I was driving down the road and saw this place. The "Express" part drew me in as I was in a hurry. I will say it is fast. They had my lunch cooked to order, not reheated or microwaved, in just a few minutes. Impressive! The quality of the food is just so-so. I had the lunch combo plate of General Tso chicken. Lots of food and just $6. This included fried rice and broccoli. Maybe some other choices are better but this was just average fare. I think they must do mostly take out. I like the food here and supported them during Covid but after today I will not be ordering from again. Placed my order online, got a confirmation back that the food would be ready in 20 minutes. Got there and they were taking a break and had not even started my order. They said my order came in when they started eating (and therefor would make it after they were done). I'm very happy found this hidden gem! The location is a little off the beaten path (behind a gas station next to a Subway) BUT very happy gave them a try. I tried Lo Mien and a couple of entrees and everything was wonderful AND during this Covid time all the staff was wearing masks (even when they were in the back cooking). They have online ordering (which is what I did) but that is sorta odd since there are two websites you can use to do online ordering from that are both for this restaurant. My sister has become obsessed about them as well! I tried their Beef and Broccoli and the Sweet and Sour Pork, both EXCELLENT! Asian Express is really that - ITS FAST and its ASIAN! But really, these guys are about as fast as Jimmy Johns. The food is always steaming hot, and they are friendly and quick! Its a great little shop and convenient to carry out of or get delivery from. Prices are in line with every other Chinese takeout joint in the area, so I have no reason to complain. The phone order taking was a breeze. The guy who answered the call was very clearly helping me with getting the best deals and when not substitute in fear of price difference. Delivery was fast and within 5 minutes of the promised time. The driver did not have enough change so we called the store and paid over the phone. The portions were larger than the usual to-go sizes. At least it was not in a square foam box that drips from three sides. This one came in a recycled plastic bowl. The content was amazing. A well cooked Hot and Spicy Beef with appropriate amount of sautéed veggies still crunchy but steamed and mixed in the delicious sauce used to cook the beef. The spicy rating sits around 65% so it is safe for most people. This may be my way back to possibly re-start feeding at counter service Asian places. There was no sign of any of the usual pre-cooked or frozen till reheated tastes that are associated with the group mass purchases at these short order places. Well done. Bonus extras on the food comments: The fried potstickers were really quite good. These are often a fail for some restaurants. You also get 7-8 of them per order. I would say this is our go to for take out. It's quick and easy to order, if you ask for delivery they quick to deliver. If they are busy they will let you know delivery may take longer. We had one order missing a container of lo meting but one of the ladies working drove it out to us within 5 minutes. We use this place for our Friday night movie nights and anytime we need a quick meal. Definitely worth a try. There's something on the menu for everyone. read more

I ordered early in the day for delivery. I ordered lunch at 930am (before they opened) scheduling a delivery time of 1115. They arrived at 1145. As I work right around the corner what should have taken 5 minutes to drive took a half an hour, and the food was cold by the time it got here. The driver was rude. I called the manager to complain about delivery time/cold food and she tried to tell me that the wontons were cooked first and that's why they were cold.
