Panang Curry
Ben K.

This is one of our favorite casual night out spots! It's easy, tasty, and good value! Plenty of parking available in this strip mall lot! The space itself is decently sized, the decor is a bit generic, but we've never had to wait for a table. The servers are always incredibly friendly and service is quick! Their Panang Curry is one the best I've ever had! Creamy, spicy, and bursting with flavor! Large serving and paired with rice. To be honest, it's the only thing I've ever ordered in the 5+ times I've been here...it's just that good!

Bubble tea and Coconut soup

Decided to stop here while we were on our way to pick up kids at Valley Fair, especially since hubby was craving something with peppers and some spice. Friendly staff, nice atmosphere. My husband ordered the Pad Mixed vegetables and it looked great- he said the veggies were nice and crispy, but needed to add a little hoisin and sriracha for more flavor. The noodle salad was great! Loved the sweet, vinegar-y dressing, and the pork and shrimp were flavorful and tender. My daughter ordered the Thom Kha Gai Coconut soup and said it was really good. We also ordered chicken satay, which were very flavorsome and tender. Overall, good first impression!

You're able to select your spice level to every dish! I think that's very unique. Customer service was genuine and helpful. Atmosphere was quiet. The decor and choice of music contradicts the type of food imo. They had Classic Rock music playing, Zebra and clay statue paintings, but had chop sticks on the table instead of silverware and boba tea. Nonetheless, I enjoyed the service, food, and environment. Waiter recommended me the Pad See Ewe - Mild spice because I'm on a low spice diet for the next few months. I wish I would have ordered medium spice level though, because the mild spice level was almost tasteless.

The food is absolutely amazing!! Went a couple days ago & it had me and my sis singing and dancing in our seats Spring rolls and that peanut sauce are great Cream cheese wontons are phenomenal ‍ Sweet & sour chicken was top notch! Shrimp pad thai was perfection Just went back today for lunch and got the Pad prik king Like do they miss, at all?!? lol Good prices plus lunch specials (entree + app for $11) and a punch card for carryouts. Who knew I'd find my new fave spot right around the corner

Solid place with good portions and good lunch specials! The chicken of Thai was what you would expect and my favorite part was they didn't skimp on chicken. The egg role was flaky and packed with flavor. I will definitely hit it up again. It's easy to miss if your not paying attention as it's in a strip mall but thankfully google maps got me there. Service was good and covid protocol was followed!

Food was very good. Music to loud for that little space though. Can hardly have a conversation. We will take out next time.

Best Thai food "south of the river" and fair prices, too. Dine in or take out--you will be glad you did.

This is the best Thai restaurant! I love both the pad thai and pad woon sen. I add shrimp to both.

Joy's Thai Cuisine - Chicken with red curry

My go to dish is always…read morethe chicken red curry but be warned that when ordering a spice level it can be a tad inconsistent so ordering a level lower is your wisest move, unless you're a serious spice junkie... It's always a warm welcome when walking in the door. I've truly never had a bad experience in this cozy little place.

But I'm very picky about one thing, and it really bothered me. First, we ordered takeout, so I can't fully speak to the dine-in experience. That said, from the couple of minutes I was inside, the restaurant seemed nice and clean. The staff was friendly, and my order was ready ahead of time. Second, the food was great. It was probably the second-best Thai food I've had. I ordered the drunken noodles, and they were delicious. I would definitely get them again. My wife got the Rama and said she liked mine better, but she had no major complaints about hers. I liked her dish too. The egg rolls were also great, and the dipping sauce was amazing, although the portions felt small for the price. So why 3 stars? I really cannot stand when restaurants pass service or online ordering fees directly onto customers instead of building those costs into menu prices. I hate getting to checkout and seeing a surprise fee added at the end. This place is the worst I've seen recently. We were charged nearly $5 in fees for ordering just three items online. Some people might assume that is just the unavoidable cost of online ordering, but the restaurant includes a disclaimer saying 100% of that fee goes directly to them. I think that's ridiculous. Just bake it into the menu prices instead of surprising customers at checkout.

Our order always shows up on time and is well packed for traveling. I love the veggie egg rolls and the Thai Papaya Salad (although I wish I could get a half order and slightly less spice but still delicious). The Kao Poon Chicken is sooo tasty. Very flavorful and all of the veggies were so fresh. I also really enjoyed the Tom Kha and Lo Mein. Everything was really tasty so I'm sure it's even better when you eat it in-house!

I'll always want to try a new-to-me Asian food place. In this case, try once and not again…read more I ordered the Lo Mein with chicken, Vegetarian Egg Rolls, Spring Rolls with shrimp, and the Yum Salad. The best thing I ate was the Spring Rolls, but I had to add my own peanut sauce because they came without. The full lettuce leaf in the roll held it together nicely in the whisper-thin wrapper. Unfortunately the rolls lacked any flavor and were mostly rice noodles and lettuce. Even the three shrimp - sliced in half - lacked flavor *and hadn't been cleaned. :O Lacking flavor was the theme for my dinner as the Lo Mein was bland and the chicken pieces overcooked and dry. I couldn't finish it. Similarly, the vegetarian Egg Rolls were terribly bland and I pitched two of the four. Finally, the Yum Salad had a nice dressing but was otherwise not worth the price.
