Went to the place and got the staff recommended Wabi Sabi Poke Bowl. The appetizer was cream cheese fried wontons. Loved how they made them fresh! The poke bowl did have some good flavor. However, I was a bit underwhelmed with the quality of tuna. There wasn't much complexity to the dish. The place is known for their ramen. So I would go for that next. I still think about this spot! I wish I could have ate at the location as it was well decorated. Unfortunately, they were only doing take-out due to being under staffed. We Went to Wabi Sabi for Korean Chicken 8/12/2025 12:15 Lunch Jadon waited on us. He made the experience really lovely. He described the Korean chicken sauces, as we were not sure which ones we would prefer. Our three hosts were all so very welcoming. Auntie seated us. Nephew came to the table to ask how we liked our meal, we talked with him at length. Jadon was so polite and gracious, he really made the whole experience shine. The food was delicious! We looked up Korean Chicken in Rochester, not expecting to find any locations. As recently, having enjoyed Korean Chicken at several well-known Korean chains locations in Naperville, with heavy Asian population, and a west suburb of Chicago. The Wabi Sabi menu was really extensive for soups, Pho, the house known locally for their Ramen, Spring rolls and egg rolls, potstickers, Katsu, fried rices, bowls, Chinese dishes, and combinations thereof, a very long detailed four-page menu. I could eat here many times, trying delicious and different dishes each time. They also offered boba drinks of many fruit flavors. The dining area is small, quaint, and beautifully decorated...three tables and six additional individual counter seats, and also take out. We enjoyed eating there very much. Went to the skyway location. Ahi tuna poke bowl was mostly shredded carrots, radish, and cabbage. Not very many ingredients. If i wanted a salad i would've gone to Salad Brothers. Staff was nice and food came out reasonably quickly. Maybe their other food is good. read more

I cant even say how excited I was to see this open on the SE side of Rochester. A great addition to the area. The menu has Noodle Soups to Sushi Rice Bowl. Plenty of different appetizers. From Wings to Fried Tofu and Egg Roll Lettuce Wraps . They also have Healthy Salad Bowls, Stir Fry's and different Fried Rices combinations. They offer 5 different types of Ramen Noodle Soups from Miso to Shoyu . Even the Pho Noodle Sou has 5 different variations. On my first visit I enjoyed the Egg Roll Lettuce Wraps . Seems a fusion to two great starters. They were crunch and had great flavor . The duck dipping sauce was a great pair. I also enjoyed the Spicy Tuna Rice Bowl $9. Will not disappoint, huge but flavorful portions for cheap. We started our meal with the egg roll lettuce wraps which is essentially two egg rolls cut in half ($4) and they were amazing, served on a leaf of romaine and with sweet chili dipping sauce. I ordered a Thai bubble tea, also delicious ($4) For our mains I had the pork ramen and my boyfriend had the sweet soy chicken ramen. Massive bowls, one serving could feed two people or one large man. Each only $10 packed with an assortment of marinated ramen eggs, mushrooms, carrots etc. Delicious chewy noodles and broths you want to bathe in. We also ordered some chicken fried rice, with amazing flavor profile of a well seasoned wok, the Smokey aromatic rice with plenty of vegetables and tender chicken. Amazing. Massive portion enough to have as a side for 5 adults. Only $10. Our bill came to $39 with enough leftovers for an entire other meal. Service was amazing. The atmosphere is cozy, small dining space perfect for a noodle shop. On the south side of town in a rougher area (as rough as rochester can get which isn't bad at all) The ramen we had was perfect for the negative degree weather we were having. He explained about rising costs and not being able to get the new menus yet. Definitely not an issue and understandable. I ordered a ramen white soup with Pork...do not remember the name. So flavorful. I loved the eggs in it and just the broth on its own was quite tasty. The veggies were perfect as well, not over cooked as in some soups. I also ordered the appetizer of spicy chicken jalapeños. Hopefully that was the name. OMGOSH...so good! I would give anything to have the sauce recipe. Nom! The chicken was not overcooked nor undercooked. My husband had a seafood dish with the mound of rice. The Scallops and Calamari were again cooked to perfection! 2 items that are quite often overcooked and then are chewy. He liked the sauce because it wasn't a sweet sauce.
