74. Hot and Spicy Chicken yummmm
Debra M.

I love a good Hot & Spicy Chicken or Lemongrass Chicken. It was a good-sized dish with lots of onions and plenty of heat. Chicken was plentiful, moist, and flavorful. I'm not a fan of green bell peppers, but there weren't a ton. For my second dish I ordered the Seafood Galaxy with Hunan sauce and Hoo-nan I'm glad I got it on the side. It looked as expected, a rich brown spicy sauce; but when I dipped a steamed shrimp in to taste it, it was a mouthful of salt. So glad I didn't drown my food in it because the Steamed Seafood gives you big, moist, chunky shrimp and scallops. Alas, the crab meat was imitation. Sprinkling the dish with Ponzu made it perfect. Egg Rolls were egg rolls, perfectly good and perfectly average. I'd definitely go again, maybe sample different sauces.

We did takeout from here the other week, and the orange chicken was really good and fresh. I just wish it maybe came with some broccoli or something. The cream cheese wontons and sauce were delicious too. When my husband went for pickup they were a little disorganized and behind because they had so many orders, but overall it was pretty tasty Chinese food.

Solid Chinese food. Best in town in my opinion. Order to go, ready quick. Nothing on the menu that I haven't liked.

I stopped in and ordered and was out of there in a short time. The food was excellent, and the price was amazing. I would go again.

Food was average. I didn't love it or hate it. If I needed a Chinese food fix, it would fulfill my craving.

Food was tasteless and very bland. Wanted pea pods, but was told they were out. Wouldn't go there again.

We called and gave them 30 min notice and when we got there the tables were already set up for us. They were very attentive with service and got our food out quick too. The rest of the restaurant was very busy too. Everything tasted delicious! I liked the wide variety on their menu, they had a lot of options for whatever you are craving. It was 20 below today so a lot of us opted for the warm bowl of pho. The pho broth here is a little bit on the sweet side but also my fault for not tasting first before adding hoisin. They were generous with the tendon! The rare steak was cooked perfectly. The banh bao here is really good. We ordered some and then got their buy 10 get 1 free deal to bring home. Spring rolls were good and fresh. Chicken wings were crispy and juicy. The shaken beef was nice and tender, good flavor. The shrimp pho had plenty of shrimp. Overall great experience and its convenient location. Plenty of parking.

The menu is big, plenty of different options from noodle, rice, and meat dishes. They have buy 10 get 1 free banh bao or custard buns - they are a decent size. I ordered banh bao for dine in and it came out warm. The dough isn't too sweet and the plenty of filling. The to go banh baos come cold, perfect if you plan to eat them throughout the week. The pho comes in one bowl size. It doesn't look like they offer typical chili oil but there's chili powder and oil at the table. Chicken wings have a nice crisp, but needs the sauce for flavor. The shaken beef (Bo luc lac) has a strong vinegar smell, good flavor, and comes with just a few thick slices of tomato.

Easier to call ahead. Back when it was dine in there was barely anyone there. Taste has been consistent for many years. they are not friendly but the food makes up for it. Prices definitely went up but it's still the best deal around. We still order for our holiday parties. Lately we've just been ordering when we crave it. The skin is so flavorful and the meat is tender. The bag of drippings it comes with it is liquid gold -- drizzle that over the duck and a bed of rice (rice not included). You can request extra drippings. Call ahead to reserve a roast duck with a pick up time, as they can get busy and run out. One roast duck fills a standard square styrofoam container. The restaurant is carry out only. It's located in the middle of a bunch of warehouses and there's a big free parking lot. The roast pork is also good and has a thick crispy crust, but the duck is definitely the star.

She seated us in a roomy booth and immediately brought us some waters. We ordered a the fried dumplings and the sesame balls. Both were absolutely delectable, best of each I've had in my life. The sesame balls had a crispy sesame coated exterior with a sticky bun interior and sweet bean filling. The fried dumplings were perfectly cooked to delicate perfection and were accompanied by a soy sauce with freshly minced garlic. Those didn't last 2 minutes on the table. We ordered the twice cooked pork and stirfry lamb as entrees and, as other reviews have said, the portions were generous. As for the the meats, they were thinly sliced, tender, and cooked to perfection. The spice level was right on point, not enough to numb your tastebuds but surly will leave you with clear sinuses. The spice contributed significantly to the succulent flavors found in each dish. Each entree comes with a bowl of buttery white rice. As a man of high caloric intake I was very satisfied with this establishment's CPD factor. As a genuine touch, there is heartfelt apology for rising prices due to rising ingredient cost and bird flu found at the bottom of each menu. 10/10 will eat again.

I ordered the Stir Fry Spicy Beef, Mapo Tofu, and the Pork Belly. Everything was tasty and have no complaints as far as the actual flavors. I do think that the Mapo Tofu should always be soft tofu rather than firm, but that's just a personal preference. The beef was plentiful and extra tender and the pork belly was perfectly melt-in-your-mouth, so good that I felt like I had to ration it throughout the next few meals. I do wish it came with more rice. I ordered three sides and only got one box of rice. I was hoping to have at least two so I can eat it for several days. However, to end on a positive note, when I walked in to pick up my order, the woman (owner possibly) was incredibly friendly and spoke Mandarin to me. She was welcoming, funny, and we briefly argued how spicy food should really be for it to be enjoyable. "The spicier the better," me thinks. Come show these guys some love!
