This was such a disappointing experience. I've eaten here multiple times and talk about how great this place is but this was not the experience I had tonight. My mom placed an online order to be picked up at 6:46. We arrived closer to 7 and my boyfriend stated the name of our order and waited 10 minutes. He told the host our order name again and she acted like she had no idea what he was talking about. They didn't have our order that we had confirmation for and instead of working on our order, we had to wait for 40 minutes for our dinner. We ordered this food to make our lives easier for baking and cleaning tonight for thanksgiving prep and instead it put us behind. They offered an extra order of pho and in the end didn't give it to us because whoever was in the back said no. The food was not the quality it usually is either. The wontons were very chewy, the rice flour cake was a messy and burnt a bit, and the pad Thai leaked in the bag and spilled over everything else. There was nearly a cup of watery sauce in the bag. This was a disappointing experience and I'm not sure I'll be back after this. This is some of the worst customer service I've experienced. read more

Go to pho place! Good every time we go. Flavors are authentic. Service is good, they don't rush you and let you take your time. Pay at the register. They have different options on weekends usually. I said no eggs in the fried rice about 7 times, (yes I was counting) and they started getting annoyed even though the last 4 times they messed this up. The fried rice had egg in it. My wife heard this was a good spot from a co-worker so we made the 30 min drive. It's good but not great. Nice on the inside and the service is good! Chicken wings were my fav but the Pho lacked flavor and I prefer the larger meatballs! My wife ordered the duck noodle soup which she enjoyed as well. Absolutely delicious and spot on flavor. I ordered takeout from this restaurant and it was ready as soon as we arrived. I got the veggie pho and spring rolls. When I got home the soup broth was still warm enough to combined with the ABSOLUTELY MASSIVE portion of noodles and veggies- I couldn't even finish it all!! The flavor was perfect and exactly what I was craving from this complex meal. I feel silly for ordering a side of spring rolls because I was so full from the delicious pho that I almost couldn't fit them in my tummy! Definitely worth the drive. not the best pho i've had, unfortunately. i got the pho ga and the broth was just lacking flavor for me. the broth was fatty though (as you can see in the picture), which i thought would've made it taste top notch, but it ended up being whatever. they were a little skimpy on the green onions and cilantro. i wish there were more of it. considering the location of this place, it was alright and worth stopping in in my opinion if you have a vietnamese food craving. however, i wouldn't recommend coming here if you're looking for stellar, impressive pho. the service was nice, warm and welcoming which is a nice plus. read more

My family and I were here the other day for lunch and had a wonderfully delightful experience. For appetizers, our kids wanted the cream cheese wonton. My father-in-law ordered the eggrolls as well. We ordered the black bean tofu dish (it came with rice), the grilled chicken banh mi (extra pate and extra daikon / carrots). My husband ordered the tofu bun vermicelli noodle bowl which he said was the best tofu dish he had in a long time. Other family members ordered chicken with snow peas. They loved it as well. I remember when this place used to rent out of saigon market off hwy 13, and everytime I went there i'd order seafood pho with veggie broth. As a pescatarian I didn't want the tradition beef broth or pho ga. The staff, always friendly and always makes sure the customer is always satisfied. I like discovering a hidden food find. I felt like pho while I was in Burnsville. I did a quick search and found Pho 45. I drove over here for dinner. What's interesting is that Pho 45 is located inside Saigon Asian Food Market. Cool! I parked in a spot where there was a thirty-minute limit. I didn't bother moving my car. I felt that I could eat my dinner during this period. I also didn't see anyone from parking keeping tabs on every vehicle parked in this plaza. You enter on the left of this large store. Pho 45 is on the right side. I walked over there, stopped at the counter, and asked if I could dine in. The woman grabbed a menu and had me seated at a table. A nice man took my order. I got water and P2 on the menu, which is the rare tenderized beef and beef ball pho. I got the large. I didn't go nuts with the extra large because portion sizes in the States tend to be huge. I got my water first. The condiments for my pho (lime wedge, bean sprouts, hot peppers, and mint) came out next. Finally, my bowl of pho was placed in front of me. I was excited. The broth was excellent. It was flavourful and authentic. The tenderized beef was fine. I like thin rare beef, but I didn't see that on the menu. The beef balls were cut into quarters. They looked large even quartered and were yummy. The pho was perfect. The onions and green onions completed everything. The only downside is that most beverages on the menu weren't available for order. You could only get regular pop drinks. I declined. You pay at the counter. I used a credit card. It took a couple of tries for some odd reason, but everything worked out in the end. My meal was just over $10. Cheap good eats. Yes! I highly recommend coming here for a comforting bowl of pho. I walked in to get takeout on New Years Day. They were busy. I placed an order for 3 lunch entrees and waited and waited and waited. I checked my phone at 1:29 and was going to give to 1:45 or I'd walk out as I didn't pay yet. They had many eat in tables. It seemed to them that take out orders were low priority. The worker apologized and gave me 25% off my order. It may be awhile if I return. Takeout customers should be treated with same priority as eat in customers. read more

I love that all these new Vietnamese spots are moving into the South Metro. I loving having options. We ordered the big bowl of pho, grilled pork chop Banh Mi sandwich, egg rolls and Bun Bo Hue. Didnt get a chance to take a picture of the egg rolls or Bun Bo Hue, kids were hungry and waited a while for the food to come out. There must have been a call out. The wait was worth it. The Pho was nice and hot for a winters night. The broth was amazing and warms you right up. The egg rolls were good. The Banh Mi was good but the next time I get it I'm going to ask they don't toast the bread as it hurts the roof of my mouth. Over all it was a good balanced sandwich. My son enjoyed the Bun Bo Hue. 1 st time eating at this restaurant and I will definitely be back. All the food I have ordered for myself came out to be so delicious. I strongly recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves Vietnamese food... the pho broth was excellent especially with the thin layer of beef fat on-top of the pho broth makes a huge difference in the flavor profile. The papaya salad was super delicious, but I do wish they didn't drown the dish in sauce. The great thing about this restaurant is that it's located inside the grocery store, you can shop and eat delicious food all in one visit. Great times! We were the only customers at the time so can't vouch for their rush capability. This small restaurant seems nice enough with a welcoming ambiance. They fill a much needed niche for this area. Visiting over any holiday is crazy when everyone in the family is running here & there so we opted to find a pho place just for us near the hotel ... this was a great find & open on Christmas Eve too! Hubby really enjoy his Grilled Chicken Vermicelli (nice serving) and I loved the veggie Pho. Plus we share some spring rolls which were fresh & delicious. Although I ordered just the L serving... both servings were huge & absolutely delish! The restaurant was clean & orderly - all the staff were happy & smiling - service was perfect (although they were cleaning & closing - they did not rush us to finish). On our first day in the Minneapolis area, we settled on Pho 45 for lunch based on all the reviews here. Hard to find as it's located inside a smaller Vietnamese grocery store and your only indication that you're in the right place is a red poster board that says "Pho 45" in permanent marker. This is exactly my kinda place. We had a party of 4 adults and 7 kids (yes, 7) and they were really accommodating! Fast service, extra bowls for kids to share, and just a good rhythm to the meal. I ordered the grilled pork chop and my 2 year old practically ate half of it because he liked it so much. Half of my family ordered the sesame chicken and for a Vietnamese restaurant, we were all pleasantly surprised how yummy it was. The actual pho was pretty decent too. Definitely too 5 of all the Pho's I've ever tried. They even had a fridge of Vietnamese desserts that I grew hp eating so it was a nice way to end the meal. Best part was that the prices were extremely reasonable with the consideration of inflation and all. We definitely would recommend!! read more
