Ichiddo was my first time having what I'd consider real ramen, and I was a little nervous because I am definitely not the "throw every mysterious ingredient in the bowl and hope for the best" type of person. We both got the crispy chicken ramen, and I actually really liked it. I ordered mine without mushrooms because fungus and I are not friends, and I left the fish cake alone, but everything else worked for me. The broth was flavorful, warm, comforting, and had a little spice without being too much. We also tried the wontons and gyoza, and the gyoza was probably my favorite side. I could have easily ordered another plate. My husband also got pork belly and absolutely destroyed it, so I'm taking that as a good sign since pork is very much his department, not mine. The ramen side was pretty quiet when we went, but the location itself was nice and relaxed. Service was easy, the food came out looking great, and it ended up being a really good introduction to ramen for someone who can be pretty picky with unfamiliar ingredients. Would I go back? Yes -- especially for the crispy chicken ramen and another round of gyoza. 4/5 for me. Good, comforting, and way less scary than my brain tried to make ramen before I actually ate it. read more

Ichido Ramen has quickly become one of our favorite spots in Eden Prairie! The food was delicious, full of flavor, and exactly the kind of comforting meal you crave. Everything tasted fresh, and the broth was rich and satisfying. One thing that really stood out was how quickly the food arrived without compromising on quality. Disappointing Beef Donburi and Customer Service Experience I've visited this restaurant several times and generally enjoyed their ramen, so I was excited to try something different today. During a previous visit, I noticed another customer enjoying the Beef Donburi. It looked delicious, so I asked what she'd ordered. Today, I decided to order it for takeout. Unfortunately, what I received was incredibly disappointing. The menu describes the Beef Donburi as sliced beef and onions simmered in a chef's special sauce, served over white rice. The restaurant's website photo shows beautifully coated, flavorful-looking beef. What I received was a container of pale, grayish beef, onions, and white rice. There was no noticeable sauce on the rice, and the dish tasted exactly like plain beef sautéed with onions. No discernible seasoning, no depth of flavor, and certainly nothing resembling a special sauce. I called the restaurant to ask whether the sauce might have been accidentally left out of my order. The employee explained that the beef is cooked in the sauce rather than served with sauce separately. I understood that, but explained that the dish had virtually no flavor and didn't resemble what I'd seen in the restaurant or on their website. Rather than acknowledge my concern, he repeatedly insisted that he'd personally packed my order and watched the chef cook the beef with the sauce. I wasn't calling to argue about what he witnessed in the kitchen. I was calling about the food I actually received and tasted. Eventually, I ended the conversation because it was going nowhere. I'm including two photos: the restaurant's advertised Beef Donburi and the dish I received. Others can draw their own conclusions about the appearance, but I can speak to the taste. It was bland, plain beef and onions over white rice. I've had positive experiences with their ramen, which makes this especially disappointing. Came to this place twice for some ramen. Was soooooo good! The broth is perfect and I asked for mine to not be spicy and it seemed like an easy request to accomplish. The staff is really nice and it's attached to a Korean bbq spot that I want to try also. I would definitely check this place out! read more

Went on a weekday night after going to the mall and we were greeted immediately to see which side we were dining since they are connected with another restaurant. Once we said the ramen side, we just needed to go forward just a little more and we seated promptly. The menu had great options and so were the drinks. Our server also made our drinks and immediately told us if it was not to our liking to let him know right away. The drinks were perfect! The food was delicious and got plenty for our side of kimchi that we took it home. Would definitely recommend if you're craving some ramen or even if you just want their boba drinks! My family has been razzing me because I had never eaten ramen, not even the salt blocks available to make at home. Unfortunately, it was not as delicious as I hoped. I ordered the chef's recommendation (Char Sui) for delivery. All the noodles, fungi, pork belly, egg, and veg came separately from the orangey broth I had ordered spicy. I guess I expected a really umami, flavorful broth and this was bland and tasteless. I ate a little bit and gave it to RC because he loves this restaurant. The Crab Jalapeño app was pretty good, not great and RC took the rest of those as well. Finally, I did like the Chicken Bun w/o lettuce and I enjoyed that. The chicken was moist and the bun was soft and sweet. Overall, my first Ramen experience will be my last. read more

My two friends and I showed up on a Friday night at 5pm and were the first ones to be seated on the Ichiddo Ramen side of the restaurant. It's split into two sections, a side for the Japanese BBQ and a side for the Ramen. Our server gave us a lot of time to decide but once we ordered, checked in on us frequently. They made sure to walk around and refill our waters throughout the meal which was much appreciated! I ordered the Taro Milk Tea to start and it came in a to-go cup which was nice because I didn't end up finishing it all and could take it on the road with me. I then ordered the pork gyoza and the cheese wontons as an app. The pork gyoza were on par and I loved the scallions inside the cream cheese wontons. Really helped the flavor profile! My chicken story fry ramen was very delicious as well. It could stand to have a little bit of spice or a kick to it because it was pretty one note for flavor. Regardless, I'd order again!! I've been waiting for this one to open! I've gone to the one in MoA as well as the one in Minnetonka, but this one is closer to my home. I'm so glad this place was a very nice experience as well! I usually get the donburi at the MoA location, and have only had the char siu ramen at these other two places, but I'll for sure have to try other new things next time! I have been on the hunt for ramen in MN that can compare to Japanese ramen (as I went there for the first time 2 months ago). So far this has been the closest!! It could still use a tad more flavor, but I learned that's just typical American ramen (tho other ramens have been way less flavorful). We walked out saying "what a terrible experience" . The server (Michael L) repeatedly and cleary only acknowledged my husband. His body was only directed at my husband, asking him "sir, anything to drink?" "Sir, are you ready to order?", "Sir, how is everything?" He didnt ask if I wanted anything to drink, I had to stop him from walking away. He handed the check to my husband, assuming he was paying. This is the most sexist server Ive had. In addition, it was freezing in there, bathrooms were closed for some reason and they were out of basic things on the menu. The first bite of the beef in my ramen was cold.
