Parking was easy. It's been a while since I came here to eat and I love the fact you can pick the type of noodles for your dish! Popcorn chicken was amazing. A lot of seating.
Great noodle place with affordable prices. We got garlic chicken noodle and chicken mushroom noodle soup. Garlic chicken is sweet and sour with a little bit of spice. If you like sweet and sour chicken, this dish is for you. Chicken mushroom noodle soup was a little bland. But I was sick, and this was filling, warm and heartfelt. They also gave generous amount of black mushroom, which I really like. I would not get this soup if I am not recovering from cold or not sick. Chili oil was also tasty and you can tell it's made in house. But, if you are a vegetarian or don't eat a lot of meat, your options are very limited. Service was fast and you can even scan menu and order directly through the code. Vibes are cool and we went around 4. So it was quiet and chill. We will be coming back!
Food was filling and portion sized pretty large. The noodles were definitely hand pulled and soaked up a lot of flavor. Service was decently quick and ambiance was nice overall. Definitely similar to Lanzhou noodle shops in LA. :) I do wish there were more green beans in the green bean stir fry. The seats did have some crumbs but otherwise the place was pretty clean. I definitely see how this is a nice lunch spot for families and students on a break.
Stopped in here with the wife for some fuel after a blood donation. We loved it alot! You had the choice of either ordering directly from the table via QR code or waiting for a server to come to your table. The staff was very nice and helpful. We ordered the scallion pancakes, Sichuan wonton in chili oil and the Mongolian Beef entree. Everything was delicious! The scallion pancakes were a little bit thinner than I'm used to but the flavor was great especially with the provided sauce. The noodles were excellent just the right consistency that you get out of hand-pulled noodles. The restaurant was overall very quiet and laid back. With pretty artwork and a nice vibe. The window where you can see them making the noodles was a really nice touch. Parking was a little tricky (make sure to park in back) but if you can snag a spot you don't have to worry about street parking. We'll definitely be back one of these days for more noodles!
Very cute and cozy spot in Saint Paul! Hand pulled noodles? Who can complain about that! We ordered the sichuan wonton in chili oil as an appetizer, and LOVED it! For main entree, I had the Garlic Chicken Fried Noodles, and my partner had the curry noodles. I'd go back again to try more of their menu, there was lots of options! It's also a fun addition to be able to watch the noodles get created. A little insider scoop to the process!
I was temporarily staying nearby so ordered out from Master noodle. Ordering was easy via their website and it looks like they deliver (by Door dash ?) as well. I ordered the steamed pork dumpling and the garlic chicken with wide noodles and extra noodles for $4 more. Was well worth it. Portion is huge, noodles are perfectly chewy. Dumplings are small but delicious and priced well. I picked up and appreciated the parking behind the building as it's on a busy street that includes the light rail .

There was a small dining area if you wanted to dine in which looked similar to most Asian restaurants. We ordered: - Cheese Wontons (4/5) - Scallion Pancakes (4/5) - Pan Fried Pork Dumplings (5/5) - Moo Shu Fried Noodles (4/5) - Taiwanese Tomato Beef Brisket Noodle Soup (5/5) - Sichuan Dan Dan Noodles (5/5) The ratio of veg to noodle was off on the Moo Shu Noodle dish, and it lacked seasoning or any type of sauce. It just needed something more...it was just a pile of chewy noodles. Albeit, the noodles themselves were awesome, but I found the dish lacking. The pork dumplings were among my favorites. The beef noodle soup was amazingly good. I've been meaning to try this place for a long while; I'm glad we finally tried it. I look forward to a return visit.
You know a place is incredible when you can't wait to write your help review :) I was visiting a bookstore on the same strip as Master Noodle. I had heard excellent things about their hand-pulled noods so I was keen to try them. I went for a Sichuan wonton in chilli oil and then the Sichuan dan dan noodles. What can I say? I love spicy food. The server was excellent, polite, and straightforward. I asked about the plum juice, and he told me it was overly sweet. He even brought it out for me to see that it has 51g of sugar! Anyway!!! Wontons in chili oil are good, salty, and slightly spicy. The dan dan noodles were so so good. I didn't want to put my chopsticks or bowl down until I had vacuumed everything into my stomach. Fast service, it wasn't very busy around 5pm on a Wednesday. It was clean, and it has a private parking lot in the back. I look forward to trying more items on the menu.
I have been to Master Noodle several times and love the food. I always get the scallion pancakes, they are so yummy. I tried the king pao noodles this trip and was really satisfied. Filled with veggies, chicken and peanuts, plus a large serving of noodles. The flavor is great, I wish it would have been a bit spicier. I'll remember for next time! I also really enjoy the Thai tea. The space is typically loud, but that doesn't bother me. The only complaint I have is our booth looked like it was duck taped together. Service was quick and easy.
We had a girls night out and our friend chose this place for the month. The food was super tasty and as you can tell in the photos we were hungry that most of the food is gone...lol The scallion pancakes are my favorite and I could have the eaten the whole plate of them. We also tried two new apps to us; the Szechuan wontons and the pork mini buns. They were both good, the wontons had alittle heat but nothing we couldn't handle. For my entree I got the garlic chicken fried noodles with little heat since I wasn't sure how spicy they would be, they were yummy and was a huge portion. I also got a brown sugar milk tea to drink but forgot to take a photo. The service was great, our waiter didn't mind that we sat and chatted after we finished eating. They were able to answer any questions we had and the food came out pretty fast. I can't wait to go back and try some other dishes, everything looked and smelled delicious.
This place was really good!! I loved the noodles and the bubble tea was great. Our waiter was polite and great as his job. The ambiance was warm and comfortable. We had a great date night here. Will definitely be back sometime!

