Hate to do this but this is so you can be informed if an error occurs with your order. I ordered ahead here on a saturday from there website; basic order with Veggie egg rolls and basil fried rice. They are relatively decent but over past year, I noticed their rice hasnt been as good. Well I ordered Veggie Egg rolls because I am a vegetarian and immediately biting into the egg noticed the texture and it was definitely and Pork..havent had meat in over 7 years so I am glad I didnt consume it; might have made me sick. I called the restaurant to sort it out they said they cant give refund if ordered from their website because its a 3rd party...They did say come to store and we can give you a cash refund but I had already departed to my destination. Just frustrating that they could not even give me the customer service number to the third-party, nor was it on the receipt and said they didn't know how to contact the third-party...Definitely my last visit here

A full menu of delicious-ness! One waiter was trying to cover way too much territory, so the service was slow, but we were in no hurry (until the end, when we had to pay the bill and get to the theater which was difficult. Moderate prices, good portions, nice!

My husband and I came here for a quick dinner on our way to curling one Thursday evening and wanted to try to find a new Thai place with good food. We tried the Coconut Shrimp and Crispy Salad to start and then shared Chicken Red Curry for our meal. Every dish was very good and we liked the spice caddy on every table! The only feedback I'd have is that we purposely got our curry "mild" so we could separately add spice (my husband likes it hot and me not so much). But even at mild it was a little too hot for me to truly enjoy or appreciate the nutty warm flavors. For how great the food was the service was just OK. There was one person working that we could see and while she only had five or six tables, the service was very slow and borderline inattentive. Other than that we'd probably try it again to see if it was an anomaly.

Big fan! The soup was some of the best Tom Kha Gai that I've had! Delicious flavor and lots to share. All of the portions were very generous. The drunken noodle was more flavorful than most and the pad Thai had thinner noodles than I have had in the past, but was delicious with the beef as well. I love that they put chili oil, dried chilis and other condiments on the table for you so you don't have to ask for them. I will definitely be back!!

We absolutely love this place and make sure to visit every time we are in town. The spice level and flavors are always on point. Service is fast friendly and attentive. The portion sizes are enough to feed two people if you want to split an entree. They have plenty of seating and a nice little patio too.

Me and my partner recently stopped into this place for dinner and boy it was delicious and a great ambiance. The dimmed lights made it feel very intimate. I had the khao soy noodles which were the perfect consistency and my partner had the beef pad kra pow and it was cooked to perfection. Will Be coming back. The service was friendly as well.

Under new ownership since 2020ish and it's so damn good! Everything was unbelievably fresh and flavorful. The sweet & sour chicken was not a thick corn syrupy version you'd see at some other places. It was bright and vibrant. They put the Woooo in the pad woon sen! I'm surprised Ric Flair isn't part owner here. Excellent light dipping sauce for the wontons. Clean bathrooms. Small parking lot but idgaf, I'm coming back!

Excellent! This is how Thai Food should ALWAYS be. We ordered the Tom Kha Gai, Veggie Fried Rice, and the Thai Crying Steak and they were all perfectly cooked with perfectly balanced flavors. The ingredients were so fresh, it was just SOOOO GOOD. We will be back as often as we visit the twin cities!

interesting meal. They came out and looked and smelled wonderful. I got the red curry with seafood and my daughter got the yellow curry with seafood. Those vegetables and seafood were fresh, but I must say that it was rather bland. Thai food can be mild, medium or hot. I got mild, but that should not reduce the other flavors. It seems that they skiimped on the other spices that give that rich coconut milk and curry flavor when you order something like this. with a bit more care and focus on the flavoring, this could've been five stars.

A great choice for Thai food! Was very impressed by the selection of dishes you could get and how fast the food was prepared! For fried rice and panaang curry we maybe waited 10 minutes max! Great service, our waiter was very attentive to us. Only downside I can think of is that parking is a little difficult if its busy.

Does anyone know their heat scale? I want to order online but they don't list an option for heat....thinking about just writing it in the comment section of each dish. 1-5, 5 being the hottest?

It's pretty low heat, from my experience.

