Spicy miso ramen is not spicy
    Michelle A.

This place is close to my house and the first time I've been here. I ordered Spicy Miso Ramen without onions. This one does not have nasty bamboo shoots or mushroom shoots. Also it is not spicy at all. Very flavorful. I liked the egg in it and my husband gave me the egg from his Chicken Ramen. Im glad I didn't order that one as the broth wasn't good. The portion size was huge and Im bringing the rest home. The chopsticks here are also connected at the end too. My husband liked the chicken Ramen and he ate it all. Definitely will come back as it close to my home.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Small ramen shop with indoor and outdoor seating that gets busy.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] You order and pay for you meal at the counter and within minutes you food is out. [[HIGHLIGHT]]You feel like you're in a ramen shop in Japan with their decor.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The Chuka Gyuuniku-Men (spicy beef ramen) broth was rich and had a good depth of flavor. Not as spicy as I thought it was going to be but still very good. The meat was braised to perfection. The spicy Miso ramen broth and classic Tonkotsu broth was heavy on flavor and outstanding. The noodles were bouncy and had a nice chew.

The menu has a limited selection. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It is a strip mall style restaurant with a small seating area.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The decor is what you would expect for a Japanese fast food restaurant.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They have quick service, generous portions and affordable prices. The food is as amazing.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Cute and small counter service Ramen restaurant with minimum seating.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Went here after skiing at Buck Hill with a couple of friends. Tables were reserved, but we were lucky enough to grab one as a couple was leaving. The Ramen was good. Nothing to rave over, but not disappointing. I have my favorite ramen spots in the twin cities already established, but I wouldn't be opposed to trying more of Itton's menu options.

We had been to their Bloomington location before, so we were excited to have one so close to home! Same great taste, just a smaller space! Parking is plenty in the strip mall location of this spot. Upon entry, you'll grab a menu and order at the counter. Menu is filled with great options. The space itself is quite small, but there were seats for us. I wouldn't recommend coming with a group larger than 4. The only improvement I would suggest is friendlier servers. The guys behind the counter were very quiet and not super friendly during our stay! The food was just what the doctor ordered on a rainy summer day. We started with the gyoza, pan fried and deep fried. I preferred the pan fried version because of the texture and flavor vs the deep fried version. The Itton Buns were good, but the meat was a bit cold. The tonkatsu Ramen was delicious, featuring all the fixings, a good serving of noodles, and served piping hot! Will definitely be our go-to spot since it's less than 5 minutes from home!

I really enjoyed this little spot! Food was hot and fresh and had great flavor! 22. Chicken Chashu Yaki Udon was a great classic meal. Perfectly cooked and tender with yummy mild flavor. 3. Spicy Miso Ramen with pork was definitely spicy and had a unique flavor. Overall quite yummy. 14. Chicken Chashu Fried Rice had great flavor and was very fresh. Ebi Fry (crispy shrimp) was the only dish we wouldn't get again. It was fresh, but it really wasn't anything special. I'd say the others dishes made up for this one. I would like to see more friendly and engaging employees. We tried to get some water, but it was warm and there was no ice. Everything else was fine, so not a huge deal. Overall we'd totally come back! Fast, fresh, and casual spot!

Whenever I'm picking up an order, I'm always greeted kindly. The transaction is always smooth and food is completed in a timely manner. Good food takes times and it's WORTH the wait. Parking is very easy btw! Huge lot. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I love the decorations and artwork all over the restaurant. It's very modern, traditional, and comforting.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Food is delicious such as the Ramen and numerous appetizers they offer. This place is always a go to when I'm in the mood for noodles - Anthony

It took a little longer to get my order than the estimated time when I placed my order but it was around dinner time so I get it. Was difficult though because I had my nephews in the car and was hoping to be able to be in and out. Food was good, even though I ordered it to go and didn't get to eat it until an hour later the broth was still hot (not hot after mixing the ingredients in so I had to microwave it). Love that they packaged everything separately so that it doesn't noodles bloat before you can actually enjoy it. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's on a smaller scale for dine in but they had plenty of seating inside for diners and even had a few outside seating.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Ample parking too. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Decor was cute and eclectic but also felt a bit like someone just threw up anything they could find in anime.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Overall if I were in the area I'd try it again.

Good little ramen spot! We arrived close to closing time, and they were nice enough to let us in and serve us. I ordered my Tonkatsu spicy, and they got it just the way I like it. We also ordered Chicken Karaage and it was delicious. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Inside is nicely decorated, there's a lot of Japan inspired posters.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We will definitely return.

Usually there is a very nice young girl working the front. Today I decided I wanted lunch while I take a break from DoorDashing. I walked into the restaurant and saw my order was ready but I had to use the restroom so I proceeded to walk toward the back where they are located. As I'm walking back there an older crabby woman with a permanent frown moved the phone away from her mouth and yelled, "excuse me"! I looked at her in shock and said, "I'm going to use the restroom". I'm 36 and something like this has never happened in all my years of life. Why on Earth would I walk to the back of the restaurant with a secret agenda!? People usually wash their hands before they eat anyways. I 100% feel like she said that to me because I am brown. I use the restroom at many restaurants all day as a doordasher and I have never had someone try to stop me when it's very obvious where I was going. I've never written a review before but I think during the times we are in other brown people need to be aware of the microaggressions the Apple Valley staff, specifically the crabby old woman has toward brown people. I will not be coming back to this location after this Interaction. I'm not spending my money AND TIPPING people who think I'm a threat. Don't come here, drive to the Eagan location.

I just got the Classic Tonkotsu Ramen this time and I can say it's the best ramen I've hard in the Twin Cities so far. Delicious, deep, flavorful broth. Great noodles and pork. I would have preferred no sesame seeds but there's nothing to critique on this ramen. Quick service, not crowded. I tried the ice cream machine for a cup on the way out. They have no sea-food option either, and they only have one chicken ramen. Chicken wasn't properly grilled and it felt like I am eating raw chicken. The ramen noodles were also interesting in that they don't look like any of ramen noodles I had before. Broth is just pure MSG so I didn't even bother finishing the broth. Udon strips-fried was surprisingly very good. It was a bit oily but chicken in there was tasty. Good amount of bean sprouts and cabbages. They seem to have multiple options for udon stir-fried, so if you want a traditional ramen or even udon with broth, this is not the place for you.

As far as I remember, Eagan location has more booths, which gives more traditional Japanese vibes. My chicken ramen was solid. Chicken was nicely grilled but the broth tased just like MSG. It's also hard to eat out of the bowl without a spoon, which they don't provide. Japanese fries are a must-try; it's large not too salty and the sauces are just phenomenal. Service was good but a little slow. It was dinner time on Friday, so they were probably very busy. We pressed the button two times but they didn't come. They automatically charged 18% gratuity fees so you don't have to tip them if you don't want to. Boba bar is right at the entrance!! The brown sugar was phenomenal.
