Great place for some AYE sushi. Went with my MIL and little one, and it was a fun lunch experience. We enjoyed trying all the different bits of the menu, including the hand rolls, sushi, deep fried goodies, and soups. This is a value meal for the price of $18.99/person. Some highlights were the tomago (egg) sushi, mackerel / eel / salmon sushi, eel cucumber roll, and the salmon teriyaki. The ice cream was a bit mediocre and some the pan fried items were a bit too greasy (avoid shu mai and dumpling but a yes for the shrimp / squid / taro tempura. Great place and look forward to coming back!

The food was great and the staff were very attentive. The place was a bit small but very clean. I would say, it wouldn't be the best place if there was a huge party though. There was a good variety of food to choose from and the food was very tasty. My table ordered our food and when it came out, they had combined the duplicate dishes and had the sushi all on one plate. This was fine as we were ok with sharing our food and eating a family style lunch. I love how it was a buffet so we can order as much as we would like. Also, some of the food has a small portion so we could order just a little bit to try each item. For example, the shrimp tempura. One order of the shrimp tempura comes with just one but if I want more, I can just order more. This comes in handy as we would be charged for food waste, which is understandable because it is a buffet and they don't want people to be wasting food. I loved the fried dumplings and the fried shu mai! The beef udon was very tasty and refreshing as well. The soft and chewy udon noodles really went well with the crunchy veggies they had in the soup. I've never had sashimi before, but I tried their yellow tail sashimi and it wasn't too bad. I was surprised that it wasn't as fishy as what I had imagined and the cucumber slices they gave with it really complimented the fish. Overall, I would definitely go back with my kids and as a date night. I live about an hour away from Rochester, but I would definitely make the drive just for this place.

Yum, yum, yum!!! My favorite place to go for sushi. I can't get enough of their Fantasy Rolls.

One of my favorite spots in Rochester! The all you can eat menu is HUGE and the food is so fresh and well prepared. The service is good, the restaurant is clean and the prices are fair. It's my go to sushi joint in Rochester!

    Chicken ramen, meh.

Two huge reasons that I will be back, the service was excellent and they serve Coke products. I had the AYCE, and I did. The rolls are good, but didn't stand out against other sushi spots. The beef teriyaki was super tender. The chicken ramen was not great, but this is not a ramen house, so I didn't expect it to be wonderful. I would love if the place wasn't so dimly lit, but whatevs. Like I said, I'll visit again.

I went during lunch. I believe the "all you can eat" price is $15.99 for their lunchtime. I was quite impressed with how fast the wait staff took my order, and with how fast my food arrived. All the hot food was served fresh and piping hot, which was nice. I ate a lot of other foods besides the sushi. I had the dumplings, chicken wings, ramen, vegetable fried rice, and fried scallops. All of the food was good. It's essentially a buffet, so don't expect to go into it expecting the best tasting sushi ever. They charge if you waste food. My sever actually asked on my second order if I "was going to eat everything." I told her that I wouldn't let her down, and I finished everything on my plate. I then ordered more food. My only complaint is that I ordered the beef teriyaki, but didn't receive it. However, I had devoured enough other food. So I will just have to wait until next visit!

We went there for lunch and did the "all you can eat" option. The menu is large and everything is made after you order. The only problem I had with them is we ordered one particular roll and neither of us liked it so we left six pieces. They charged us for the roll because they said we were wasting food. Nothing I could say would make them budge on it. So be warned make damn sure you like it before you order it!!! I think charging a a customer for food they don't like is ridiculous! We ate ever else we ordered.

First of all the food was absolutely delicious for the price second of all the service was amazing third of all the ambiance was amazing I loved the decorations If I could rate a 10 out of 5 I would

This place does have really good food - no question there. Everything I've had (across teriyaki,…read moretempura, sushi, rolls, handrolls, other apps, soup) has been great. Couple of odd things, one of them keeping me from being there eating dinner right now because I'd -really- like some sushi and they're right down the street: 1. the place has three websites. I'm not referring to the fact there's a North and a South location, or referring to Yelp or anything - just... three different websites. It's strange. 2. They charge a 33% uplift for all-you-can-eat dinner, at near-zero value-add. I know this because I went in, had the dinner, and found out at bill time it was uplifted over lunch... simply by virtue of being dinner. I understand that "dinner", time-wise, tends to mean different portion sizes in other contexts, different staffing levels, it's where you make your money unless you are a bar, etc. And in this case they broaden the menu slightly, adding sashimi as an option. I'm not a chef but I'm thinking that takes less labor to produce than about anything else. On the flip side of that, I'm sure sashimi, if someone was determined, is the fastest avenue for the restaurant to burn through material cost... if someone came in for three hours eating sashimi 5 pieces at a time and got away with it. That's the risk of running any all-you-can-eat offering - sometimes the bull, sometimes the horns. The food, cleanliness, staff etc is, without question, great. I'll definitely eat lunch there in the future.

I don't know whether it was called Asian Pacific Market at the time. I remember bringing my mom to check the place out when she was visiting. It was run by a couple. I ended up getting a case of ramen noodles because I have always loved eating them growing up. While checking out my old neighbourhood, I swung by to check this market out again. The Chinese restaurant that I never frequented is still in this plaza, across from this store. I believe that this market took over another store and tore down a wall. It's definitely larger than I remember it to be. I parked and walked inside. I loved seeing all ingredients to create your own banh mi. The snacks looked good, from shrimp flavour chips, to roasted seaweed. I was happy. The man cashing folks out asked me if I needed any help. I was browsing and reminiscing. I was good. I ended up getting a box of Choco Pie. Each pie is individually wrapped. Chocolate and banana work nicely together. I ended up bringing half of them back to Canada because my eyes were bigger than my stomach. I found Korean ramen and decided to give it a try. I got the mild flavour, which had a bit of a kick. I loved how chewy the noodles were. Full marks for them. You can only pay with a credit card if your total is at least $10. Thankfully, mine was. My credit card transaction worked nicely. The man was personable and helpful. We wished each other a great night as I happily headed to my car with my purchases. I like that there are more places in the city to get Asian ingredients and food. I'm happy that this market is still here. It was nice being back. (451)

Just wanted a bit more sauce. The salmon was cooked well with a crispy skin underneath. Flavors played together nicely with the textures. We enjoyed the dessert as the textures (there's a theme here) had great interplay with the flavors in the dish. Only wish that pastry was hot. The ambience is nice and chill. It can feel a bit cramped but gives kinda a speakeasy vibe meets hipster. Note that finding parking is a bit challenging here. There are two booths on the window that would make excellent date spots. The reason for the rating is due to the service. I made a reservation for the spot and made reference to it being our anniversary. However, nothing was done to reference the reason for the dinner. I had never been there and didn't know about the booth availability. The place was busy but we didn't get much attention (menus were left on the table, didn't get small plates to eat the Drummies properly, got one refill of water toward the end, etc). I felt bad about this rating because I've read people enjoying the experience. However, this is what I experienced. The food is great. Service could be better.
