I really like how spacious the lobby was! You wouldn't know by looking at the outside just how big the establishment was. The food was great! Some of the best rice (made as a bun!) that I've ever had. And the main employee was kind and helpful.

I placed an order for takeout, and they had a kiosk that accepted my order and payment; it made the process extremely easy. For a fast casual place, I loved the decor. It was bright, clean, and attractive. I ordered the pan fried dumplings and the vegetable ramen. Both were tasty, and I'd comer here again.

Met friends here for lunch, one of them had been here before and he highly recommended it. We were not disappointed! The decor is great, and I love the seating options. The booths have "shades" on both sides that are pulled down to block viewing by/to other booths. They also have curtains that can be closed for additional privacy. Service was excellent, they took time to answer questions and provide recommendations. We all decided to get the lunch special. I ordered the Thai Iced tea, the Pork Bao Bun, and the #1. Tokyo Tonkotsu Shouyu Ramen. Everything was delicious, but way too much food . I took home enough leftovers for another meal. Definitely plan on going back.

I came to Kyuramen and ordered the Osaka Ramen and an omurice. The flavors were decent--not particularly amazing, but still enjoyable. What really made my experience a five-star one was the service. The pork belly in my ramen came out undercooked and was too tough to bite through. The server helped replace it, but the second one came out the same. I was ready to just give up on it, but she came over on her own to check on me and offered to replace it with something else instead. Her attitude was so kind and thoughtful the entire time. Because of her great service and willingness to help, my visit ended on a very positive note. Excellent customer service really makes a big difference, and I appreciate her effort! I would come back again.

Giving it 3 stars because my teen loved his dish and had fun. Rest of us wanted to love it, but it was a miss. Food: it's the only place you can get omurice maybe without flying out of state, so that's why you would come here.. try their signature dish. Otherwise... the ramen was mediocre. Skewers were surprisingly tiny and way overcooked. Service: pleasant, friendly. Prompt. Ambience: you can ask for a booth, which is kind of novel and fun around here... it's a little booth with curtains so it feels private. It was a fun experience for my kid, but we all agreed it's a one time thing.

Service is always super friendly, and the enclosed booths are so fun. This place has the best thai tea in the cities. The tonkotsu shouyu ramen is incredibly flavorful -- get it with the black garlic. The curry ramen had good flavor but the broth was a little too thick. The popcorn chicken was a little dry. The steam pork bao buns are fluffy and delicious. The omurice portion is extremely generous, but the dish was a little too saucy for my liking. The matcha crepe cake was a little bland and could use a touch more of sweetness.

The service was astounding and the staff were all so wonderful! There's these cute little hubs that you can dine in that provides more privacy, but my partner and friends sat in the main area with tables. I of course had to try the omurice! It was quite delicious and I loved the creamy texture. Although it was a bit heavy and the curry flavor was a bit too strong for my liking, the fried rice did balance the dish out. My partner got the katsuobushi ramen and the broth was spicy, flavorful and delicious! My partner didn't like how fatty the pork belly was, but I loved it! My amazing lemonade was refreshing with cucumber, but not mind blowing. The Thai tea was amazing! Not too sweet and I can actually taste the tea flavor, which my partner and I loved. I really enjoyed the matcha red bean pudding - nice creamy (like tofu creamy) and not too sweet. Overall I had a lovely experience here!

I've never tried octopus before it, this appetizer was my friend's recommendation, and it was actually really good. It was kind of a consistency of a mashed potato, but fishy. I really like the flavor profile, but I would definitely have to share it with .it does come as a six piece but I forgot to take a picture when the plate was full . I love that the little booths had privacy, and the servers were excitingly tentative. I've only had Ramen I think maybe once or twice in my life long long time ago, and they were horrible experiences. This place, totally changed my view of Ramen and all its capabilities. There's so many toppings and flavor profiles in each one. I definitely want to come back to explore the menu more. Everything we had was amazing so far .

A really great place for a different style of ramen. The place was great for date night with a really good ambiance! The service was quick and mostly has walkins on any day of the week. Definitely going back here. The food is quite authentic and has a vegan option on the menu as well.

Walked in and immediately felt welcomed! The employees were so nice and polite, making the experience even better. I tried the poke, and it was incredibly fresh - definitely one of the best I've had. I'll absolutely be coming back for more. Also, it's great to know they offer a military discount. Highly recommend this place!

