Since I was craving for some Asian food, and to repay my friends for helping me move in this vile, summer heat of Satan's domain, this Thai restaurant piqued my interest. It was 100% worth it. The menu has a lot of great options to choose from (looks great too on a visual and readability standpoint). My friend ordered the chicken satay and it was very well seasoned, chicken wasn't dry at all, and the sauce was perfect with it. I had to try my favorite Thai food, the pad see ew, to see what's up, and it was delicious as always; has to be one of the best I've ever had. Noodles were chewy, soft, nicely coated with the sauce. Meat was hearty and well cooked, and the veggies were delicious and weren't too soft at all. The staff were friendly and attentive, as expected. Overall, eating at this restaurant has made me feel more assured about my establishment in this city and I will definitely be a new ordinary customer here. read more

I tried Li-Su on a whim after spotting their Peanut Curry on the menu, and I'm so glad I did. The curry is incredibly flavorful, and I love that I can add shrimp for only a dollar more. My husband ordered the Panang and was blown away by how good it was. Since that first visit, we've worked our way through a lot of the menu, and everything has been consistently great. Their curries remain my favorite, but the Krapao Mussels deserve a shout-out--they're packed with flavor. I've also tried the orange chicken and sesame chicken, and both were delicious. The Tom Kha Soup is another standout and easily one of my favorites. I wish I had more photos of everything we've tried, but just trust me when I say: Li-Su brings serious flavor to every dish. read more

Hidden gem in the suburbs. I love Thai food but living in Saint Paul I am quite spoiled with th multitude of excellent Thai restaurants nearby. Thus, I was highly skeptical when a friend asked me to join her at a restaurant near where she lives in Egan. I am so glad I checked it out. Anytime, I first visit a new to me Thai restaurant I always order the same thing so that I can judge whether I am going to be happy or not. The name slightly, Here it was Phat Kaprow. I ordered it with tofu, medium spice level. It was wonderful! Super flavorful and balanced with right mix of spicy, umami and sweet. my friend ordered the Masaman curry, which was also very good. We stumbled upon this spot while in Eagan and are so glad we did! The space was clean and the music was calming. For reference, we've been trying to find a Tom Kha like our favorite Thai spot in southern Florida for a few years now. The coconut milk and lemon grass were fragrant and flavorful. Plus, it was packed full of ingredients! This is the closest we've found in the Midwest for sure. Our tried and true, Pad See-Ew, never lets us down and this was no exception. Great place! Recently they added extra space and decorated it beautifully! The yellow walls really give it a happy vibe. The staff is so kind. Whether it's takeout or dine in, they always make sure you're satisfied. They make it a point to give fresh hot food every time. The Khao Soi is one of my favorites. The hot curry with the noodles is so soothing. You can feel all the flavors hit you as it enters your mouth. I also enjoy the Thai Fried Rice. It tastes even better than it smells! Before I can even receive the food I can smell the aroma coming straight from the kitchen! One staple I get every time is the mochi ice cream. Ambiance is clean and cute for a suburban strip mall restaurant, but I would not call it date worthy. With only 7 tables in the restaurant, I would not bring a party lager than 4 people here. I loved that the menu has plenty of pictures to help you order. Here's what we've tried so far: Pad See Eiw (4/5) the noodles were perfect. I asked for extra sauce and they did not disappoint. My tofu tasted great, freshly fried and flavored by my extra sauce. I'm not vegetarian, but I prefer their tofu vs the beef. Massaman Curry (4/5) when asked how spicy, we were given options of mild, spicy or Thai Hot. When my hubby answered Thai hot, our waitress asked if he was sure. Haha! Yes, it was spicy by Minnesotan standards, but not as spicy as some other Asian restaurants in the twin cities. Good but doesn't feel authentically Thai. Pad Thai noodles were exceptionally greasy and the Rad Nah was just OK. Family owned, we felt welcomed. And ordered to go from inside the restaurant. It wasn't busy so they offered us a seat and water while we waited. A great neighborhood Thai restaurant. We have always ordered takeout so I don't know about service inside. The food is always great! For us vegetarians, you can order many of the entrees with either tofu or extra veggies, and they have vegetable egg rolls, which aren't so easy to find everywhere. One thing I don't like is that when you try to order online, it takes you to Door Dash, and if you don't want to get that app,you can't order. But we just go there and order in person, and it's always been ready really fast. read more

Fairly new Thai place in Eagan. Convenient location, good quality ingredients, and a nice clean and busy place. Food, however, lacks flavor - we expected fresh basil, lemongrass and cilantro, but they seem to use dry spices instead, and that makes the food taste more bland. Tried it for the first time after a friend raved about it. The Pho with chicken and the Pad See Eiw, both ordered with medium spice, were bursting w/ flavor. Just a bit of heat to give a spicy edge. The fried tofu and spring rolls were better than average. I should've added shrimp or another protein to give the spring rolls more oomph. Will definitely be back. Prices aren't cheap but a good value IMO. read more

I've eaten here twice for takeout. The first time I got Pad Thai with chicken and level 2 spice. It had a great kick and the flavor was amazing. I got at least two meals out of it too! Tonight we ordered Pad Woon Senn with chicken and no spice and the pork egg rolls. My 6 year old and I ate and still have leftovers. It was so delicious! Staff is friendly, price is reasonable. Brand new restaurant! This is great Thai food. It's nice to have a local Thai restaurant and not have to go 20-30 minutes to Apple Valley. This is actually much better than Taste of Thaiyai in my opinion. Food came out very hot and fresh, a tad bit spicy for medium, would probably do mild and add spice next time. This was fantastic Thai food. For a point of reference we generally drive to St. Paul for Ruam Mit Thai and have liked On's Kitchen and Taste of Thailand (long ago) have tried most of the places in town. Li Su is right up there with Ruam Mit. It's truly the first decent Thai place we have had outside of St. Paul. read more
