has some of the better food in Rochester, their next move would be to consider customer satisfaction and management. read more

When I moved nearby I was excited to be near a restaurant that I loved. Fast forward two years and boy, they've fallen bad. I'm now sure about their main courses but they've really taken shortcuts on the favorite beef jerky appetizer. The sticky rice is definitely microwaved in the plastic Saran Wrap it's presented in and the meat isn't even juicy or flavorful like it used to be. I used Uber eats the last time I ordered and they had put all three of the same orders (for different people) on the same tray. Guess I'll have to split it up myself. What a decline.... read more

Great "hole in the wall" with nice ambiance. I have gone twice. First time I had crispy duck and second time had the ramen pork rib. The crispy duck has super amazing flavors, but as we all know when duck is cooked well done it becomes rubbery/tough, but no big deal. Still had a nice crispy texture. The ramen had very bold deep flavors but I have to say bone in pork ribs are a little awkward to eat in ramen. Overall I'd say they do a great job in taking normal Asian food and turning it into a new experience. Also they need more wait staff. There was only one person working the completely full dining room when we were there last. She did an AMAZING job but poor thing couldn't keep up and no one should expect her to. I am assuming/hoping someone just called in sick that night. read more

My doc at Mayo, when asked for his favorite restaurant. He shall remain nameless, but his recommendation was spot on. I had beef phô, and I do wish they had offered chicken pho. He had shrimp wonton soup, in a bowl as large as my phô, as well as crispy fried duck. Needless to say, we brought home a good portion. This restaurant gave us just what we needed, as refuge from the humdrum "family restaurants", and we were grateful. read more

Update: (take out due to COVID) stars are for taste only as consistency is an issue here. 1st time happy we found this place close to home for tasty authentic Asian food! 2nd & 3rd time (within same month) we were sadly disappointed. Had to wait an extra 15 min for one of our orders, we ordered online within 2 minutes of each other but an extra 15 minutes? It's like they forgot the order. So then the other order was cold! Also they are skimping on ingredients. 2 chunks of potato and 5 total peanuts in the massiman curry and no other veggies, so basically sauce and rice. Same thing twice with the green curry no eggplant? Other other veggies just sauce with your rice. If you like bone and fat... order their short ribs!!. They are plenty busy each time we go so I don't think it's a COVID related shortcoming. We're going to look for another place. Sad :( read more

Disappointed. Clean and quick service. Food was flavorful but texture sub par. Szechuan chicken was wonderfully spiced but quite dry. Korean BBQ short ribs were not ribs at all. They were thinly sliced beef shanks and were so tough, gristly and dried out, I could barely gnaw them off the bone. Most redeeming part of the meal was the warm sake. read more

Recently moved to the area and a true Thai food addict. For whatever reason, the name of the place, "Asia Fusion" seemed SO generic that I didn't even look twice. I'm glad I finally DID look twice! That had all the mainstays as well as some fine Viet dishes as well. I was pleasantly surprised by how tasty the food was. Will absolutely put this place on my regular rotation! Do think about a name change so we get a little more of an idea of what you're about besides non-specific "Asian" cuisine. ;-) read more

My daughter came here while family was going to Mayo Clinic. It's worth the 5-10 minute drive from downtown. My daughter commented on the pleasing aesthetic of the restaurant. Our server was very pleasant. She was not overly attentive. Since it was near closing time, we were the only customers. I didn't feel rushed or watched over. I had the chicken satay with peanut curry. I told the server I wished I wasn't from out of town because I would definitely be back for more. I mail be trying to find a copy cat recipe of this dish. My teenage daughter had the pork rib ramen. There were at least three large ribs in her bowl - very tender and delicious. I heard her going 'mmmm' as she was eating. read more

So wonderful! I wish I knew about this place a long time ago. The crispy squid is delightful -- not at all rubbery. The coconut chicken soup is basically a curry. It was heavy on the citrus or vinegar; much more sour than I was expecting. The crispy duck is the sort of dish that transports you to a different plane of delight. Everything comes out fresh and piping hot. They are taking extraordinary care with each dish to ensure it is the best it can be. My experience was that they hit that very lofty mark. read more