This restaurant is so cute!! I love the layout and enjoy getting to have a more private area to sit in with the closed booths. Parking was easy as well! Our food came out pretty quickly and was very fresh! The broth was rich and nice for a rainy day The service was great too! Someone checked on us often and everyone was friendly. I'll definitely be back!

What a fun and delicious place! Super yummy - all that we ate. The broth in the ramen- so amazing. The different components in each ramen were fresh and so tasty. We were seated in a booth which was a great private space. Push a button when ready to order or ready for your bill. The service was fabulous- smiles, jokes and super helpful. Can't wait to go back and try more options. More than just a meal- a fun experience.

I've seen a picture of the private booths and was wondering if every table it like that?

There are a number of private booths that line the restaurant, but a lot of the seating is open tables. There is also seating around the bar/kitchen area.

One of the plates he brought to the table also had food stuck on to it. The quality of the spicy tuna on the Minnesota Roll was not as expected, seemed like a well dressed canned and scooped tuna salad, and the crab is clearly imitation crab. Good atmosphere and service, but the food was less than. My friend seemed to enjoy her chicken teriyaki though.

Usually there is a very nice young girl working the front. Today I decided I wanted lunch while I take a break from DoorDashing. I walked into the restaurant and saw my order was ready but I had to use the restroom so I proceeded to walk toward the back where they are located. As I'm walking back there an older crabby woman with a permanent frown moved the phone away from her mouth and yelled, "excuse me"! I looked at her in shock and said, "I'm going to use the restroom". I'm 36 and something like this has never happened in all my years of life. Why on Earth would I walk to the back of the restaurant with a secret agenda!? People usually wash their hands before they eat anyways. I 100% feel like she said that to me because I am brown. I use the restroom at many restaurants all day as a doordasher and I have never had someone try to stop me when it's very obvious where I was going. I've never written a review before but I think during the times we are in other brown people need to be aware of the microaggressions the Apple Valley staff, specifically the crabby old woman has toward brown people. I will not be coming back to this location after this Interaction. I'm not spending my money AND TIPPING people who think I'm a threat. Don't come here, drive to the Eagan location.

This store is across from a Walgreens that I enjoy and a Dairy Queen that I had visited for the first time last month. I found this store easily. It's in a plaza with a bunch of other businesses. I backed into a spot and walked in. This store has Vietnamese, Chinese, and Thai items. It looks like a tiny store from its exterior, but there is so much to look at when you're inside. The aisles are narrow. If you require a walker or wheelchair, you will have a tough time moving around this store. The fresh produce and fridges containing drinks and more are on the left when you first walk in. You can get baguettes and banh mi sandwiches by the checkout area on the right when you walk through the doors. The ramen, vermicelli, and noodle section is impressive. I stood there in awe of everything that I was looking at. I was also impressed that there was a little section with Chinese ointments and hair dyes. I wish that it was more extensive. However, if you want white flower oil or tiger balm for your ailments and such, you are good getting them here. It was nice seeing packages of banh xeo flour. You can pretty much find everything that you need to make an authentic Vietnamese, Chinese, or Thai meal, from sriracha to cha chien. I saw huge jackfruit by the Pocky. I've never seen both products so close together in a store. You can tell that this store packs so many products in such tiny quarters. The snacks are decent, from coconut-covered peanuts, to shrimp-flavoured chips. I didn't buy anything, but I was curious to check this place out. The store accepts cash and most major credit cards, including Discover. I enjoyed browsing here. I'd return if I need any snacks or feel adventurous to make some banh xeo in my hotel room. (113)

I had so-so birria tacos (no consomme, single soft-corn tortilla) and so-so horchata (served in a sealed bag that looks like an IV pouch, actually kind of funny), along with a tasty and particularly juicy elote. My friend got the Asada Mulita and he quite enjoyed it. That seemed like a good deal for $9, and $4.90 per taco for what I got is okay. The ambiance absolutely does not rise above what you would expect from an unremarkable, utilitarian convenience store with a few tables that aren't routinely wiped down. You can order online (highly recommended) or from a screen near their covered-up window. Whenever a food place is clearly hiding its employees from its customers, I'm nervous that I will be ignored. But someone was constantly popping out and asking people what their names were, and telling them how many minutes they can expect to wait. (Waiting = standing next to the salty snacks shelves.) I see now that they have Al Pastor Chicken with Pineapple Pico and I definitely want to come back and try that. Maybe I'll raise my rating if I love it. Meanwhile, I'd recommend considering this at least for the experience, but order ahead and expect a 30-minute wait. Also note that they close at 7pm.