With two locations that are both consistently amazing, I've never had a single subpar experience. The restaurants are clean, simple and have great service. One thing I really appreciate is how clearly they label gluten-free and vegetarian options. The menu is packed with choices for different dietary restrictions. Every dish feels thoughtfully crafted and full of bold, authentic flavor. My go-to favorites are the pad thai, green curry, drunken noodles, Thai fried rice, yellow curry, and the spring rolls, they truly never miss. If you're new to Thai food, you can't go wrong starting with the pad thai and fried rice. If you like a little spice and depth of flavor, definitely add a curry to the mix. The portions are generous (perfect for sharing), and everything is consistently fresh and delicious. I can't recommend Coconut Thai enough!

I've tried numerous menu items, including their Laab, Pad-ga-pow, mango salad, pineapple curry, pad Thai and Prik Prik Moo Grop. There's another dish I've tried there that seems it's no longer on their menu but it was a curry seafood dish served in an actual coconut. It was amazing! My favorites so far are the mango salad and pad Thai. The #70 Moo Grop dish is a close one for top picks but my only complaint is the pork chunks weren't my preferred texture. The sauce, however, is a show stealer. I could literally drink it! It's that good. I've personally never had a negative eating experience with Ons but my husband did complain to me about their pineapple curry. He orders his food at the spiciest level, and I only ever tried a bite of his, but he thought it was very sour and tasted pickely. It was not the best curry I've had but I didn't think it was bad. I'm a seasoned Thai food eater - it's basically all I eat. So I've tried all of the Thai spots in the twin cities. On's is sitting in my top two. I've never eaten inside the restaurant so I can't say much for the service, but I have been in the restaurant to pick up orders and there isn't much to say for its ambiance. It's a very casual setting. My only complaint about Ons is that they serve their curry in shallow containers which makes for smaller portions. If they served their curry in soup containers and gave larger portions, they'd be my go-to spot every time. Right now, my other favorite Thai spot has them beat on curry portions. But that doesn't stop me from coming back for other menu items.

When I drove by, I wasn't sure if they were open because it was so dark inside and we didn't see an open sign. I tried the spring rolls, pad see ew and the order of the wontons. I absolutely LOVED the spring rolls. They tasted fresh, and I enjoyed the basil in them. When I come back this is a must for me. The wontons were good and spiced well, but not my favorite out there. The main dish, pad see ew, got a lot of compliments so we went with that dish. I really enjoyed that as well - flavors of basil and ginger paired well with the thick noodles and veggies. I added chicken for $2 and I thought there was a generous potion of protein added for that amount. Was enough for me and my partner to share and had some leftover. Overall, great experience and we will be back.

The sauce that came with it is also a perfect pairing to the dish. The 4 pieces really fill you up so definitely good for its price. Portions are definitely good at this restaurant and you can easily find street parking in the neighborhood behind. Mohinga was okay. It was behind the first two times I came here. The fish cake in Mohinga was tasty as well as the fried peas. The boat noodle has very rich flavor. Broth was good and they gave generous amount of bean sprouts. La Phat Ye was good. In terms of food, there is a mixture of Burmese, Thai, and Karen dishes, and each one that my friends and I have ordered has been a hit. The tea leaf salad has amazing texture because of peanuts and fried garlic, which provide crunchiness, and has amazing flavor because of lemon juice, fish sauce, and tomatoes. The noodle salad has a light taste without adding the given lime piece, and then the rich nutty taste gets evoked and elevated upon adding lime juice. The zaap crispy has very well-seasoned fried chicken pieces, and medium spice level gives it a good amount of flavor. The shan khao soi is so creamy and tasty that even tasting the curry broth itself is a sensational experience, and the chicken leg included literally has "fall off the bone" meat. The boat noodle has a mixture of sweetness and savor, while the sweet flavor does not overpower anything at all. Finally, the mohinga clearly has fish cake flavor and texture fully infused, making it authentically delicious. We also ordered the knyaw iced salad, which was a mixture of ice along with crackers and other types of sweet ingredients. I thought it was very similar to a type of Vietnamese dessert called chè ba màu (three color pudding), and fully enjoyed it. The establishment only had one dessert, and I thought that was sufficient. While the street contains many excellent restaurants, I personally believe that this establishment stands out in terms of taste. I must also mention that since my friends and I arrived when barely anyone else was there each time we had gone there, we never experienced any service delays that some have mentioned in their reviews. I probably will give this place a 5 rating anyway even if I experience slowness, although I hope I don't.
