My wife usually orders the Triple Delight and tonight did not disappoint. When her plate arrived I said Wow, what a beautiful presentation. The fresh brocolli florettes, snow peas and expertly carved carrots were bright, crisp and delicious. We were in the mood for Pho, so we stopped in to this local spot! Plenty of parking in the strip mall lot! The space inside is clean and sizeable, although generic. We've been a few times now and have never had to wait for a table. The servers are all very friendly and helpful. Their egg rolls are a star: crispy, crunchy, and filled with a lovely blend! We made the trip here because it was one of the only pho places open late on a Saturday night. It was highly recommended by friends so we were excited to try it. The initial welcome was weak, we were left waiting at the front without even a glance from the gal at the front desk for about 5 minutes. We were finally seated and again not welcomed for several more minutes. There were very few patrons at 8:30PM. We decided on pho, beef stir fry, shrimp spring rolls, and cream cheese wontons. Tried this place again. College aged kid didn't care for chicken lo mein and he eats everything. I ordered tofu with vegetables and this had no flavor. I used the fish sauce to add to fried rice. The soup wasn't sealed and lids broke off and spilled onto my tablecloth. The soup is a useless add on to take out lunch. The egg roll was small. They seem to be cutting food portions and flavor. We tried the spring rolls and chicken wings first. It came with two large spring rolls cut in half and peanut sauce. The spring rolls and sauce were pretty awful. This is one of my favorite spots for takeout in Burnsville! The staff is very friendly and welcoming. I've only gotten takeout, but they do have a spacious dining room if you prefer to dine in. There is a large parking lot out front so no issues with parking. They have a great lunch special for just under $12 that comes with soup, an appetizer, an entree and rice. My go-to order is the chicken lomein and egg rolls. Hands down my favorite egg rolls! There was 6 of us that ordered different lunch specials and all of us had the same experience with our food, some parts were good, but no one finished (nor planned to finish) their meals. For the lunch option you get a soup, appetizer, and entree for $10.95! I chose the egg drop soup and I thought it was very bland. I chose an eggroll as my app, and it was pretty good! For my entree I tried the pork over rice noodle. The meat was flavorful, so I did finish that, but the rest of the meal just wasn't hitting the spot. The flavors just weren't all there even though I was wanting to love it so much! We picked up lunch today for 5 of us. The food was awful. We had sweet and sour chicken that was tough and cold, the cream cheese wantons were cold and hard. Out of the 5 meals we ordered, 5 were thrown away. We used to go there often because the food was so good, however we had not been back for a couple years, and will never go back again. We were regular customers of this restaurant pre COVID. We used to love getting the banh xeo here, it was abnormally big and had a lot of great stuffing with pork, shrimp and bean sprouts. The pho was decent here but not anything memorable. The reason why I am rating a 3/5 is due to my most recent experience. I noticed prices went up significantly for the appetizers. For example, the spring rolls are now close to $8 and they used to be around $4-5. I bought only two orders of spring rolls to go and spent $18, which is about $1-2 more than some other pho restaurants in nearby suburbs. The spring rolls had quite a lot of lettuce and not as much noodles or meat either so that was disappointing. They don't give you peanut sauce either, just hoisin which is interesting. read more

It's a huge super thin rice cake wrapped around shrimp pork and veggies. Pieces of this you roll in a lettuce leaf with mint and devour with a smile on your face. Cam Ranh Bay is a regular place my family goes to when wanting Chinese food. The dining space is always immaculate and clean - the staff are always friendly and attentive. We got a couple of the appetizer platters which were fantastic and a great portion for a group of 5 adults and a toddler to nibble on while waiting for entrees. I ordered a wine and the first one I asked for, they didn't have. Same for the second and third choice. No biggie - I'm not a wine connoisseur so I settled for another red and it was fine. My sister in law ordered a soda and never got it but when we asked to have it removed from the receipt, he did so and also brought her a bottle of her requested soda which was nice. Our entrees were tasty (like always) and everything is always cooked perfectly. Some places skimp out on meat but not here, they do it right and it's delicious each time. Meat was nothing to write home about. All seemed overcooked and very dry. And not very much, which may have been ok. The add in also were nothing special and the basil looked a little old. No peppers. Jar of pepper oil on table had no oil, only a little moist peppers. My granddaughter had the Shrimp, Crab, and Pork soup. She really loved the broth. Made me happy. She also loves fake crab so she wasn't disappointed there. There were a couple of shrimp and she found some pork. Overall it was OK. Service was good. Nice looking place. Will I return? Our meals were both Chicken and Steak.. Chicken was large chunks overly cooked until dry and tasteless. Steak was chunky, very tough and hard to chew, and not tasty.