After hearing rave reviews from friends, my husband and I decided to use this chilly Sunday as the perfect opportunity to give it a try and we were not disappointed. We'll definitely be back, probably again and again. If you're a mushroom lover, the mushroom and chicken soup is an absolute must - rich, savory, and packed with flavor. My husband was initially unsure about the braised beef ribs on the bone, as the fat might be a turn-off for some. But once he dug in, he was hooked! The meat was tender, flavorful, and paired beautifully with the sweet-savory broth, which had just the right kick of spice. It would have been nice to have some of the meat pre-chopped in the soup, but it didn't stop him from finishing every last bite! We also couldn't get enough of the dumplings. The dough was perfectly soft, and the filling was a heavenly combination of well-seasoned, tender meat. Yum! We were so impressed, we were already recommending it to friends before we even left.

My youngest wanted dumplings so we decided on Master Noodle. I ordered their garlic chicken fried noodles and choose the wide ribbon noodles which made my dish 10 times better! I love that they now offer a variety of noodle shapes!!! My favorite dishes from here and I recommend you trying them are the garlic fried noodles, the Dan Dan noodles, the cold cucumbers, and the wonton in chili oil. Service is fairly quick and the staff is friendly. The restaurant is nicely decorated with Chinese paintings and arts. I will have to come back and try the Dan Dan noodles with different noodles style!!! read more

The food is good, the restaurant feels clean and well decorated, and the service is good! We ordered the Sichuan wonton in chili oil, the beef burritos, and the garlic shrimp fried noodles with the knife cut noodles substitute). Everything was really good. I loved the flavors and different textures of the burritos, the sweetness and stickiness of the chili oil for the wontons, and the bouncing of the noodles for the garlic shrimp noodles. The only thing I didn't like was the sweetness of the sauce for the noodles. It was almost like eating noodles in sweet and sour sauce. I'd go back and get a savory or noodle soup entree instead. read more

My husband and I ordered Master Noodle for delivery & it was amazing; we've been to the actual restaurant before & can confirm that delivery is just as tasty! I got the Moo Shu Fried Noodles, which had the perfect hand-pulled noodle, super chewy & delicious. The veggies that were included were also tasty, with lots of egg. My husband got Garlic Chicken Fried Noodles & confirmed his was delicious as well. Everything that includes the hand-pulled noodles can't be beat! We also shared a Taro Milk Tea, which was so good. It comes in a large size with lots of chewy boba. All in all, this place is a must-have, & I can't wait to eat in the restaurant again! read more

Epic! I realize that there's more than one of these in the area, but if they're all as good as this, I would never go anywhere else. Casual atmosphere with an Asian motif. Kitchen open to the dining room so you can watch all the action. Fantastic to watch the noodle Master make your noodles For your dish. Service was solid and prices super reasonable. I will say the spice levels are definitely up there and so good it'll just make you cry! LOL Nice variety of soft drinks and bubble tea, with limited alcohol, choices of beer, wine, and sake. Easy access with tram stop just outside the front door. A must when you are in the area. read more

Service was kind and friendly, and I appreciate that the noodles were hand crafted and freshly made to order, however, something about the cook/taste was off with the noodles in my opinion. Texture was a bit firm for my liking when i had my bowl with a more floury taste. Broth was yummy with the meat being highly more sought after, but it felt like the portion of meat was on the lower side. Overall, the taste was more on the average side at an 6.5/10 for the dish I had! read more

We've been going here for years and are never disappointed. Everything is very fresh the handsome noodles are toothsome and the dishes are flavorful. The chicken garlic noodles are a favorite. We also enjoy their scallion pancakes, Szechuan dumpling and pork dumplings. Curried noodles are good. I have tried some of the soups which are good but not as tasty as the stir fried noodles Staff is friendly and the decor is attractive. Good prices too read more

I went on a weekend road trip to MN and discovered this delicious gem! The scallion pancake was light, not oily, and crispy; the sauce was terrific. I wish I could get a bottle of it! The noodles were handmade. Walking in, I saw them making the noodles; it was so good! We had the shaved noodles with braised beef. Delicious broth beefy with picked mustard and cilantro with carrots. I could use more carrots and veggies, but other than that, it was delicious! The popcorn chicken was my favorite; it was crispy and flavorful. I tasted some allspice, maybe some crushed anise. It was a flavor bomb in my mouth. Service is B+. You order on the app, and they bring you the food. Just don't expect them to check on you every 15 minutes coz you actually need to get their attention if you want something. Ambiance: it's a little loud, lots of people, but seems like the noise reflects on the wall. The bathroom was clean. I would recommend and come back here! read more

Master Noodle is one of the rare Chinese restaurants in the Twin Cities that provides delicious food from the Shaanxi Province. Typically, the Shaanxi Province specializes in hand-pulled noodles and crispy beef and pork sandwiches. Today, I got the Biang Biang Noodles which is a signature hand-pulled noodles with flash fried chili oil and bok choy. Fun fact: Biang Biang Noodles are actually one big noodle that supposedly makes a "biang biang" sound when you're making them. These noodles were delicious and chewy and the vegetables were a great pair combined with the hot chili oil. And if you're craving more spice or flavor, don't forget to add more chili oil and vinegar! read more

My Mom and I have been wanting to try this spot and we finally did tonight. The food was delicious! We couldn't pick just one item each so we tried appetizers in addition to our entrees. Parking available in the back of the restaurant, great service, and the atmosphere was nice. The wontons could've been better but we had those, beef short ribs, fried dumplings, Mongolian beef friend noodles and garlic chicken fried noodles. Spice was perfect! Can't wait to go back! read more
